I love how they bag each of your purchases in a reusable cloth bag (great for grocery shopping in your sexy new jeans!) and take the time to come around the cash counter to hand you your goods personally. And the jeans. I don't know why I didn't get into Mavi sooner in life, but I sure am glad I've discovered them now. They fit great, they come in a myriad of styles and - best of all - they REALLY won't cost you an arm and a leg. Every pair I've bought cost me under $100. So long $300 R&Rs - hello Mavi!

At first, it seemed minor and I assumed it was normal wear. However, by November 2025, I had to replace the jacket because the zipper failed completely and would no longer zip up. I repurchased the same style because I genuinely liked the jacket. Unfortunately, on just the third wear, I started seeing an excessive amount of feathers all over my clothing. Since then, the feather loss has only gotten worse. To make matters more frustrating, the zipper on this replacement jacket has also failed. Both jackets were purchased intentionally with room to layer underneath, so fit was not an issue. At this point, the jacket is essentially unwearable due to severe down leakage and repeated zipper failure. It's disappointing, but I can now understand why this particular jacket is frequently on sale -- the quality simply isn't there.

Fifteen minutes, a few hundred calories, and a quick Yelp search later, I found myself standing inside of their beautiful Gastown store. First, it's hard not to be smitten by the space itself. Wood, brick, and steel seem to be Gastown staples, and this space blends the materials beautifully. At the same time though, cascading wall plants and some strategically placed trees make the space feel cozy. Factor in the ridiculously comfortable sofa near the dressing rooms, and you just might find yourself inquiring about a sublet. As for the main event, the clothing, the styles are mostly classic (with some welcome twists), the fabrics look and feel expensive, and the cuts are on the slimmer side. You can find everything from t-shirts and chinos to formal suits and sneakers (and pretty much everything in between). And the best part - the prices are actually reasonable. I have to give much deserved kudos to the wonderful staff, who made my shopping experience enjoyable from start to finish. Their patience and assistance while I seemingly tried on everything in the store was greatly appreciated. One final tidbit, make sure to enroll in their rewards program, which gives you back 4% of your in-store purchase for next-time. The credit never expires, and is stored electronically in their computer system for your convenience.

Me being an old dude, I'm use to shopping at GAP where the staff are smiling and super friendly despite on the stupidity of my questions. In this store, I got a blank look when I asked for helped, as if like a regular dude like me don't have clothing questions. The staff was unsure on what products were in promotion which is fine, if I was in their place I wouldnt remember either. It wasn't all that bad, but I just got a negative vibe from the staff almost as if they were lifeless and annoyed. Essentially, Frank and Oak staff in this store really need to smile and greet customers as if they like being there. No attitudes despite on shitty the day is going. The atmosphere in the place felt very snotty which does not make a good shopping experience. I have been a regular consumer of Lululemon since their flagship store opened in Vancouver in 2014…read more That ended today. I'll tell you why.... The first time I bought their short tennis style skirt was back in 2023. I ordered another one online in white, and when it arrived I took it in store to get a different size, even though the size I ordered was my size and the black I already had was that same size...strange. I wore the black one I have had for two years and is a size 10 into the store to exchange the new one that had arrived. I asked service why the one that was shipped was so tight as it is my size and the same I'm currently wearing....they didn't know and suggested that since their products were manufactured in different countries they are not always aligned in terms of style and size....wow..really?? He suggested that he grab me one from the store and compare. Brought over my size but it was not nearly the same quality or look. It had strange lines in the fabric. The manager came over and was puzzled why two identical products look so different. One was manufactured in Vietnam and the other in Thailand. So, really depending on which country ships your product is which quality you'll be getting. I felt generous and decided to give them one more chance. I ordered a size up online with the clerk. Today it arrived and it was a disaster (see pic.) Extremely poor quality, strange flawed lines in the fabric randomly inconsistent, and it comes packaged heavily wrinkled, which is a bit of a problem, because you can't iron this product. I went back to the store for the second time and returned it. Even their in-store products upon touch you can feel it just isn't the same premium quality anymore. Thinner, cheaper, rougher material. Quite a few times I've seen in store products that are dirty or stained. Nothing like picking up a shirt or tank top with someone's deodorant stain to gross you out. Attention to detail and floor management needs serious attention. The staff are friendly but in my book dirty merchandise on hangers trumps staff smiles to drive me away. So, really they are now selling you lesser quality but still for the same premium price. I mean just the fact that they put their name on products that are manufactured in random places that there's no guarantee of consistency and quality representing the brand....just blows my mind. I think my local dollar store has more of a compass when it comes to product management. Writing this actually makes me a little sad, because I remember what Lululemon used to be like. Consistent, un-compromised high quality athletic wear. Ever since Chip Wilson left the quality went to Hell. 11 years I have been a Lululemon customer. Their non-existent quality control measures, inconsistency and poor manufacturing cost them my decade of business today.
