I haven't had anything I didn't really enjoy. The shrimp pasta and beignets are my hands down favorites though! The services is always great. They make sure your order is correct and comes out quickly. Plus, they're awesome about substitutes. I'm allergic to mushrooms and instead of removing them from the pasta dish and being done with the order they gave me options of other things they could add to the dish in its place. MayMoes has a fun chill environment. The chalkboard menu on the wall is cute and speaks to typography nerds like me. I cannot stop raving about the blackened chicken pasta. We have had it catered at work a couple times but it's always gone so quickly, I never get much of it. I could not wait to get my own plate of it all to myself, and it definitely did not disappoint. Such good food!! I went here with my family and we all got different things- jumbalaya, a poboy, shrimp pasta, blackened chicken, pulled pork slammies-- everything was delicious. Great food, great service. This is a casual, order at the register and they bring the food to your table place. Mostly a lunch hang out but it is open for dinner. They treat everyone like family. Most of the menu is a Cajun take on American favorites, but their daily specials are usually straight Cajun fare. The shrimp grilled cheese is a favorite, but I've never had a bad meal. read more

We were visiting in Logan and decided to give this place a try. I grew up in Louisiana and I'm always eagar to try authentic Cajun food. This is very casual dining but the staff was friendly and service good. Had the jambalaya, hush puppies and beans. All seasoned well and portions were ample, but was very disappointed with the jambalaya. Only two tiny pieces of sausage in then entire dish and it was rather dry. The chicken and pork, if that's what may have been in the dish, was minuscule. There was no shrimp at all. Would be a fine side dish of rice with one of the other entrees, but not satisfactory as a main dish. read more

My wife and I have been a couple of times and we've been completely satisfied with what we've gotten. The poboys are amazing--the bread is wonderful and the shrimp or the pulled pork are both delicious. The pasta is the only cajun pasta that we have been happy with anywhere that we've tried. The pastas weren't anything special but taste awesome. But the hamburgers are to die for. The jalapeño burger is seriously amazing. This southern style restaurant's food is amazing!! I had the shrimp cajun pasta since I couldn't decide what to eat. The shrimp was well done and the pasta was darn good. It also came with garlic bread. If you're at the Tesoro gas station on the north side of town and are looking for a bite to eat, make sure you come here. Shoot, go on a date here. Very disappointed in how the quality of the food has gone down! The last few times I've gone in, the owner hasn't been in there and when he's not there it seems like the workers just don't care very much and the food does not taste nearly as good. It's sad to see such a good restaurant go down in quality. One of the times I came into the restaurant, I noticed a few people in the kitchen who didn't seem like they worked there. I've heard very vulgar language being thrown around. Tonight, I went into the restaurant and I noticed that two of the employees were trying on clothes in the middle of kitchen. This place is amazing. I had read about it a little from other yelpers and I decided to try for myself. The first foray consisted of a pulled pork sammich, I passed on fries and beans, not really that big on either. The sammich was amazing. Very mild sauce, very tender and juicy pork. The bread was perfect. The staff was exemplary, the owner came and talked a while with me made sure I liked my food, and we chatted for a little bit. Folks, when was the last time you went to a chain, and the owner wanted to make sure you liked the food, so they came out and talked to you??? I know that going to a Southern place as a vegetarian and expecting to be happy is a tall order but MayMoes was so bad I almost cried. We asked the register guy, a younger kid, what vegetarian fare was available, he shrugged. We pieced together a few sides, with no help from him. They have veggie pasta and a veggie poboy sandwich. We got the pasta which apparently had the option to be in olive oil or a creole sauce. We were not told this when we ordered it. The pasta was covered in shredded cheese. We also ordered hush puppies (these were actually good!) and coleslaw (so heavy on the mayo, I would not recommend it). After seeing all the cheese on the pasta we ordered a veggie po boy sandwich. I specifically asked for no cheese and another order of hush puppies as my side. I got a cheese covered sandwich with some sort of meatball side. If you're making a vegetarian sandwich why would you give a meat side? I had to go back and ask for a sandwich to be remade without cheese. After waiting close to fifteen minutes for another sandwich I got the same meatball side and this sandwich was doused in mayonnaise making it inedible. I heard they have more sides that are different veggies around lunch but seriously, as a vegetarian, this place should be VERY, VERY, VERY last on the list. One star for the hush puppies and one for the variety of hot sauces. read more
