Everyone was friendly and helpful, the…read morecrew that came out to give the estimate and do the work was on time, efficient, and everything was spotless when they left. I don't know anything about insulation or the science stuff, but they improved by air leakage over 1000 "points" (whatever unit it's measured in), and they will submit paperwork on my behalf to qualify my home for the energy tax credit. They are A rated on Angie's List and have a pristine BBB record. Houle offers a 5% discount to Angie's List members, and if you get a couple neighbors to also do work they'll give a bit more discount. I live in a townhome association, so that was a great feature.

The owner came out, inspected, explained in detail what we needed and gave us a quote. He also offered that Xcel was offering a rebate for some of the work we needed down and they would file all the paperwork for it. He was on time, personable and professional and the bid was reasonable and fair. We had the work done and the crew that did the work was on time, efficient, did an excellent clean up after the work was done. They did file the rebate and we received it in the time Xcel said it would take to receive it. It's rare these days to find a business that is honest, timely and fair with respectful crews but Houle Insulation was all of that and more. I would HIGHLY recommend them and in all honesty I am a hard to please customer because I won't "settle" for less than I expect. These guys are good. Because they are good they are busy so just know it may take a little longer to get scheduled but the wait is worth it! We have noticed a huge difference this winter. Heating bills are down and the house feels warmer.

I should be…read moregiving them a one star as they did not pressure check the plumbing, and I had an undetected leak, which I found after a couple days of using the shower. They did come and fix the leak, they did a very poor job of repairing the wall that they damaged to repair the leak ! Don't expect a one day installation, as my installation lasted almost one month ! I also expected the Kohler Shower product to be a better product! What I got was wall panels with flaws which they did repair, that required a number of phone calls, and shower was out of commission for two days! The show closet is an option to hold items in the shower, it to me is of poor quality! The shelves tend to work their way lose, and will fall to the floor with the items that were on it. I asked about this problem and was told that is the way it is ! They made no effort to pay for cleaning from the plumbing leak. They patched the dry wall, no offer to cover costs for paint! I was also surprised on how they employ their installers, they appear to be sub contractors to MN RUSCO.

It's been approximately a year now that I've been working them with Chris Pagel as my Point of Contact. Chris has been stellar in executing my jobs. He carries with him 20+ yrs of experience in the industry, he's very thorough and produces quotes for me within 24 hrs sometimes the same day of assessments. He goes above and beyond to insure quality installs and repairs. Dorglass is a stellar company for Commercial/Residential Glass and Door service. I highly recommend them. The entire staff is awesome to work with.

I purchased a new townhome in May on the west side of the metro. The HOA requested that two main…read morewindows be replaced due to fogginess and they gave me a deadline of 7/1/26. They recommended Dorglass who came out and measured the glass panes the last week in May. I also ordered a new patio door to replace the old one and was told by Dusty that it would arrive within 6-8 weeks. The glass panes arrived on the final day of the HOA deadline, but the size of the replacement panes were wrong. The installer attempting to install them only realized it after removing the foggy panes, and then he broke an entirely different pane in my window in the process. Dusty re-ordered them the following week. The panes were en route to my townhouse for the 2nd time weeks later when they somehow broke in the transportation. They re-ordered them a third time and were finally installed mid-August. Remember the patio door the I ordered in May? It also didn't arrive until the 2nd week of August. Communication was a constant struggle throughout the entire ordeal. Emails and phone calls typically were not returned for weeks. I finally drove up to their headquarters to meet Dusty and to be sure they were an actual company. Dusty was not available. The only person in the entire company who seemed to care about my situation was the receptionist. If you have glass/door issues, find someone else.
