Dr. Bani and his team are AMAZING! This is coming from someone terrified and who has super high anxiety about dental procedures. I have had 2 root canals with them (one needed two visits) and can honestly say it was his gentle bedside manner and the professionalism and kindness of his team that made all the difference. (Valium helps too!) But Dr. Bani has a very calm and kind nature, patient, knows his stuff, and has a great way of doing the Novocain so its minimally painful. When I first visited him on referral from my dentist b/c I had 2 concerning teeth, he did his research and due diligence to contact my dentists from way back when to assess previous photos of problem areas and to make 100% sure the root canals were absolutely necessary. His staff Claudia - so very sweet and helpful, and KB - kind, reassuring, was able to accommodate my ever changing schedule. I was referred to Dr Bani by my dentist to see if he can save my tooth by redoing a root canal that was done 15 years ago. Sure enough Dr Bani saved my tooth. The whole process was painless, he took his time explaining what he would be doing step by step from numbing in stages to taking care of the tooth at home . He is so patient and caring. Makes you feel comfortable right away. He even called me few hours later to make sure I'm doing ok and have no pain. How amazing is that !!!!!! As you can see I have only posted a few times on Yelp. Dr Bani is hands down the greatest Doctor I have ever visited. He is such a pro, so gentle and so educated in his craft. The man sincerely cares about his patients. I had severe tooth pain on a Sunday. I called him and he made room for me the very next day. Keep in mind he is booked 3 months in advance!!! I am glad to be visited by Dr. Banihahsemi and met his staff. I had a broken tooth and 4 dentists told me from beginning I would need root canal but he told me he would do his best to keep my tooth as long as the texture of my tooth is not soft and he shared lots of good information about my tooth and procedure . I ended up of getting root canal and at that point I knew it would be the only option since I trust him after visiting him. He is really expert, did my root canal as much as smoother and faster than I expected and followed up with me after I got the treatment. He's extremely nice, funny, and most importantly, a complete pro. It's hard to worry with him as your doctor. I had zero pain and zero complications. It didn't handle the issue we were hoping it would, but that was at no fault of Dr. Bani. Whenever I get x-rays, dentists comment on what a good job he did. You know an endodontist is good if you're moved to write a review even if you DIDN'T get a root canal. I was referred to Dr. Bani from my dentist for a root canal. Dr. Bani took a look at it and wasn't completely convinced it would save my tooth. Like other reviewers, I was appreciative of his honesty and ethics. Summary - Dr. Bani was thorough, explained everything to me, including what he was observing on the X-rays (and I really appreciate it when docs/dentists explain procedures to me like I am truly a PARTNER in my own healthcare), gave me multiple scenarios, and sent me off on my way to make a decision. His office staff are very courteous, everything around appointments and being checked in was super smooth. Great practice run by lovely humans. Honesty, I'm just echoing the sentiment of all of Dr. Bani's other patients. I had terrible pain come on swiftly from a tooth that needed a root canal. My dentist couldn't get me in with an endodontist for another 2 weeks. A friend referred me to Dr. Bani and I am so glad she did. When I say everything was absolutely painless - from the numbing shot to the actual procedure to even my after care, I'm not kidding. This was my second root canal and I was nervous because my first (performed by another endodontist) was painful and uncomfortable. Dr. Bani is not only amazing at what he does, he's extremely caring and charismatic too. You almost forget you're getting a root canal when you're in the chair with him because he makes you feel so at ease. He even called later that evening to make sure I was ok and wasn't in pain. Dr. Bani is great! I'm a dental coward, mainly about shots. He took his time, numbing me in stages. I had an infection under the roots of a tooth in my lower jaw, which needed 2 sessions to work on. Both times, after numb, I felt no pain. When the anesthesia wore off, my lower jaw started aching. I took his advice as to (non-narcotic) medication and was comfortable the rest of the week. Yesterday, I had the second appointment, and he worked on the tooth a good 75+ minutes. Today I have no pain! He explains everything as he goes along. He was great! read more
