I'm an RV repair guy and their dump station is awesome! The site is well planned and ready for even the busiest times. They supply the tank hose, flush hose, gloves, sanitizer and trash bin. It is clean new and so easy. Highly recommend. Because they supply everything you don't have to wait long for the next guy. You can dump and be on your way in a few minutes. read more

I stayed here as part of a 4-day Toyota Motorhome Rally where owners of these RVs get together to share the love and experience of our little campers. We dry camped in a circle. 12 of us. It was $10 a night Jan 2022, during the weekend of the opening of the RV Tent event. Tumbleweed has $5 showers (2024) and flush toilets. Their hookups were $25 a night, only about 2 years ago, now they are $50 a night. NO WIFI ANYWHERE IN THIS RV PARK ! Another year I was here, the bathrooms were not clean, the baseboards and doors and other places, were caked with long-standing dirt. I pointed it out to them. They said the wind blows it in, but someone cleaned it, cos I showed them the dirt. It stayed clean like they just cleaned it for at least the next few days of my stay, so I know they did not keep the surrounding surfaces (outside the toilet) regularly cleaned. Now end of Dec 2023 the dry camping is $15 a night. I am going to dry camp here again in Jan 2024, but not with the Toyota Motorhome group. The RV park itself is nothing special. In fact it's pretty bad and there are many better RV parks in the area. So why the Four Star review? My star rating is totally based on the water and dump capabilities they provide to RVs who are not staying onsite. This facility is ever so slightly off the beaten path and appears to be a well kept secret. Unlike many of the other more visible places to fill up with fresh water and dump your black and grey water in Quartzsite, this place is never very busy and you can get in and out with a minimal amount of fuss. Water is $5.00 and dump is $15.00 as of January 2022 (this is the same price I've been paying for the past several years.). The water fill area is your first stop and the quality of the water is good (it's treated City water not from an on-site well) and there are at least eight large parking areas with water spigots to fill and plenty of room to maneuver around any RV that may be in front of you and still filling. The dump area has three spots that are paved and also offer a spigot to use to flush your black tank and sewer hose. They used to offer propane at this location from a truck but apparently the City didn't like the fact that they were not filling from a permanently mounted tank and made them stop this service. So now I go to the Pit Stop for my propane which isn't a big deal. I do not use the Pit Stop's water fill and dump facilities because they are not well laid out for throughput and the place can get chaotic as it's most folk's "go to spot" in town. But for Propane only it's fine. read more

I wish I could give it a negative rating! It's the worst place I've ever been. Management is horrible, and they WILL steal your money.... they claim its for a deposit or "electric " when their own contract paperwork states that it's only for people who are staying there for 30 days when my stay was for 6 days! Such a scam! They really need better up keep on the grounds. Trash everywhere! Toilets laying around! Run down and unoccupied motor homes just abounded! read more

Such a great find!!! As previous review mentioned great for someone stopping through not staying. On our way back from my Dad's house in AZ, which doesn't have a dump, we needed to dump. We went early in the morning, no line and the gentleman who was working there was super nice and helped us out and made the stop pleasant and quick, especially since we still needed to stop elsewhere and get gas and breakfast. read more

Great friendly people! They new it was our first time camping with them and helped me back in and hook up. We had just missed the afternoon ice cream social and the manager came by to greet us she brought the best homemade strawberry ice cream I ever had. We spent most of our time in Quartzsite shopping but it was a wonderful camp ground to come back to in the evening to relax. Tumbleweed RV Park is in La Paz County, Quartzsite Arizona. A small township with a population of 3,677 according to 2010 Census. The park is easily accessible from highway 95 and Kuehn Street, a paved roadway outside the entrance to the park. This street is rarely busy, so traffic noise is minimum to none. Elevation for this park is 879 feet. So, if you like wide-open spaces like me; Tumbleweed RV Park is a place you can call home for short or long-term stays and your favorite furry pets are allowed. Property amenities include spacious freshwater refill and rv dump stations; back-in and pull-thru full-hookup sites. Large uncrowded dry camping and/or rv boondocking areas and trash dumpsters. Well maintained wide level gravel-soil grounds throughout the park including campsites; 24-hour security service and one community bathroom and shower house which is scheduled to be replaced shortly. Vendors can also rent space on the grounds of this rv park; interested party need to discuss this matter with campground host. Further, cell phones do work in this rv park which is a huge convenience for campers. There aren't any children activities or playground in this park. I find prices at this park to be reasonable and based on the camper's preference of stay in accordance with his/her in-person or telephone reservations as follows: One-day stay without services is $10; Weekly stay with full hookup is $125; Monthly stay with full hookup is $200; Monthly stay for dry camping and/or boondocking is $75, or you can take advantage of other services such as $5 for freshwater refill stations; $15 for rv dump stations; $5 for use of hot showers. Acceptable payment methods: Credit cards, debit cards and cash. Upon meeting the campground host, I quickly got the impression that he was an honest and compassionate man, who genuinely cared about the welfare of a diverse campground population. As well as, non-residents that visits the campground to use hot showers; freshwater refill and dump stations rather than wait in long lines at other facilities. Later, I discovered his wife had the same character as he when the following incident occurred: After washing clothes, I was exiting a small strip mall where the laundromat is located. Due to the chassis and low design of my mobile home; I have experienced the scrapping of my undercarriage while accessing and exiting this mall's hump in the past. As a result, I usually creep across the hump. On this day, I got stuck on the hump which ripped my blackwater tank pipe from beneath my mobile home; spilling blackwater from the laundromat exit; down the street and around the corner where I drove over a curve into gravel rocks and parked until the pipe was empty. As a snowbird, I had no idea who to call or where to go. Therefore, I called Tumbleweed RV Park Campground Host; explained my problem to his wife and was in tears when she said, "Come to us, we'll figure it out." When I arrived, her husband was waiting and directed me to a place to park and said, "A rv tech just pulled into our campground to use the shower. I'll bring him over once he's finished. I won't let anyone cheat you." I find this tech to be honest, very professional and meticulous. He completely redesigned my black and gray water sewage exit lines; lifting it higher from the ground and making it easier for me to access both dump levels and alleviate future scrapping issues. I was amazed when this rv tech charged me $60 which included his time and parts. I will never forget the kindness shown by the husband and wife campground host and the rv tech. I love this campground! Nearby Conveniences: Gas, propane, post office, bank, laundromats, pharmacy, La Paz Medical Services, restaurants, fast food, grocery store, dollar store and dollar general. read more

Definitely an A+ site. Very spacious with multiple dump and freshwater fill sites if you're not staying in the park and just need to use their services. Reasonably priced and extremely helpful staff. We stopped here for our first dump with our new rig and the helpful staff member was there in case we needed assistance. read more

Low rates $30.00. Water station and dump station. Some sites have sewer, water and electricity. Others just electricity. Not close to stores, yet there is a lot of open space for dogs and large motorhomes or trailer. read more
