When I reached out, they scheduled a service call combined with final inspection. The tech was great, made necessary adjustments to the coolant and fan. Equally important- he took the time to go through the features of the thermostat that I didn't understand before. Between the adjustments and new knowledge, I was cool and comfortable in no time. The tech was great at explaining how the system works, and even said we could call him directly with subsequent questions. I would absolutely recommend Standard.

They offered many financing options to choose from. When we agreed on an install date, Ben showed up in the morning. He explained what he was going to do per quote & got to work. He installed walking mats to protect the carpet & put in a long day. He started with the demo. We both remarked how quiet he was & we were both able to work upstairs. They pulled permits & had a separate gas guy and a couple of electricians to assist. When it was completed, they showed us what was done & how it operates. We ended up with 25 months same as cash financing & an extra year on the factory 10 yr. warranty for a total of 11 years! They left us with 3 extra filters too. The weren't the cheapest quote but we wanted someone who would be around in the future that we could count on if problems arose. I will highly recommend them to anyone that needs work. We looked around and read many reviews. We decided to contact Twin Cities Furnace Cleaning. They did not answer the phone right away but I received a call very quickly. I explained the situation and how we have some allergies, and they took the time to listen and go over all the details. They then recommended Steve who is the go-to guy when it comes to allergies as well as other things related. We set up an appointment with Steve, and Steve arrived early. He set up his equipment and was very mindful about making a mess as well as getting things dirty and wet. He took his time to explain as well as show me what was going on and answer all my questions. Because of allergies Steve took his time and made sure each vent was cleaned as best as possible. The things I saw in the ductwork were scary, which had built up over the years of this property. After he was done, we swapped the air filter and within 20 minutes of running, I could smell the difference in the air. The air felt lighter and did not have a heavy feel. Also, my air purifiers were not reading off the charts anymore. Steve did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend him as well as Twin Cities Furnace Cleaning. I ended up getting their Ultimate cleaning or whatever the highest one was, and compared to other places, it was cheap. The price you pay for what you get is a bargain. BEWARE: Independent contractors are used by this company who carry their own insurance. I had an…read moreunfortunate situation where a furnace drain hose was bumped out of place by one of this company's independent contractors causing a leak in my ceiling weeks before my house was to close to a new owner. My claim was declined. The insurance company required unrealistic things like a photo of the space prior to incident showing the hose in place. Who takes pictures of their furnace? This resulted in a costly last-minute repair to my ceiling. Essentially this means that you are at the mercy of a potential crappy insurance policy carried by the contractor and that the owner takes no personal responsibility for potential damage.

He gave us a good and fair quote, but more importantly quickly ordered the new furnace. Within 5 days, 4 guys, including both owners came at 7am. The old furnace, old central air unit {which needed to be replaced anyway} were removed and new units were installed by 11:30 am. The Carrier furnace is working fine and whisper quiet. All 4 guys were more than chatty, which was nice, People might want to consider a medium size company like this instead of just calling the giants right away. -Steve
