All in breakfast burrito
Rachael S.

Ham's boasts made to order sandwiches in a small and unassuming strip mall store front. I struggle to find excellent breakfast burritos in MN, but Ham's is solid. And massive! There were no utensils in sight, so my cross section photo leaves much to be desired but the burrito certainly delivered. Scrambled eggs, potatoes, shredded cheese and green peppers and onions are mixed with a generous portion of perfectly scrambled eggs, ample ham and a few bits of sausage. The flour tortilla is warm and soft and doesn't come apart easily. It's accompanied by a little cup of hot sauce which has a nice kick while letting the contents of the burrito shine. I would say it's not a sit down place, more grab and go. The staff is friendly and you can tell they are making everything on the spot. Will be back to try their sandwiches.

Nice over the counter sandwich store. No frills, fair prices, and quality food. The staff was very kind, and the service was quick. Convenient location with plenty of parking.

Turkey Club Panini

I needed a quick lunch in Minnetonka and this hit the spot!! I had a turkey club Panini. It comes with bacon and pesto, so yummy and the ingredients were fresh! Only wish is that it was pressed a little longer for darker bread. Otherwise perfect! Their prices are beyond reasonable. Most sandwiches are around $10! They have a large variety, and sides as well. It definitely gives off a small family run business vibe. Plenty of seating or carry out! The staff were super super friendly. Make sure to stop in and support!!

Make your own pastrami sandwich

I'm going to give this place 5 stars because they make. darn good sandwiches. The pastrami sandwich was excellent but I was expecting hot pastrami. It never occurred to me that it would be served cold. I don't know if they serve hot sandwiches. The next time I'll ask. I asked for hot peppers but they substituted jalapeños. Yes, jalapeños are hot peppers but why have hot peppers on your menu if you don't differentiate? On my hot pastrami scale of 1 to 10 they get a 1 but only because it just isn't right to give a cold pastrami anything higher no matter how good it is.

The Godfather

We happened upon this place while heading to St Cloud and I happened to see the sign from the freeway. I looked it up (because we do a lot of that on our road trips) and their menu looked terrific so we decided to stop for lunch there on our way back. The restaurant itself has a handful of booths and some tables but probably leans more to takeout. So let's talk about the food... specifically the sandwiches....Yummy!! First of all their menu has some terrific sandwiches listed and offers cold and hot sandwiches. They have classics like Egg salad/Chicken Salad/Ham Salad all the way to very creative types. You can also Build-Your-Own and choose everything just the way you want it which is terrific! As far as the ingredients go we were very impressed with the quality of the ingredients! Very fresh and great quality from the meats and cheese to the bread and toppings. The flavor was terrific and we loved our choices. I had the Godfather and my husband had the Grilled Italian Club. Honestly both were quite tasty!! We also got a Ranch Pasta Salad (good but needed a bit more flavor) and coleslaw (creamy and fresh tasting). We definitely will be back to try more of their sandwiches!!

This is my favorite place to stop by for lunch while at work! At first, the place didn't appeal to me. Many coworkers hyped this place up, but I'd think... "a sandwich shop? Umm okay" Wow! I can't believe I thought it would be like subway or Jimmy johns (no offense to them) but wow, again. This place is AMAZING! My favorite sandwich to get is el diablo, I had heard about fire in belly so I got that today but diablo is still my #1. Sandwich is warm, quality meats and simple yet delicious ingredients added. Give this spot a chance! I promise you won't regret and you'll be just as surprised as I was.

From Russia with Love

I wish there was a 4.5 star option on here cause this place was just short of perfection. Don't get me wrong I definitely will be going back again - but there a just some small things that kept them just under a 5 (in my eyes). It's a no frills sandwich place with quality at a good price - they know they're good at whipped together a solid sandwich and that's what matters to them! We grabbed two sandwiches for takeout around 11:30 for lunch (we ordered ahead and the food was hot when we got it even once we started to eat). It wasn't busy inside but there were definitely a decent number of people arriving as we left. See below for the items we had: From Russia with Love - I think of this as a bit of a twist on a "Rachel" (Ruben with Turkey), it had Turkey, avocado, pickles, Russian dressing, and pepper Jack. There was just the faintest but of heat and was a great sandwich! Only downside was the bread was a bit soft / didn't necessarily hold up (but that could have been because of it being takeout) Cubano - a solid cubano in the Cities! Good mustard and pickle amount (could use a bit more ham maybe) and the bread was perfect for it Potato Salad - not our thing, maybe we were expecting a more classic potato salad like what we make - but I can definitely see how this would be right up some folks ally We also got a bag of chips and two Rice Krispies (not pictured). But Rice Krispies were clearly homemade and I think that seems to be true for a lot of their stuff - if they can make it instead of buy it, they will (pickles and some sauces on the sandwiches also seemed to be homemade). And that alone is enough of a reason to keep coming back!

Doesn't look like much when you walk in, all the seating is closed due to COVID. But the very friendly out going staff and delicious sandwich make up for that . I got the Hot Italian sandwich. Everything you'd want in an Italian hot sub. Crisp hot good bread, savory sauces and plenty of meat. Very very good.

Train Wreck
Michele B.

I love this little Sammy spot hidden in a strip mall. Their ingredients are top notch! All the flavors are so good! Some of the combos are whack! The Train Wreck is so ridiculous. The sandwich has lovely flavors with garlic mayo, ham, turkey, & cheese then blammo they throw taco meat and shredded cheddar on that French roll. What?! I didn't love it , but it was an interesting experience. I liked the IHG better. I still need to try the El Diablo. But honestly you can't go wrong choosing your own adventure. The ingredients are all fresh and delicious just pick your favorite. Don't forget to check into Yelp for your free drink! What a great check in gift! Perfect for lunch in the Western burbs!

Breakfast menu. The All-In burrito is amazing!

Sandwich was good but the dining area hasn't been given any attention in years - not inviting. Grab a sandwich and go!

Tried the All-In Burrito and The Godfather. All in burrito was good but could have used more seasoning. The Godfather was outstanding.

Indifferent counter person, utterly average sandwich. A fifth grader would have done better.

Today I tried their Roast Beef on Weck, which is carved roast beef on a type of roll called a Weck (a Kaiser-style roll topped with coarse salt and caraway seeds.). The restaurant was busy, and this is not a trendy place! I'd be surprised if there was anyone in the restaurant who was not of Medicare age (which also describes me; I'm not being ageist, just truthful). This is something that is available for lunch, during the week (not on weekends). Previously, I wanted to order this before. It was at the beginning of the lunch hour, so unfortunately the end pieces were cooked well-done. I asked if they would cut from the center, which is much more rare, but they wouldn't do that. This time, we came later and I could see that the roast beef was gloriously rare, which is what I like. The sandwich was quite enjoyable because it was juicy and flavorful. It comes with a side of cole slaw which is vinegar based (which I liked, but isn't traditional in the Midwest). It's difficult to find good, rare roast been in the Twin Cities, so this was another good find. My wife had the matzo ball soup, which remains high quality. The beef on weck sandwich (with coleslaw) was nearly $20, which is a bit on the expensive side. The service is spotty. It depends upon who is your waitstaff person (I knew it would be slow based on our previous experience with this person).
