It's busy...a good sign always in my opinion. The servers here were extra friendly and attentive. The decor is also nice. I had the cazuela (first time having it, I'm a fan) which was flavorful and filling. Excellent comfort food. My friend had the grilled shrimp which I snuck a bite of and that was also delicious. Both of us had to get to go boxes though because there was too much food. I will definitely be back.

It was really hoppin on a Thursday night at 5:15! All of the employees were friendly and helpful. I love the Mexican tiles! The food was cooked perfectly, as ordered. Everything was savory and tasty! I loved the spicy kick to the Chili Con Queso Dip. The service was fast, and skilled, but we weren't rushed, despite the wait in the lobby. I was able to enjoy a long talk with a dear friend. Thank you!

I decided to take Mom for her 92nd birthday. Belated. She's never had Molcajete before. One of the best I've ever had. The bacon wrapped shrimp. Eight of them. Perfection. And the service was absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much.

Crispy skin deep fried.

One of my friends in Redding wanted to go out for Mexican food and I don't really know exactly where to go in Redding, so they picked Mazatlan Grill. It seems like a sort of more upscale Mexican place, rather than a casual taco joint. The menu has a wide varity of dishes for everybody. The one item that caught my eye was the Pescado Dorado (Mojarra) for $15.49 described as a Deep-fried whole fish served with rice, beans & tortillas. I love getting whole fishes to eat! Especially deep fried! My friend orders a regular combo with enchiladas beans and rice. When our food arrived I was so happy with the way it was presented. The skin was all fried crispy nice and the meat was seasoned perfect, not too salty of spicy. Yes, there were a lot of bones, but I don't mind, the tasty meat is worth it. You might wanna not get this if you've already had say three Margaritas, then picking the bones might be a problem! Overall, I'd come back, the food was great and the service was just fine. They have a full bar here to if that matters to you. I was driving, but if I wasn't ....

If I was on death row, my last meal would be camarónes con crema and a jalapeño margarita SPECIFICALLY from here.

Allergic to cinnamon but did taste, again quite good and not too sweet. The cream on top was light and fresh. YuM'm! My quesadilla was so good! Quite the meal all by itself (spinach, onions, cheese, mushrooms, and tomato) with sides of sour cream and guacamole. Restaurant was clean, quiet, and service good with no long wait (lunchtime). Giving 4 stars simply because the service didn't match the faces. All seemed somber and/or with a preoccupied mind. Going thru the motion with no real ooomph. I can only hope the chefs/cooks were happier. I'll be back!

He's my hermano, so I had to let him know that we had just had two Hermano's burritos. Something like a super version of a special burrito with rice, beans, jack, guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo to go with your selected meat. We went with carnitas and it was amazing. So delicious. It's rare that I'll give 5 starts on a first visit, but the Hermanos left me with no choice. What else can I tell you. Great Mexican food on Market Street in Redding. Not too far from I-5 and worth the drive. Open everyday except Monday. It's an unassuming restaurant where you can assume the food will live up to the hype. Counter seating inside. Dog-friendly seating patio outside. The young cashier was really nice and when I told him I thought the mild red sauce was excellent he shared that it was his favorite. I also met one of the owners and there's something special about the people who run a small restaurant with incredible pride because they put so much love into the food. And the customers walk away with that love win their belly. OK, we drove away. But you get it. I don't know when I'll be back, but I hope to try the birria next time.

First off, the rice, white queso dip, cream sauce, salsa and bean dip they have, rival a favorite place of mine in LA called Salsa and Beer I ordered basic cheese enchiladas (one with red sauce, one with green sauce). They were FANTASTIC. If you think something as simple as a cheese enchilada can't be gourmet and elevated, I suggest trying anything from Rick Bayless (Chicago or LA) and El Cholo (LA) with their aged cheddar. All that to say, Casa Rios didn't disappoint. My friend got the chili relleno with cream sauce, one word, FANTASTIC. I like that it had a bit of char to it and that it wasn't super eggy. It had a nice crisp to it. For desert (it being my bday week and all lol) was their coconut tres leches cake with strawberries. Another smash out of the park. I will definitely be back. Eager to try their fajitas, birria tacos and flan. Great job. If I'm in town on Tuesday (8/11) I'll have my bday dinner here.

Our server, didn't catch her name, has been there forever and was excellent. Definitely recommend calling and getting your name on the waiting list so you can get a table when you arrive, otherwise the wait can be lengthy although worth it!
