In the short it was because of the exceptional customer service I received from Danny. I have stayed at RV Parks and RV Resorts all over the US and the customer service I received from Danny at Desert Gardens RV Parks in Quartzsite AZ. was so surprising to me. Other RV parks and RV Resorts should take lessons from Danny. While looking for a last minute reservation for the Big Tent RV Show in Quartzsite I stopped in too many RV parks trying to find several spots for myself and 3 friends. Some even treated me like I was bothering them and wasting their time for trying to get spots last minute. Danny accommodated me and my 3 friends. We all sincerely appreciated the customer service and the hospitality we received from Desert Gardens RV Park.

DG is located on the edge of town so it's quieter and darker than the other more centrally located parks. I guess the truck stop creates a little noise, but it's more like a gentle hum. It's never kept us up at night even when we've slept in our tent. We always enjoy our annual Quartzsite adventures. I'm glad Desert Gardens is there to provide us a comfortable place to stay.

Exit west and…read moreyou will see a sign on the right, that is if you didn't already see all the RVs parked from the freeway. I stayed the previous night at hi jolly and was excited to move locations. Dome rock is definitely more of a treacherous drive than hi jolly. There are hills, big rocks and ditches that would best be avoided unless you have a truck or 4w drive. I made the drive in a Volvo. You don't need a truck for the campsites in the front but you have no privacy and there is all the noise from the freeway. There are lots of privacy if you can take the back roads preferably in a jeep. I drove all the way to the right but didnt want to take the car any further into the mountains so we went all the way to the left side. There is a sort of steep dip with big rocks that we did make it over and found a campsite on a small slope on the right. Totally private, and there was already a fire pit built with some nice purple rocks from the hillside. Only downside to this campsite is that you can hear the freeway but its not that loud, it just makes you realize you are not so far from civilization.
