    Cafe Dulce
    Girlie M.

Specialty Cuban coffee roaster located in Terminal A at BWI. I decided to give it a try since it's a local coffee place to Maryland. Ordered the Cafe Dulce and really enjoyed it -- smooth, balanced, and not overly sweet, with the coffee flavor still shining through. I should've gone for the large! Would absolutely come back next time I'm flying through.

Well, they have a really strong coffee, the customer service people are really nice, and they do their mess to make your experience. Great. Coffee tasted better maybe over roasted beets.

This is one side where you can see some of the grounds, there were even more before I drank a TON of them.

I went here on August 11th after a long flight with my infant. It was absolutely terrible. When I arrived I had to wait about 8 minutes for the employee to return, which I didn't mind too much until our exchange began. She was so rude. Our conversation was as follows, Me:Hi Her: What do you want? Me: Uhmm... may I get and Iced Vani- Her: We don't have lattes, only iced coffee Me: (who was already planning to get vanilla iced coffee before being rudely interrupted) Oh.. that's fine I was going to get a vanilla iced coffee, please. Her: *Rudely states my total and goes off leaving me to pay and reach over to grab my receipt I then went to wait on my coffee at the pick-up counter, where a few people happened to be nearby so I assumed were waiting. She slams a coffee onto the counter and walks away, so I look to make sure it wasn't anyone else's and as I am approaching she rudely announces "THAT'S your coffee ". She is simultaneously having a conversation on her phone throughout this exchange. And while the words themselves weren't rude her tone and body language made me feel very unwelcome. I walked to sit down with my coffee and when I took a sip I got a mouthful of freaking coffee grounds. I then looked at the bottom of the cup to realize it was FILLED with coffee grounds. I had to pick them from my mouth and out of my teeth. I got a not so great picture and chucked it in the trash as I was now quite a bit away from the shop and didn't feel that going back to the rude young woman would get me anywhere and would just escalate the situation over $6. I reported it on a survey the shop sent me and have yet to receive feedback about 2 weeks later. I won't ever go back and honestly wish I would've pressed for a refund in the moment. It was just so disappointing after a long day of travel with an infant and I still had another flight to my final destination afterwards.

I was on the hunt for bottled water and walked right up on the kiosk in the concourse amongst the various food spots. Mayorga is the only location in the airport that has Voss water, lol! As if that was not enough, they have it still and sparkling!!! While the Voss was all I bought, the customer service was swell. There was a little bit of a line but it moved quickly.

I'm not a Starbucks fan and this is a nice alternative in a nice location at the BWI airport. It is perfectly located in the open area, away from the crowds. The service was quick and friendly. Thankfully, there is never a line like at all the Starbucks, but I think Mayogra is much better. They have an awesome selection of muffins at a great price and the coffee is very good.

They definitely have a lot of great options if you want something sweeter. We hung out for a few hours, they have a good seating area, was never overly busy on a Saturday morning. They have a drive thru for convenience as well. They have food available but I didn't try any. It is very similar to Starbucks in that matter, most of it seems to be reheated in the toaster oven. I love the concept of the shop though, it's New Orleans based so they have beignets and some other items inspired by that. I'm sure I will come back here whenever Im visiting my parents. It is most conveniently located for where they live.

There was also no hint of banana, if real banana purée is used then petals the reduction process could be increased to give it a more robust presence. The flavor profile of the drink as a whole was completely off and didn't meet the name of the drink. Beignets Well, they appeared to be freshly prepared, the grease presence tasted as if old grease was used. That flavor was a bit overpowering in every bite. The sauces I chose was pumpkin sauce and white chocolate, however, the cashier when recommending them made it sound as if the sauces came with it. I was a bit surprised to see a 50 Cent charge per sauce on the receipt. No I'm not griping over a dollar, it's more of the principle of more awareness and again I should have taken more time to read the menu as that may have been presented the up charge on there. Both dipping sauces were overly sweet, sickeningly sweet. While this did not feed my soul, maybe it feeds yours.

