Cable didn't work and when we went to the office to discuss they provided a Cable box. That didn't work either. WI-FI, its an open WI-FI so service is spotty and we had very little of it. So when they advertise WI-FI just know there isn't a password. You may or may not get Cable i guess it depends on spot your in. We were just told a water main broke so we have a little pressure tonight. Water being shut off tomorrow morning and service starting about noon. WHAT ??? now no water!!! When we were given our initial spot they were putting us in a place where there was a fire hydrant in the middle of it, obviously we weren't gonna fit and had to call emergency line to speak to someone to move us. He was great and we were given another spot. But... no cable!!! For the price we paid we won't be back. Its too bad the resort itself seems decent and the people in surrounding spots friendly. Alot of people are here fulltime and they have homes and rental cabins. Not our cup of tea. Should have just gonna to Parker i think. Sorry Arizona Oasis, we've been to much nice for less and full hookups with cable and WI-FI were just that.

Everyone knew each other and everyone was super friendly. You never have to worry about being unsafe in any situation here. Everyone waves, helps you out, feeds you, and shares! The amenities are really good. Bath houses are super clean and there is always hot water. General store was awesome. A great place to get hot coffee in the morning if you don't have a way to make it yourself, which we didn't. The river is beautiful. Even on Memorial Day weekend, I didn't find it to be too crowded. Even when everyone was bringing in the boats, everyone was patient and collected. People here are all about relaxing and having a good time with their friends. I can't wait to come back!

The park felt very secure with a gated entrance, and the beautiful green grass throughout the property made it even more inviting. The staff at McIntyre were always ready to assist with anything we needed and truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Great work to the entire McIntyre staff for providing such a welcoming and memorable experience

Visited Walter's Camp on my first canoe camp trip on 3/13/25. I was pleased to see that it wasn't…read morebusy. Tabitha, the camp host helped me get set up and gave me the lay of the land. The general store has a few items, merchandise, and even a bar back that is used when the camp is in full swing after Memorial Day according to Tabitha. I chose a far site at the edge of the property underneath two tamarisk/salt cedar trees which was great for shade. I launched my canoe at the concrete boat ramp and paddled the old Colorado River channel right out in front of the camp which is not lacking in it's scenery of Cibola Natl Wildlife Refuge and the beautiful Trigo Mountains Wilderness viewable eastward. Nighttime is where things came alive! Dozens of braying burros, coyotes, and owls that would hoot up a storm in the trees above me. An a/c or refrigeration until by the general store ran in cycles all night and was about as annoying as someone running a generator. The facilities provided had showers and pit toilets, all in good condition. Taking a moment to stretch/yoga before the morning paddle in the communal hang out area in front of the general store was a great idea. I was greeted by an amazing SW sherbet sunrise over the calm waters of the inner channel of the Colorado, it was spectacular. I'm typically a dispersed camper, so some of my gripes about the noise you can probably take with a grain of salt. Would I stay the night again? Sure, but I'd prefer something a bit more isolated. Thank you Tabitha for all your advice on boating the river as a novice, appreciate what you do!

My family and I booked a cottage for a week at their resort. A couple of them came from Washinton…read morefor the trip. A few days beforehand my mother who booked the reservation injured her back and is unable to go. I called to inform the resort of this change. They informed me that even though I am a signer on the account and allowed full access I am not able to check in for us. Apparently if I had made the reservation there would be no problem. They would not change the reservation name or allow me to cancel the reservation and remake it in my own name. I asked to be transfered to Robin who is the office manager. I know she has the ability to do this with no trouble. The lack of compassion and level of callousness shows me she has no business being in the customer relations compacity. My Mother is in tears right now with feeling responsible for ruining everyones trip. We really wish we has stayed clear of Colorado River Adventures and their timeshare as well as Emeral Cove Resort. We feel like we are connected to a company that doesn't care at all for their owners. We are still going on our trip! We are just going to have to pay someone else to give us what we already pay them for. I am emailing Robin the hospital receipt to prove my Mother was admitted otherwise she said we will still be charged for the week. What a pain stay away! Stayed in campground site 111. Very nice new upper loop. Full hook ups. Unfortunately not many of…read morethe sites are level. We needed 50 amp due to heatwave 100 plus weather. A real challenge to get a class A motorhome level. You would think when making a new campground the sites would be level. Most sites short only 37 ft. Today's rvs are much larger. If you have a trailer it easier to level. Most staff very helpful but the main ranger thinks he is a drill sergeant with attitude. We wanted to see the actual park before coming as this new loop we had never seen. We were at another state park and had reservations for this park. No way. You have to pick off the website that does not show accurately the way you will face. So our site got all afternoon sun. We couldn't even enjoy the outside with such hot conditions. Five star campground if sites were level and the jerk ranger wasn't here.
