The philly sandwich they have is amazing. Melts in your mouth. The store is very well kept too.

One thing to keep in mind is that they can get very busy at night or on weekends, so the wait for a table can be pretty long. Also, during busy hours, a few of the items we ordered were missed, and we had to place the order again. Despite that, the experience was still good

Hi, my family and I ate here last night and we were all pretty disappointed in the service and the…read moremeal. We ordered the Hot Pot and Korean Bbq. For all 7 of us. The Premium Dinner. It was our first experience at a Hot Pot spot, so the server explained the menu and took our drink order. He also informed us where we could find the sauce bar (near the entrance) if we wanted sauces. Good. We ordered and received the Hot Pot bases and all of the toppings relatively quickly. The server turned on the bbq pit thing in the center of the table once the proteins arrived. Great! The table ordered Original, Miso, Kimchi (best favor), and Tom Thai. Most of the flavors were bland at best, except the Kimichi, which was too spicy for most of the table but it was tasty! Bc I was sharing a pot with someone that can't tolerate spicy, I didn't get that base. We tried the soup bases. Meh... Everyone added proteins and veggies to their soups. 6 out of 7 people were disappointed with the hot pots. The common complaint was "this doesn't have flavor." We had two 10 years that enjoyed watching the squid tentacles curl in the soup but not the soup, specifically bc it was bland. This was true for most of us at the table. The beef, chicken and pork all had a mild fishy taste but lacked beef, chicken, or pork flavor. I cooked the protein on the little table grill with chopsticks (we weren't provided with tongs) but again, no flavor. I went to the sauce bar for the table (I found the tongs there). We were told about the sauce bar but not about the tongs, which made my personal experience laborious bc I was one of two people decent with chopsticks at our table. Anyways, sauce bar. Got sauces. Sauces didn't help cover the fish taste. Nor did the sauce help the already cooked protein taste good. The ambiance was smoky, probably due to the grills on the table but of our guests had to leave bc the smoke gave him a headache. The started off nicely but as the meal progressed the server never came to refill drinks or inquire about our meal. He didn't provide recommendations to get the best experience and he didn't provide serving utensils. All in all, I don't recommend. I would like a refund but based on the lack of serve (especially knowing this was our first experience at a Hot Pot spot), I didn't feel comfortable saying anything and I didn't feel like being upset. We just decided to not return and leave a review. Passive, yes, but the experience remained underwhelming not overwhelming. ALSO, you get ice cream bars at the end of your meal! They didn't tell us that! But I saw so many other guests eating them and we were still hungry, I asked if they were included in our PREMIUM DINNER. Ice cream was included. No one told us until we asked. We spent close to $300 dollars for this meal and we received subpar serve and subpar fishy food. I don't recommend.

I am struggling between rating this 3 vs 4 stars. I will say my real rating is 3.5 stars, but I…read morewill give them 4 since Yelp still doesn't allow half stars. Overall verdict: give them a try. I assume we will be back. We love HuHot and have been disappointed that there's no HuHot anywhere in the Twin Cities. I found this place and thought it would be a good alternative. I was correct! While I wouldn't say it's better than HuHot, they do some things better. Such as gloves when you are picking your items from the buffet, and free chips and salsa (the salsa is awesome). However, I was nervous to come here due to some of the other reviews, and while I don't agree with all of the negative ones, some of them are correct. The free white rice is incredibly mushy and soggy. I didn't really like it. The pasta itself did end up a bit soggy compared to HuHot, but I still enjoyed it. I do wish they had a few more sauce options and recipes. The flavor was pretty good, but I do sort of agree with some other reviews that I wish there was more flavor. I would encourage you to use more sauce than you think. I also agree that the atmosphere feels slightly dirty/old. The whole place could use a very deep cleaning or remodel. I'm also very upset that they are passing the credit card fee on to customers. That actually gives me pause about potentially not going back more than anything else. However, I did enjoy my meal. So I would guess that we will be back. But due to the credit card processing fee, lack of sauces, and a feeling of uncleanliness, we won't be rushing back anytime soon.