What I couldn't understand was the attitude, eye rolls, and comments from the girls behind the counter. This was the first time I had ever come to this location since I work nearby, but I think I would rather go get coffee at the Dunkin' Donuts up the street rather than feeling like I was inconveniencing the other Staff Members. I will be calling their Corporate Office to make them aware of my experience and also give them positive feedback about the gentleman that was patient and didn't make my patronage feel like unwanted. The parking is extremely tight, and is very inconvenient, as others have stated in their reviews. There is plenty of parking at the Dunkin Donuts and they are Customer Ssrvice oriented there.

I saw an Auntie Anne's as I walked toward my gate and could hear my tummy rumble and as much as I love a delicious, hot, buttery pretzel I decided against this for breakfast. I like to eat healthy (for the most part), but this can be pretty hard to do while traveling - especially in an airport! The sign for Chesapeake Cafe caught my eye - organic, locally owned, fair trade - so I decided to check it out. Plus, they had Naked Juices - just what I was craving! I saw a picture advertising fresh bagels on the menu and decided to order one. The bagel did not taste fresh and was actually pretty soft even after toasting. I was hoping for a freshly toasted bagel like I enjoy occasionally at Einsteins and Brueggers. This bagel was more like the type you find at your local grocery store - nothing special and definitely not worth the $2.59. The customer service was okay and others seemed happy with their coffee 3 stars seems fair. Note to self for future: Stick with the hand crafted espresso drinks and skip the bakery items.

My fiancé and I have supported this local spot for years. It used to be a reliable go-to. But over time, something shifted--and now I know exactly what it is: the cook, Laura. On 11/28, I ordered steak and eggs. What I was served was not just unappetizing--it was dangerous. The steak smelled rancid, oozed a grayish liquid, and had visible discoloration. We flagged it immediately. Today, we returned to follow up and were horrified to learn that Laura had been explicitly told not to use those steaks because they were spoiled--and she served them anyway. Let that sink in. Why wasn't the meat discarded? Why did she knowingly serve it? Is she untrained, negligent, or something worse? And more importantly--why is she still employed? This isn't an isolated incident. Months ago, I stopped in for a quick lunch and became violently ill within the hour. I had to pull over to vomit and missed an important business meeting. I suspected something was off then, and from that point on, I would call ahead to make sure Laura wasn't cooking. Recently, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. That was a mistake. There's a level of disregard here that feels personal. When I asked to speak with her after learning about the spoiled meat, the staff refused and smirked like it was a joke. It's not. This could have led to hospitalization--or worse. This is a public health issue. Laura's actions were reckless, and the restaurant's failure to act is inexcusable. I'm mortified, furious, and deeply disappointed. Willy's was once a place I proudly supported. Now, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Until there's accountability, I won't be back--and I urge others to think twice before risking their health here.

I trusted this friend so I made it my business to pop in for a bagel and iced coffee and it was at that point that my skepticism kicked in lol ... bc the bagels did not look like NJ/NY bagels . The place itself has a nice setup for ordering and a wide variety of bagels and even had signage for bialys which is also a favorite of mine however they were either sold out of them or didn't have any prepared when I was there. I ordered my go to ... a toasted everything bagel with veggie cream cheese and an iced coffee ... and I patiently waited. The iced coffee setup was really cool where you prepare your own and they have all the sweeteners and dairy options you can think of ... and the iced coffee itself was GOOD! My bagel was finally ready and an employee brought it over to my table .... first impressions from looks ... this bagel is going to be dry and there's barely any cream cheese on it .... but I took a bite ... SURPRISE! The bagel was actually perfect ... nice amount of chew with the perfect "bite" in the outer crust and while I would've preferred more cream cheese it was really delicious cream cheese so it made up for the amount in the bagel. I texted my friend saying the bagel and coffee were both amazing and I will be sure to visit this place anytime I am in the area again and need breakfast!
