Very nice staff and managers, clean park, and the clubhouse had things going all the time. There is even a popcorn machine, which is always full of fresh popcorn; and cookies and brownies to have with your coffee for a reasonable donation. We have stayed with runner before and would definitely come back and would recommend a stay at this nice RV park. They have all the basic amenities but even tho there is a wifi connection, Jeanie the desk clerk said "they" don't let her give it out the password and wifi is only for those that have a router. Our rig is new, we will eventually get a router but we'd been from Spokane to Tucson on a trip and were never told they wouldn't give me a password. There are so many nice RV parks in Quartzite. Very friendly staff and the winter residents are the best. Everyone is very welcoming. They have lots of great volunteers that decorate the clubhouse, prepare and serve Saturday breakfast and Sunday burgers and fresh baked cinnamon rolls. Playing card bingo is a favorite evening activity on Tuesday and Saturday nights. Seems like there's always something going on in the park. They even have a place to wash your ohv after a day in the desert. Propane is convenient located close by. read more

Rigid and selective on who can stay there. Seems 'corporate'. Might be good for those New Diesel pushers, but dont run your generator. : ) If you like rules and regulations, and homogenous guidelines, its a nice facility. read more

We like this park. Have stayed here either before or after a boondocks experience at BLM area. (Sometimes we visit here passing through in summer when it's too hot for BLM.) This is a nice, clean, quiet and inexpensive park. We have never used the showers or indoor facilities, though. read more

Came here to Quartzsite for the yearly RV show, gathering. Decided only about a month prior that we were going so it was tough to get a spot in a park. This one was the 4th we tried. Thank goodness the others were full! I can say with about 80% certainty that this is the nicest RV park in Quartzsite. I did not tour all of the parks, but the ones you can see from the road without driving way out of the way, are bad to horrible. They raise their prices for the month of January due to the show but I'd pay it again now knowing fully what the others look like. Also I think all raise their prices this time of year. Large sites that make you feel like you have a bit of room. Nice level gravel sites, concrete pad for a table or chairs etc. Very clean park. We did not use the showers/restrooms or laundry facility as we are self contained. So I cant comment on that. Office staff is nice, welcoming. The one negative is they charge a 3% fee for using a credit card. I could have gone back our, got cash but it most likely would have resulted in us opening the safe. That is an uncomfortable situation that we avoid unless necessary. I would highly recommend to anyone. And if we should come back through the area, you can bet we will be staying here. read more

We rented a used fifth wheel trailer on site for a week. We had several issues with things that didn't work or work right. There is even a big hole in the Outside wall leading to under the sink which I mentioned to one of the owners, Jim. I even asked him about animals or insects that could get in in addition to rain. His response was "well, I guess they could" but didn't offer to fix it.. We called in the next day after the furnace Turned off on us at night and was working intermittently. They said they would send out a repairman, but we never saw one arrive. We also had a major water leak when it rained, from the skylight in the living room. We also reported that. In addition to that we had several other issues, including lights in the bathroom that didn't work, kitchen faucet didn't work, right, no touchpad screen on the microwave, and more. We also spent a lot of time looking for a master light switch, which was hidden under the curtains, which they could've easily told us about upon moving in. The other owner, Carol showed us that she was putting a throw blanket on the couch. I wasn't sure why until we discovered it was covered in dog hair! My partner turned in the key at checkout, and Caroll wasn't working that day. So, the next day I called and talked to Caroll as we had handed in an All of the things wrong with the unit. We never did see any repair man for anything. I asked her if we could get a partial refund and made a suggestion as to the amount. She said she would check with the owner and get back to me. This was Monday. Upon not hearing from her on Thursday, I called her back. Upon hearing from me, in an angry and very rude voice. She told me "we are not giving you any refund back!!, Thank you very much for your business and goodbye! Click" She hung up on me. I was flabbergasted, so gave myself a few minutes to cool down and called her back.. This time she was very nice and polite and said honey, I have 40 people in front of me. I'll have to call you back tomorrow. I have been nothing but polite and kind to Caroll and Jim. Not really sure if they are the owners or managers, but regardless, no, customer should ever be treated the way I was on the phone today. Will never return, and never recommend this business to anyone! read more

I gave this park one star because I had to perhaps I should've given it 2 because it did look clean it well situated and taken care of. We arrived about 9 PM and it took us about 20 to 30 minutes to sort through the signage, the envelopes everything you need to do just self check yourself then we took a very quiet reduce headlight ride around looking for site 161 through 168 or 41 to 48 which were the designated sites to the paperwork on the door. This site was recommended on the phone from the 55+ people as well as their paperwork on the door and their website and their open sign being on. We thought when we saw the man crossing after we were parked in 163 they were coming to answer our message. We were WRONG, the man started telling us you can't park here you can't park here at all. My husband explained he was having a hard time seeing it. He said I'm gonna show you where you need to park and probably took us over to park next to him once we got charge, my husband said, I need to reverse a little bit to get my drivers tire out of this home. Come the woman that started screaming we shouldn't of even let you in here. It's way too late and the man was trying to calm her down. Also said we normally don't take people this late we don't take people after hours, my question is, why does her website not say that, why was the open sign still lit green? Why is another RV park referring them? My husband tried to explain this the woman kept hollering. He simply tried to apologize said we're leaving roll. the window out and we left. Still not sure who we are bothering they probably had 15 to 20 breaks in there when they could easily hold 150 or more. I would not recommend them if you expect friendly people who like to be kind and considerate, especially to seniors who have been on the road all day driving But that's sad. It's your choice. Nice park, no pool not too many amenities but the folks at the front desk were nice and helpful. Not the cheapest but it's clean, nice and has full hookups. It's near town too. Definitely nicer than some of the other parks in the area but I it is more expensive than some of the others. They have laundry machines. They don't have outdoor tables next to the spots so bring your own :) read more

