If you are thinking about having your air ducts and dryer vents cleaned I'd recommend Derek at Duct King. We had him here last week and can tell a difference in our air quality already. He didn't have a tall enough ladder with him for our dryer vents, but he followed up and is here now doing those. I had 4 quotes. He was by far the best price (beat some by $1,300), but I had a fear of "you get what you pay for". Totally NOT the case with Derek. He was on time, clean and really cool. We are very happy with the results.

NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE. STAY AWAY!…read more We spent thousands of dollars on an on-demand water heater they installed, and it broke down five separate times over the next few years. Each time, we had to deal with the inconvenience, disruption, and service calls. What was most disappointing was their lack of accountability and concern. They offered no meaningful solution, no compensation, and showed little interest in standing behind their work or the system they installed. Ultimately, we had to spend thousands more to have another plumber replace the entire system they installed. This was an expensive and frustrating lesson. Buyer beware.

I'm writing this review as a strong warning--do not hire Superior Heating & Air under any…read morecircumstances. We had worked with Superior for years without issues under the old ownership. But under new management, the company has completely fallen apart. We hired them to handle HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work for our basement finish, and the experience was an absolute nightmare. Here are just a few examples: 1. Multiple Failed Electrical Inspections Superior failed their electrical inspection twice. After the second failure, they tried to claim it "wasn't in the scope of their work" to correct the violations--thankfully, the electric inspector disagreed. 2. No Hot Water for an Entire Weekend During a Friday afternoon electrical job, they cut power to our water heater and left without checking their work. We had no hot water for the entire winter weekend. Best part - zero apologies. 3. Lazy, Substandard Workmanship We paid them to move a toilet rough-in. They poured the concrete back unevenly, leaving us unable to lay flooring without additional work. When I asked them to fix it, their response was: "We're not flooring guys--we don't have to lay cement flat." 4. Shower Door Bait-and-Switch They agreed to install our shower door and confirmed the model I texted them in December. Then in April, after the return window had closed, they backed out--refusing to install it and refusing to credit us for the work we had to outsource. 5. Lighting Errors and Surprise Charges At the start of the project, I showed the electrician exactly where I wanted lighting--he raised no concerns. During an electric inspection, we found that seven requested lights were never installed. When I raised the issue, Chris gave me a hand-drawn floor plan I'd never seen before, which didn't even match our actual basement layout, and claimed that's what the quote was based on. Then they billed us over $1,000 for the "extra" lights. When I pushed back, Chris shrugged it off with: "Well, someone should have shown this to you." 6. Suspicious, Incentivized Reviews Since the ownership change, Superior has been offering $25 gift cards in exchange for 5-star reviews. This should be a red flag if nothing else--trustworthy companies don't need to buy praise. And sadly, these are just the highlights. There were many more problems I didn't bother listing. Bottom line: this company is incompetent, dishonest, and completely unaccountable. Save yourself the stress--stay far away.

They charged her 30 dollars extra to clean a spot that needed extra attention. The guy didn't even put effort in to clean the spot in the living room, you can still see the spot the same as it was before he came out. The carpet after he left was so wet you could see puddles from your foot prints. They also advertise an offer of 10% off for seniors and he did not give her this even when she asked about it while he was writing up the invoice with her. Worst of all he opened her refrigerator without asking and tried to take a canned drink for himself and when my grandma said something about it and told him to get out of there he said "I need something to drink" and was rude about her not having a beverage for him after she offered him a glass of water and he said no to it. Not a pleasant experience from start to finish…read more Originally set an appointment for Friday between 2pm and 4pm. I know this was made for Friday because when I was on the phone making the appointment I remember them repeating back Thursday, saying "you mean Friday, right?" and them agreeing. I also told them we have 4 rooms to do and buy their 5 room package (one of our rooms is ~400 sq ft, and they cap a "room" as being 200 sq feet max, so that one counts as two). I mention we have a hallway connecting the rooms and they say they'll go ahead and do that too (two of our rooms are ~100 sq ft). I get called Wednesday and am told they'll be out on Thursday. I again say it was for Friday and am told they aren't available Friday. I'm not happy but agree since I just want to get this done. I get another call Thursday morning asking if we can move the appointment up to be sooner. We call back and leave a message saying we can do it after noon. I get called again an hour later and confirm we can do it between noon and 1pm. I'm told the cleaner will call ahead with the time they'll arrive. I get a call at 12:10pm from the cleaner asking me why I'm not home and that they've been waiting at my house for 10 minutes. There was no call telling me they were on their way or that they were going to arrive right at noon so I was running an errand. They sound very frustrated as though this was my fault for wasting their time. We have pets, and one of the main reasons for this cleaning to to take out pet and urine smells. Their website says they will deodorize your carpets and they list pet odor and urine stain removal as part of their service. When I arrive I find out the treatment for urine is an additional $0.36 sq. ft, which more than doubles the cost of the service. They do not list this or price this anywhere on their website, so I guess you only find out when they're already at your house. On top of that they charge an additional $15 for the hallway that I'd been told they'd just take care of, and the cleaner acts annoyed that I'm asking and trying to understand why the service has doubled in cost. They do pet odor and urine stain removal, but urine odor costs double, something that was mentioned by nobody and is not on their website anywhere. Their website explicitly states they have no extra or hidden fees. Not my experience. I received a call a few hours after asking how things went. The moment I started telling them the issues I had their tone changed and they couldn't get off the call fast enough. I would not recommend this company.
