Received a call from this company asking me if I wanted to get going on the project. I informed him that I never even received an estimate. He apologized and informed me that the guy at my house no longer works for them. So we set up a new appointment to get an estimate. The 2nd appt I was contacted 20min beforehand by Ryan letting me know that he is 90min away and won't be coming out because it is a waste of his time and his $50 in gas and it would be bad for the planet with his xtra emissions. So here I am 2 months later with no estimate and 2 failed attempts. He also offered that Xcel was offering a rebate for some of the work we needed down and they would file all the paperwork for it. He was on time, personable and professional and the bid was reasonable and fair. We had the work done and the crew that did the work was on time, efficient, did an excellent clean up after the work was done. They did file the rebate and we received it in the time Xcel said it would take to receive it. It's rare these days to find a business that is honest, timely and fair with respectful crews but Houle Insulation was all of that and more. I would HIGHLY recommend them and in all honesty I am a hard to please customer because I won't "settle" for less than I expect. These guys are good. Because they are good they are busy so just know it may take a little longer to get scheduled but the wait is worth it! We have noticed a huge difference this winter. Heating bills are down and the house feels warmer.

NES workers brought in the foam hoses to lift up and level the cement over a month ago. I have contacted Scott on his website form about my complaint and have heard nothing from him. It seems to be how he handles complaints. (See complaints below.) My complaint as a neighbor next door is that his workers splattered their foam composit that cures to a hardness as strong as cement, onto my cedar siding and onto my new cement. Jared and us have tried to remove the hardened foam on the cement with power spray but to no avail. My house is still splattered. I am very upset that this company has not reached out to us and offered to clean up the mess on my property since they know how to use their products or has not offered compensation for the damage. My advice to anyone seeking their services is to beware because they are only in it for the deposit and have no protocol in protecting the surrounding property. BEWARE!
