I'm so glad I stopped by this cute spot in an unassuming strip mall. The owners made the small…read morespace inviting. Bright paint on the walls with colorful photographs, a slightly raised space with cushions that might be used for a performance, and long tables that invite family-style dining. I chose this spot because I was curious about their "Afghan hamburger," which was sausages, hard boiled eggs, various vegetables, and fries with spicy ketchup in a tortilla-like wrap, exactly as described. The fries were pleasantly crispy, and I enjoyed the spicy ketchup. I wanted and got something different. The wrap came with a generous portion of chutney, perhaps the same mint walnut chutney I've seen elsewhere. I washed it down with salt lassi, which hit the spot for me. It wasn't too salty, and it had fresh cucumber in it. I was a little confused when the prices at the register were slightly higher than the prices on the menu, but it was still reasonably priced, especially these days. It would be great if someone updated the menu prices. I took home some sabzi palak (spinach stew) to go. Even though both the stew and the fresh bread it came with had cooled down by the time I got home, they were delicious! As soon as I finished eating, I ran to my computer to look up a recipe. That stew hit it out of the park. I will never think of spinach in the same way again. Next time we're in the neighborhood, I will definitely take my spouse here.

Firstly, the people who worked here were so kind and nice and helped us pick what to order because we had not been to many Iranian places. They suggested a great yogurt drink that was savory, not sweet, to go with the meal, and we also got their delicious tea that goes with everything. The food was so fresh and amazing tasting; we had the lebneh with very delicious bread to start with their spinach pies- they are small but delicious and come with a nice bit of tobouleh to cut the richness. We then had the lamb flank dish with rice (sorry I can't remember the name, it melted off the bone and was AMAZING). This tasted similar to osso buco if you've had that. We also got one of the chicken kabobs (very light and so freshly seasoned, lemon saffron and more!) also served with rice. Both meals very tender meat and the rice was so fragrant and tasty I only wanted that! We definitely had leftovers, and couldn't fit any dessert but stopped in their store next door, where you can pay for your meal and any goods you want from the store at the same time, very convenient! Delicious Turkish delights, teas, halvah and more. Will definitely be returning!!

Our order was ready on time and packaged well. Even though we were just picking up, the staff were attentive and helpful, which I really appreciated. The space itself is also very nice. Clean, well kept, and has a welcoming atmosphere. We started with the veggie samosas and mixed pakoras, and both were amazing. Perfectly cooked with great flavor and really good sauces. For mains, we had the Chicken Makhani (butter chicken) and the Chicken Malabar, and both were so good. Super rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The portions were also very generous. The garlic naan was a standout. Fresh, soft, and perfect for dipping into the sauces. Overall, everything we ordered was delicious and really hit the spot. Great flavors, great portions, and a really easy takeout experience. Definitely a place I would return to for dine in or takeout.

We may have found our new favorite Indian restaurant. We really have enjoyed the other Indian…read morerestaurants that we have tried around town however Saffron Indian provided some unexpected greatness. We typically order naan, chicken tikka masala, and chicken makhani. We certainly have ordered some other dishes, however those are our main items. We ordered online. The process was simple and our bag was waiting for us as scheduled. Their naan bread was really good. A little thicker than other naan breads and seemed a bit smokier while still being a bit chewy. We tried the plain Naan and Garlic Naan. Really good Naan bread with the garlic being our favorite. Both the Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Makhani were very good. Flavorful sauces with big pieces of chicken. The next dish was a game changer. We thought we would try the Beef Josh. This might have been our favorite dish. The Beef Josh was savory and flavorful but it was the tender chunks of beef that really made that dish. We tried two new dishes to us. The Chicken Kathi Roll and the Chicken Tikka Dosa. The Chicken Kathi Roll was Chicken Tikka inside a big flour tortilla. This was good. The chicken was a bit spicier than the Chicken Tikka dish we ordered. Still pretty good. The Chicken Tikka Dosa was also a new experience. The dosa is a large crispy crepe which has a nutty flavor to it. This came with a Tikka sauce for dipping. A fun new and tasty experience. So far so good. We are looking forward to coming back again to try their Tandoori Chicken and Baigan-bharta and maybe some Samosa. Really great food!

It was a little quiet when we got here with only a couple other tables around 5 pm. Place is a little older looking. The menus are old so the price is not updated. They even place a piece of paper to say price may differ from menu so if you really want to know how much something is, check. All of our dishes and drinks were more than menu price. This location has decent lassi for my liking. I did enjoy the mango more than strawberry. The food came out within reasonable time given that it wasn't busy. All of the dishes were delish and nothing to complain about. They were all flavorful. I honestly recommend all of the dishes we got. I did not enjoy the lamb curry because I'm not a lamb person and it def has the lamb aftertaste. Service was great. Please spend the money and update the menu, especially they are more than a dollar increase so customers can plan appropriate.

Not ideal when you have a hungry toddler waiting in the car. No ambiance inside, really could use brighter lights (it was dim), some cleaning, decor and music. The place feels tired. Service was also lacking, did not receive a welcome and many people were just waiting there and had to approach the host stand (which is also at what appears to be the bar area?) Now to the food. Chana masala was good. Chicken tikka was fine, nothing special. Rice was fine but we received more like 1-1.5 portions of it instead of 2 (for the 2 entrees). Maybe they were short staffed, but my recent experiences missed the mark and I do not know if we will be coming back
