I'd been struggling with ongoing pain in a molar tooth for weeks and it had gotten progressively worse. Dr. Maz is a wonderful doctor who takes the time to explain everything. I visited the office on a Sunday to get a second opinion on a previous root canal because I had continuous pain. He was thorough with his exam and found another tooth to be the possible cause of the pain. He did not feel comfortable moving forward with a root canal because he was not 100% sure that it would alleviate the pain. So let me just say I travel for work 25 weeks of the year I so happen to be in LA and I had been in some tooth pain from a tooth i had some work done in Vegas and was suppose to have the rest done once I got back to the Carolinas by my dentist well with scheduling I was not able to get it done and the tooth started hurting to no point of being able to wait I called Dr. Maz' s office and he got me in after my working hrs at pm at night I rode up on the elevator to his office and explained the dynamics of what had been going on. I'm usually wary of a business with loads of 5 star reviews but when I found myself with an excruciating toothache at 7 am on a Sunday I certainly looked for a dentist with all the stars in the sky. Dr Maz's reviews were almost all 5 stars and he was nearby, so I called him. At the first ring a man answered the phone; not an answering service operator, but Dr Maz himself, who had obviously been sleeping in on a Sunday morning! Dr. Maz was my hero today. I had an awful toothache and my regular dentist isn't available on Sundays. This doctor is absolutely amazing, I was having some of the most intense pain I've ever felt on Saturday night. Sunday morning I woke up in severe pain and knew I couldn't wait a second longer. I went to a terrible emergency dentist who treated me incredibly rudely, that Dr let me know I needed to find an endodontic specialist and he couldn't help me. I was honestly relieved to run as far away as possible from their office. I immediately googled an endodontist open on weekends and found Dr. Maz, I called on Sunday and he answered quickly and was able to come to his office just a few hours later to meet me. From the moment I met him I could tell this was a doctor who truly cared and wanted to help me. He was so sympathetic and understanding to my pain and walked me through the whole process. Doctor Maz is the best! He took me in on a Saturday with terrible molar pain. That said, I've just been to two dentists and an endodontist and no one could figure out which of my teeth needed a root canal. Dr Maz did! I wanted to do an IV sedation but the blood pressure machine wasn't working properly, so he had me promptly back Sunday (after working all night on another patient) with the new machine and all for my root canal. I literally have no veins and am a dental chicken but the IV was placed perfectly and the procedure went smoothly. I was in complete twilight sleep and Dr Maz and his lovely assistant kept me very calm and relaxed. I did not feel a thing. Post procedure I had no swelling, no jaw discomfort and no post anesthetic nausea/dizziness. And most importantly my pain is completely gone! I'm so lucky to have found Dr Maz! read more

My first and only so far root canal was here and it was a good experience! I was referred by my dentist here and I'm very happy he referred me because Dr. Ebrahimi was very professional, extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and gentle. I went in with the misconception that root canals were painful but on the contrary it was not painful in the least. Dr. Maz started by temperature testing and pressure testing my tooth. I'd say the temperature test was the worst part, but a necessity to be certain of the tooth that needs help. The healing process was painless in my experience. I waited about 10 hours after the procedure to eat anything even though they said I could eat after the anesthesic wore off. I'm extra cautious like that. There was no sensitivity! I am so impressed by Dr. Ebrahimi & staff!! Let me just start off by saying I am a fourth year dental student at USC & I knew my mom needed a root canal with a specialist(so I could not complete the procedure myself). I instantly referred her to Dr. Ebrahimi because I have heard how great he is, but he is just so much more than that. I contacted the receptionist, Shardae, which is AWESOME! She is so sweet, accommodating and she is somebody who truly cares for the patients. I told her my mom needed to come in because she is in so much pain and she scheduled us for the next day first thing in the morning. I was so thankful. My mom initially went in with severe pain that was keeping her up at night and Dr. Ebrahimi knew exactly what to do. He had such a calm and professional demeanor that instantly made you feel comfortable. Today was my second visit to finish off a root canal and it was such a breeze! I got recommended by my other dentist Dr. Nima from Picasso Smiles (who are also great btw). My first time going there I was a bit nervous but that all went away once Shardae (sorry I think i spelled her name wrong) the receptionist and the dental assistant greeted me with such an inviting attitude! Dr. Maz was very welcoming and explained in detail what he was going to work on. The whole thing probably took about 45 min, or maybe an hr but it seriously felt like 10 minutes lol. I felt no pain, except the pinch from the numbing needle, and it was quick! He showed me the xrays on what he had done and we scheduled another appointment to finish it off. That's Today! So, I went today and again i felt welcomed. He began working on the tooth right away and same as the last time, no pain! Even after the numbing went away, I felt fine, which is awesome. I went to work right after like nothing happened! I'm so glad I got recommended to Dr. Maz. The whole team is friendly!
