My recent Sunday morning load of laundry was done there in Boone, as Squeaky Clean's outpost in Ames didn't provide any means for obtain quarters. There were no such issues here in Boone, aside from having to feed more quarters in than I expected. The Laundromat itself was clean and spacious, and with plenty of washers, dryers, and folding tables available. Fellow patrons were a mix of families, single adults, and students. There was also a clean restroom available and easy access to my car and the street. The bottom line was that my clothes came out clean and dry.

Need to use high heat which destroys clothes. Should be at least 45 min. Unfortunately I'm from out of town and didn't know until it was too late. Big ripoff. Doubtful my clothes are clean. At least they use Speed Queen top loaders from WI. American made machines. 2 stars only because of prices.

I had a load of clothes to do last Sunday morning and stopped at the Ames branch of Squeaky Clan. Everything seemed to be there: nice washer and dryers, roomy and clean facilities, a place to purchase laundry detergent, and an ATM to get cash (which I did). But! The change machine was out-of-order! So without a source of quarters and no available means to put this on a credit card, I was basically screwed. Onwards to Squeaky Clean in Boone.....

Got them home and almost all of the shirts were dirty around the collars and one of the suits had visible stains on the front. Pressing was terrible. Then when I took them back in, they didn't apologize or even act surprised. They treated me like I was trying to put one over on them and were very rude. Not the best way to treat your customers! The clothes did seem a little wet coming out of the washers. There weren't any employees working, but I had no issues. Street and lot parking are available. The facilities were clean and empty on a Monday afternoon. I GREATLY appreciated that there wasn't much of a laundry scent, as I am sensitive to fragrances. Bring cash or quarters. I picked this one based on its current yelp rating compared to the others but wanted to also give my feedback. This is probably one of the most updated laundromats I've visited as it has newer machines covering load sizes up to 9 loads. The machines are also clearly marked as to which load size it allows. Floors needed a good sweeping but I still felt they were worthy of five stars based on their machines and cleanliness of the machines.
