Only three rooms were cleaned, the kitchen and two of our three bathrooms. I've had house cleaning services over the last 12 years or so, so I feel like I have reasonable expectations based on personal experience working with good cleaners. The kitchen is about 10-12 foot square. While some things were obviously cleaned, the details weren't caught. The half bath is approximately 6x6 feet big, with a toilet, corner shelf and small sink. The countertop was dirty, the items on the countertop that stay out (like the toothbrush holder) were dirty, the lights window and mirror frame weren't dusted, the wall next to the toilet was dirty, and sink and faucet were still dirty. The upstairs bath is a 3/4 bath that's approximately 6x12 foot, with a shower stall, toilet and double sink. Again, the lights and windows weren't dusted, the sink and faucet were dirty. The shower wall was streaky, and the water with the cleaned-away dirt was left pooling on the floor of the shower and had dried there. The office was quick about responding to my initial email and follow-up emails. They offered to come back and redo the rooms we were unhappy with but I preferred not to. I asked if the amount of space that was completed was on par with the normal 6-hours of deep cleaning and they said yes 2-4 rooms were normal. I don't feel like that was a value for the price or reasonable for the amount of time spent. The young ladies who came to our house were absolutely lovely in the few minutes I spoke with them. While this is a negative review, my main issue is not with the ladies who did the cleaning. It really appears that the issues are with training, inspecting, and my expectations not being aligned with those of the company. I hope they'll take this feedback and invest the time in setting their staff up for success.

It seriously looks better than when we first moved in, and even then our apartment complex had a professional company come in prior to our move-in who did not even do half as great a job as Cleanly. He arrived early for our appointment to review our cleaning needs and provided an estimate by the next day. I really appreciated Mike's prompt response to all my communications with him. Cleanly ended up winning a contract with our building. They were able to provide services within the next few days which we appreciated since our building really needed a cleaning. The owner and his cleaning staff are friendly and professional. They work hard to get the job done and do a good job. I've been extremely pleased with their services from start to finish.

My recent Sunday morning load of laundry was done there in Boone, as Squeaky Clean's outpost in Ames didn't provide any means for obtain quarters. There were no such issues here in Boone, aside from having to feed more quarters in than I expected. The Laundromat itself was clean and spacious, and with plenty of washers, dryers, and folding tables available. Fellow patrons were a mix of families, single adults, and students. There was also a clean restroom available and easy access to my car and the street. The bottom line was that my clothes came out clean and dry.

Need to use high heat which destroys clothes. Should be at least 45 min. Unfortunately I'm from out of town and didn't know until it was too late. Big ripoff. Doubtful my clothes are clean. At least they use Speed Queen top loaders from WI. American made machines. 2 stars only because of prices.
