They used RED ink on my daughters white wedding dress and acted like they had no clue. From the moment Colby answered my call he was a complete professional, calming my fears and assuring me they would be able to help. We scheduled our first appointment, and he and his team were fantastic. Made sure to make any adjustments that my daughter wanted, explaining different bustles, the way they do hems and why they would take in at the side seams instead of just down the back where the zipper was. My biggest regret is not sending them to get professionally altered, I should've known better but i didnt know just how badly a simple request could go. I didn't want to wait the shipping time so I chose to support local and I hate to write a bad review of a mom n pop shop like this so I even went back to tell them I was unhappy with their work and all they said was "sorry. Go elsewhere then" with an angry cold glare and blamed me for requesting the original hem. Little did they know I already went to another alteration specialist and they told me the bottom was sewn too tight, that's why it looks so ugly and crumpled. Not to mention when I was still sitting there clearly upset, Mr. Tran kept asking me about my race. I'm not here to make small talk buddy I'm here to see if these people know how to make it right and the answer is no. I believe this was not a mistake, just a lack of skill. I wish someone had warned me out of the kindness of their heart not to trust Tran with expensive clothing that I can't afford to replace if ruined. I have attached pictures of the exact same pair of jeans below with the same alteration requested shortened and you can see the difference between Tran's work and a professional's. And this is after I even ironed them to try to make it better but clearly the damage is done. When I wear it, it looks permanently crumpled. The bottom of the wide legged jean was the most unique and beautiful part of the pant and now it is hideous and butchered. I am completely and utterly heartbroken.
