I told him what I thought needed to be done, and he offered advice as to what to trim/remove and what he advised not to. He and his crew arrived timely a couple of days later to perform the work. They were all polite and efficient. Two hours later, the job was done, including blowing all the debris off my driveway (which I hadn't even requested!). Their quote was completely in line with others I had obtained, and I was very satisfied with the work they had done. I will call Isai again if the need arises.

Jesse saved the tree's life by making it look balanced and directing the growth. He also carefully evaluated all of the other trees on our property and quickly identified one that was close to becoming girdled because of a band for labeling that had slipped below the soil and was now choking the tree. Jesse wrote down and prioritized a multi-year plan to remove diseased areas of some trees and trim others to promote better structure and cabling to prevent precarious limbs from falling. He seems to know everything about trees and explains his reasoning well. He also taught me why I should mulch the base of my trees and the proper way to place the mulch. Requested estimates on Yelp and received 5 with Green Leaves being the lowest. With no reviews on Yelp at the time, it was a little concerning but after communicating with Tommy, he eased those concerns. It turns out, Tommy and his crew do great work! The tree had a natural split near the bottom which was rotting so decided to have it completely removed. He arrived around 3pm and completed the work about 5 hours later. The work area was cleared of all debris and the stump ground and leveled out. His payment options include cash or credit card and once you are in agreement with the job and cost, he sends a contract for you to sign. In this case, he was actually able to start the works the next day even though the contract wasn't signed until late the previous night! Tommy was very flexible and great to work with from start to finish. I highly recommend him and his crew! Find his other reviews on Google.
