Waited 15 minutes for the order ! $40/ for Butter Chicken, 2 Garlic Naan 4 Samosa Butter chicken and Naan a 3.5/ Samosas a 2... Won't be back! Service was confusing at best! It's Indian Food and Indian Staffed, Polite, but difficult to communicate with?! The Bathroom was Spotless, the Restaurant was extremely Clean ! 5 people seated at 5pm.. mostly Take out! Nothing I had warranted $40... maybe $28-30 Tops!

In my forever search for the best Indian takeout in Minnesota... And I FOUND IT!…read more Located in a strip mall with lots of great finds, this spot is half grocery store, half restaurant! While there is technically plenty of parking, it was very busy on Friday night when I was swinging by to pick up my food. The restaurant is very simple, with a few booths for dining, which were mostly full, and there was a line of about 6 people waiting for takeout. It was exciting to see so much support for this space. The workers were fabulous: friendly and working diligently to maintain order and make sure everyone had what they needed! I ordered my basics, since it was my first time! Samosas, Garlic Naan, and Butter Chicken! The Samosas were crunchy on the outside, and filled with potatoes, peas, and spices! Perfectly dipped in the accompanying chutneys. Mint was bright and fresh, tamarind was sweet and tangy, just how I like it! Butter Chicken was quite a large serving, bursting with flavor and nuance, which is sometimes missing from takeout versions of this classic. Naan was a bit crisper than I usually like, but the perfect vehicle for the leftover butter chicken sauce. I'm already planning my next order! Check this place out for sure!

Fantastic authentic food + kind service + unique ambience…read more Best tasting food. Hands-down quality ingredients in flavorful absolutely everything I've ordered It's been almost decadent 1010 almost every time I go. Kind people work there, quality of the food exemplary, and the taste like gets homemade and made from scratch The only odd thing you can say is that the atmosphere itself is authentic and it's authenticity often lends to the experience, which you can tell I have not remodeled that home in which they've built in over 30 years and they haven't needed to touch the decorations or the building because the quality of the food speaks for itself. It's not new. It's not bougie and it's fantastic. I have never, but I'm not opposed to sitting down and eating there personally, and my invitation certainly was brought up tonight as I ordered my food to go. I sat there, wishing I hadn't ordered it to go since I was enjoying the smells coming from the kitchen and the conversations and interactions I had with The workers who are so thoughtful to ask me about my dietary restrictions and desires

The food here is wonderful. The dishes have so much flavor and smell so delicious. The only thing…read morethat I don't like is the very outdated interior of the restaurant - and exterior too. The roof and surrounding plant areas look like they need some work. Overall, this is a great Indian food place to visit!

Omg. This place opened up in our neighborhood and it smelled amazing…read more The bread basket (3 types of naan) is worth it-the lamb naan is especially tantalizing. Every dish we have ordered was outstanding. From the tender, boneless lamb in the Rogan Josh to the incredibly flavorful paneer dishes and the chicken and mushroom in a creamy sauce! Their staff is kind and thoughtful-they even included an extra dessert on New Years! We are lucky to have them so close to home.

Modern space with pretty and simple decor, table linens and reasonable prices. We arrived at 5:15…read moreon a weeknight and there was only one other table of customers so we were offered a comfortable booth. More tables filled over the next hour until it was quite busy. We ordered three dishes and naan. The server who took out order was attentive and polite, so we were surprised when the food was delivered in big hurry by someone who all but tossed the dishes onto the table in a big hurry, literally dropping the dish of rice as he raced by - and then they forgot the naan until we later asked for it. The food was not as good as we had hoped it would be, but that might be due to what chose. We tried two street food items, including Panipuri, the small crisp balls with potato filling to which you add flavored water from a small bottle. It's an interesting combination of taste and textures. Also, we ordered a stuffed flatbread with Chana masala, which was less successful because it was not really stuffed naan, but instead plain naan folded in half with some seasonings between the layers and a side of very spicy masala. The most disappointing item was the shrimp curry - we orders medium spice but it was very bland and slightly sweet with the unmistakable flavor of "too-long-on-the-steam-table," the slightly stale flavor that sauces and soups acquire when held too long in the pot near the boiling steam. We would be willing to try again - maybe other choices off the menu would be better.