New Owners! Very impressed with the new park. They have put some life back into it. Jeff and Robin are very nice. They have a nice laundry room, nice clean bathrooms with showers. The clubhouse is huge, has a small stage, a kitchen area and more bathrooms with books and puzzles and games. They have events often as well. Very clean and quiet pluss 55 RV park. Gravel parking pads with a cement patio at every site. Well maintained business. Residents have dinners in club house now and then. Far enough from freeway so no vehicle noises all night. Good power, water and sewer hookups set for left rear of RV. 4 stars as wifi was very hard to hook to and never worked for me. Cell phone service worked great so used phones hotspot setting. read more

We stayed here for a week in February. This is a clean well maintained RV Park. It's recently renovated and does look nicer than most of the other parks we saw in the area. We have a 43' fifth wheel and we're put in a 50' space. I was able to get in but not much room left to park my big 20' long dually once disconnected from the trailer. It's just a gravel spot with a cement slab. It's the desert so not really any shade. We are not really desert people so will likely not be back to this area. read more

They lied and said the website said they have RV restrictions, I know it's a lie because I just looked. Is busy season and now I'm SOL on a 50 amp spot for the night. UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP! This place is super clean now and friendly. They have nice big lots with cement pads. A huge common area and they host weekly events. Clean bathrooms with showers, laundry room, horse shoes and WiFi. I will be coming here again next year! read more

This is a fairly new park. They do take reservations. Check out is 11am sharp...and you'd best be out because someone is waiting for your space. 2 things I really liked about the park...you don't hear generators (full hookups...no cable), and...you don't hear highway or any road noise at all! We don't have a pet, but if you have a dog, it can't be over 25 lbs. There's a nice laundry room. ..5 washers. They also have plenty of planned activities. And...like most places we've been...the staff is friendly and helpful. We'definitely stay here again. read more

There are no hours anywhere listed, on the internet or the park. Host was no where to be found at 6pm and it was still daylight. Long time tenant was even fearful and called the sheriff to do a welfare check of he hosts camper. Same tenant said park and host will show up eventually. Host showed up 30 minutes later and said the Park was closed. Poorly run park and host not very friendly. read more

I had a very bad experience with their reservation service. I called and requested a four night stay for 2 RV's in January, and booked over the phone with a very nice woman. She gave me the site numbers, the price, and said she would be sending a confirmation email, which I received (but went to my spam box). When I called because I thought I had not received it, she said she still saw my reservation but it looked like there was a problem. I found the confirmation in my spam and confirmed that my dates/site were as promised. Upon doing some checking, the nice woman said she would find out what the problem was, and call me back that same day. No call. Mid afternoon the next day I called back, and spoke with the park manager, Colleen, who said that she had CANCELLED my reservation the day after I made it -- and that she had called me and told me that they do not accept reservations for less than a week's stay in January. NO ONE told me that when I made my reservation. I HAD received several calls from other online inquiries I had made regarding sites, and several people told me that they also had that policy...so one of those calls COULD have been from her. BUT, NO ONE called and told me that they had a CONFIRMED reservation for me that were CANCELLING. Park manager Colleen told me that the nice woman was "new" and didn't know the policies. I nicely requested that they honor the reservation because this was not MY fault, the reservation had been taken, and confirmation letter had been sent. She absolutely refused, and was not pleasant, or apologetic. The nice woman had told me that even though our original sites were now gone, that they had spaces open and she was sure this would be fixed, and it would be taken care of. During the course of our disappointing conversation, Colleen first told me that they "sorry, we are completely booked for those days", and then she told me we could book, but only for a week. All of a sudden it seemed they had sites available again. Their employee made our reservation, sent me a confirmation letter, my travel plans were made...and now all of a sudden my campsites are gone through no fault of mine. They should have honored our reservations. I finally gave up and hung up. The next day I receive a "cancellation letter" by email. Why wasn't this sent to begin with? Why was I not told of the "week" requirement when I booked? Why did they not honor the reservation when the mistake was THEIR'S? Good business practice? I think not. If you decided to stay at this RV resort, be sure you double check and be sure you actually have a reservation. read more

We spent three nights in early December at this RV park. The pluses: - Very clean facilities, including sites, common areas and bathrooms - Level gravel sites with a cement pad for the picnic table - Wide, drive-thru sites allowing pull-outs on both sides - Great laundry facilities that I actually used - Very attractive desert landscaping - They accommodated our reservations one additional night The one minus: - Pay showers (2 minutes per $.25; cost me $2 to shower and be able to rinse the conditioner out of my hair) Recommendation: - If the individual sites do not have metered water, why meter the water in the showers? Conclusions: - I would stay here again and again. Nice folks run the park, especially the gentleman who lovingly cares for it and took us to our site - This is an RV site in a desert town. There's not much vegetation and what survives is cactus and desert plants - If you don't like dust, stay away from the desert read more

Very boring park. No trees, no pool, nothing. It was just OK for overnight

I would not stay here again until they get new management. The managers husband makes people feel unwelcome! We were being helped to park by a park employee when we hit a water pipe that was above the ground and did not have a reflector on it. When the managers husband came down and asked who the (profanity) idiot was who did this. We were charged for the pipe repair. After contacting the corporate office we were given a credit toward our stay for half of what we paid. Most likely because they were embarrassed by the language and behavior of the employee. This man is only supposed to clean the bathrooms. This man also gives himself good reviews on campground review sites. Do not believe reviews posted by Blue Bird Bob. He is the man I am referring to. Other campers had similar complaints about this person. The other staff and camp host are nice. The park is very clean but sunny, very few trees or shade. read more
