My friend and I were trying to find a place to eat and sit down. We didnt know what to go and eat, but we were both thinking about Indian food so we decided to try this place. It was a really good choice. The services were good, the atmosphere was calming and quiet. The food came out quick after ordering. Everything was good, the garlic naan was delicious and so was the other dish. It did not disappoint us at all, everything was yummy and tasty. Had seen Dancing Ganesha in the days I used to live in Minneapolis but never had the pleasure of trying it. Was visiting family and decided to try it out. For the Indians craving traditional Indian flavors, in my opinion, this may not live up to expectations. We tried the samosas. The casing was exceptional. Crispy and held itself. The filling; hmmmm, didn't care for it much. The gobi manchuran we ordered as an appetizer too, not what we expected. It lacked the 'crispy' feel as it had a lot of the sauce. Traditionally, even when saucy, the gobi has an awesome crisp to the extent it's crunchy. Fun to eat. The other thing we didn't enjoy in the flavor profile of this was the ketchup. It felt like there was a good amount of ketchup that was used in the sauce. The tomato soup was EXCELLENT. It was a cool evening and the warm, rich, slightly sour soup hit the spot. I ordered the chole bhature. I think that was the most disappointing. The chole was not bad but the bhature; come on guys. You know what real bhature is. What was served was closer to something like a version of pita bread (little different) but not a bhature. If there was a 'sin' committed, I would say it was not serving a traditional bhature for a dish called chole bhature. We also ordered a dal makhani which was alright. The paneer makhani was really good. The paneer was super fresh and the flavor while not original (to me) was still really good. The service was fantastic. Our server was friendly, attentive, made sure our waters were always filled and checked in on us from time to time without being overwhelming while yet not disappearing. Would I come here again? Yes, to try the meats I will. I do feel the flavors may have been created to cater to the American taste buds so the authencity of the stuff we tried was just not there. read more

Love this spot. I usually get the saag paneer extra spicy and they do give a good spice level (I usually like it HOT). This time I tried the butter masala paneer extra spicy and it was fantastic. Love their garlic naan. We've been getting take out from them here and there but we finally went and ate inside for the first time and the service was very attentive and friendly and the place was nice and clean. One of my favorite go-to places for Chicken Tikka Misala. Their naan, vegetable samosas, and paneer pakoras are all great! Every time I have ordered, it is always packaged well. They wrap the sauce cups for orders, which I appreciate as they can sometimes leak. Ordering online and picking up, ordering on Uber Eats, or ordering on DoorDash works great with this location. I tried the Chicken Tikka dosa once and wasn't a fan of the crepe. I prefer the garlic naan with my chicken Tikka misala as the naan is more sturdy for holding the chicken Tikka misala and it is more likely to arrive warm. When picking up, the location is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. Quick process to pick up and inside has appeared clean during my visits. I hope to try a few other menu options soon, but it's gonna be hard to sway from my favorites. read more

Called and picked up an order of Butter Chicken to-go. I forgot to add naan and they were able to easily add it for us and the staff was kind about it. Pick up is on the side closest to the parking lot which was convenient. They offer mild, medium, hot, or extra hot (we went with medium and it was plenty spicy for us - kind of a lingering spice). We enjoyed the overall flavor profile but thought the chicken could've been a bit more tender. read more

The restaurant was recently opened in the last few years and the decor was clean, trendy and quite beautiful. We started with the chicken 65 for our appetizer and it was very flavorful and delicious! I had the goat curry and the bread basket, which came with a variety of naan, garlic naan and deep fried bread. Everything was delicious, full of flavor and spices! This deserves five stars since its authentic Indian cuisine and the flavors are amazing, the ambiance is nice and it's one of a kind in the suburbs. The service was very prompt on a Monday night. The Neelgiri with chicken main entree was amazing and the Gobi Manchurian (cauliflower) appetizer was delicious. The Naan is a must order and goes great with entrees. We haven't dined here but we've picked up. Their curry chicken and chicken josh is what I would recommend. We just recently moved into the area and have been looking for a good curry spot. This place is now our go to. Every one is very kind when we go in there. I'll place an order over the phone and it's ready in 15 mins! When I have gone in to pu food it seems to be a cute spot. Need a little more spice in your life. You definitely need to try Dancing Ganesha's. My husband and I started out our lunch with the lamb samosas. They were fantastic! Crunchy on the outside and tasty on the inside. I ordered butter chicken and my husband ordered the chicken tikka Marsala, with a side of white rice, palak paneer with a side of garlic naan. (It would be 1 star based on the service) We just ate here for the 2nd time, so I reserved giving a bad review until we visited twice to see if it would be better the 2nd time. We ordered sodas the first time and never got refills, the 2nd time the waitress never even asked us if we wanted anything besides water. The main issue is the younger female server, she is very rude, barely engages with you, takes dishes off the table while you're still eating, and acts like you're an inconvenience for being there. Tried this place for the first time last night and currently eating the leftovers. Got their chicken curry which had a nice kick to it and tasted pretty good. Their garlic naan was solid as well. I tried their lamb samosas but felt they were really dry so cant recommend those even tho they pack it full of lamb/dont skimp and give you two sauces to drizzle over or dip. Just didn't enjoy the Gobi Manchurian was too much breading for us. We loved the chicken tikka masala, just wish the chicken pieces were smaller. The Chicken Biriyani was amazing. The portions were smaller than our normal Indian restaurant so that was also slightly disappointing for us, but still decent portions. We ordered through door dash to be delivered and ate an hour after being delivered we got it and everything still tasted fresh and good. Always had really good experience with their food. Tonight, it was just a big salt bomb. If this was our first time getting food from here, I would never order again. We had a great family dinner with our adult children. Very quick, friendly service. Our dinners were excellent- starting with garlic naan. Three people had their favorite: chicken tikka masala - excellent in a rich tomato sauce with onions and vegetables. Each requested a different level of "hotness" and were very pleased. Our son had the shrimp and I tried the chicken skewer - the meat was so slow cooked tender and perfectly flavored. Accompanied by the longest grain, best flavored rice I've ever seen! This review is regarding a take-out experience I had this week with this restaurant. The dine in experience may be different. In a nutshell, the quality of food here is not even close to the quality of the Minneapolis location, where I've had many meals. I thought trying this would be a similar experience. No such luck. The food was terrible! The samosas and the garlic naan were so overcooked the naan was rubbery and the samosas were hard. On top of that, all of the dishes were bland and even with medium spice there was no real use of spice that I am used to from the Minneapolis location. The only good thing for this order was the mint and tamarind chutneys. They were excellent. read more
