Nice clean place but there were no paper towels in the restroom.... service was ok.. they were really nice.. food is ok. We ordered 3 items. Chicken was dry.. fries was very oily. The salad was good but has no lettuce or any type of greens at all but the one who got our order said it has... so some difficulty in communication...but there was no wait so we were able to sit right away.

This establishment was fantastic. The flavor was amazing and what I'm most glad for is how close by they are to my home. Sam, who I believe is the owner's son, was really friendly and accommodating and treated us with kindness and a ready smile. We stopped by this place after reading about them in a Patch article that offered information about their establishment. Since we knew it was a newer locale, we were eager to give them a try. One important note is that the kind of cuisine they offer adds a flavor and a style that is not prominent in Patchogue, which diversifies the area. I love it! When we arrived, they were overwhelmed so it took a minute to get service. Yet, they were apologetic since they were understaffed and, in the end, the meal was every bit worth the wait. The soup was delicious. The meat succulent. And the wine options very tasty! In fact, we had a conversation about some ideas I thought might be good for the restaurant as far as their bar and website are concerned (like doing a wine flight given their awesome dishes that could make for excellent spread platter accompaniments to wine) and he was totally receptive to the thought and get the bar area hopping with more customers. It's refreshing to be in an establishment that is willing to have a dialogue with their patrons. The establishment is nice, cozy, and inviting, and I highly recommend you give them an opportunity and try them out. I certainly will be coming back to have some excellent eats.

Our friend have been raving about this restaurant and we finally went with them. From the mezzes (appetizers) to the mains to the desserts, we were FLOORED! The Gigante beans and feta in phyllo dough were amazing. The Manitou outstanding. The lemon potatoes I have no words for. The spices used are delectable. The ambience and care this family brings to the dining experience is top-notch. After having been to Greece 18 times, the food here matches or surpasses anything we've eaten! Don't forget dessert - the rice pudding is like none we ever had and the custard pie - oh my!! Oh, and we had plenty of leftovers!!! Thanks so much.

What a nice addition to Patchogue. The restaurant has a nice ambience. The service was great. The food was great. I had the lamb shish kebab. The lamb was very juicy. The tzatziki sauce was very good. I had lemon potatoes and rice with it. The lemon potatoes were good. I had the chocolate lava cake for dessert. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great little spot that seems to be getting overlooked among all of the other options in Patchogue. Our server was welcoming and attentive, explaining the menu and telling us about her move from Greece to NY all at the same time. Everything was clearly made fresh and made to order. Food was overall a 4/5 and deserves even more credit given the large portion sizes and how reasonable the prices are (Especially for Patchogue) Mantu and Kachaloo ended up being a great pairing to hit two very different flavor profiles. The lamb kebab was fattier than normal on some bites but overall extremely flavorful. Will be back when I'm in town.

Found a new spot at The Twisted Greek in East Northport and had a really enjoyable experience. The…read morespace does have seating available, but it leans more like a takeout-style spot--but perfect for a n nice casual meal. We ordered both the falafel platter and the chicken souvlaki platter, and both delivered. The chicken souvlaki was perfectly cooked with a great grilled char that added nice flavor without drying it out. Comes with Greek salad, fries or rice. Rice was cooked nicely and the fries were perfectly seasoned with salt and herbs (oregano). The Greek salad was assembled closer to an authentic Greek salad. Fresh ingredients and none of the ridiculous leafy greens, and no black olives here! Rough chop with the right stuff; cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, green bell peppers, kalamata olives and feta cheese. My only critique on the salad was that it was crumbled feta and not the traditional block feta with drizzled, extra-virgin olive oil and oregano. Still better than most out there. Service was just fine--nothing over the top, but efficient and friendly enough to keep things moving smoothly. Overall, Twisted Greek is a good choice if you're in the area and craving flavorful, well-prepared fast Greek food whether you're dining in briefly or grabbing something to go. I'm happy to have found this place!

Neither she not the gentleman welcomed us we kind of looked at each I guess we just sit anywhere. We sat a few minutes they ignored us until we asked are we supposed to order at the counter.. Yes..ok . The portions are large but the chicken skewers were cooked in advance and so dry they were inedible and smelled off.. of course they were sitting on the lovely greek salad which had only three olives but tons of cucumbers and tomatoes, I was a bit afraid to eat it with the weird smelling chicken on top so figured I would eat the soup and pita. I love Avgolemono and make my own at home - this was NOT that the rice was mush must sit for long periods of time and be reheated, again smelled off I didn't chance it. S had the chicken gyro again meat smelled off and had a weird taste.. so afraid to get sick we threw everything out and left the owners didn't even notice us (the only customers), though the garage was right in front of the counter. I don't suspect they will be open for long. I gave two stars more like 1.5 (being generous) because the pita was warm and soft. But they cut it in fours, maybe a guest might want to make a sandwich from their skewers as I did? Why cut it all up unless requested?!

The prices are reasonable and the portions are large but the flavors were off. The rice was dry and bitter and the sumac was a bit heavy without much other seasoning. Also tried the orange cake and it tasted like it was sitting a few days so it was dense but flavors were otherwise okay. As far as Greek food goes, there are so many places along Long Island so I would personally skip this spot. Service was quick and helpful and the sitting area was quite large and comfy.