Thinking about it, I haven't been here for about 20 years. The last time I was here was when I was…read morein college. It was a nostalgic experience. This place is pretty straight forward. You either choose one bowl ($25) or the unlimited option ($29). Your table will be automatically served wontons crisps and salsa. There are extra menu items you can order beyond the bowl - such as appetizers. You fill the bowl up with as much ingredients you can fit into that sucker and then bring it over to the chefs and they will cook it for you. As I began to fill my bowl, all the memories and techniques I learned came flooding back. Add your protein first. I choose beef and positioned the meat around the outside of my bowl so I could fit more items in it - give that a try. Add in whatever other proteins, veggies, and sauces you'd like and top off with the noodles. I added the dragon sauce to my dish and it was tasty, but I'm warning all my MN locals - beware the dragon sauce. I can handle a little heat, but the two scoops of that sauce had me sweating. I'd definitely go back, but I'd check to find if they have lunch offered at a lesser cost. In a big group, it will get spendy.

The pulled pork is so moist and tender. It's elevated to eye watering deliciousness with the addition of the Hmong Pepper Sauce..that sauce is amazing, and I could see putting it on everything. Even with the rain I said I still wanna check it out! Today they were located in the parking lot of Joe's Sporting Goods. It's hard to miss them given how big their red trailer is, you can clearly see the big grills mounted on the rear. They serve up your traditional BBQ eats but I did notice their Pulled Pork had different flavors which I wished I saw before ordering, definitely trying those out at a different time. But for today I decided on an order of Brisket and Beef Ribs with no sides. The Brisket looked pretty damn well made to me, the smoke rings were clearly visible. Then I took my fork and easily sliced through it like a hot knife through butter. And as I did I could see the lucious meat juices drip off my fork. I couldn't wait to place it into my mouth. Once I did I was in love with it. So so tender and a good smoke flavor to it, not overpowering. As for the Beef Ribs, they were big and flavorful! Easily fall off the bone and amazing juicy! Besides the meat I also got a side of their Spicy BBQ, and I have to say I liked it a lot, probably my new favorite BBQ sauce! I was suprised at the smokey character of the sauce that prevents it from being too sweet. It had enough spice that I could taste the heat but it was nothing no one can handle. I am glad they gave me 3 dipping cups of that BBQ sauce, gladly dip or paint it on any meat I get. This truck is another winner for me and I am so glad to see lots of Hmong food trucks popping up making outrageously good food! Also the owners are friendly and provide good service. Like previously stated I can't wait to give their flavored pulled pork a try!

That's decent food. We went shopping across the road and I think within 15 minutes got a text our table was ready. So that was a pleasant surprise. The ambience was great. This is a clean classy place. It looked expensive but I was.... I mean my WIFE was all in and Happy Wife, Happy Life so yeah..... we're going for it. Service was well.... it was over the top. The wait staff and others all chipped in to watch the tables. Different people filled our water, brought us more bread, brought out food out when it was ready, picked up our dishes. It was a TEAM effort and it showed. Service was outstanding. My wife ordered the Salmon Sofia. Not sure what that is exactly and I don't care. It's salmon. To me, it's gonna taste bad no matter how great you prepare it but she said she loved it and would definitely get it again. I had the Italian Pasta if I remember correctly. Slightly spicy cajun pasta with sausage, chicken, shrimp, peppers and onions. It was amazing! There was quite a bit of it in the bowl. My wife says, "Wow, that's a lot. You'll have some to take home!" But I'm no quitter. If the food is good, i'm finishing it. And i'm happy to report that i did finish it. It was really good. I did not however get to try the mountain sized carrot cake. I really wanted some of that but I was too full. Oh, the bread. The bread was not warm and it was different than what i thought, but by the time i finished my 7th piece, I really liked it. All in all this was a very nice meal, perfect for a date night.
