Every time I visit from California, my son and I stop in at Maverick. I buy scratcher and we get a fountain drink. I like the selection of scratchers available and bonus...we usually win! My son says he likes Maverick because of the ice for fountain drinks. The store is always clean and well stocked and the people behind the counter, nice and friendly. This store is the kind of store you just want to take some time and browse around in. Unfortunately I have never done that. When we stop in we are usually on our way to another destination and the timing didn't work. I really need to browse in this store sometime. read more

Wanted something cool before going to the park. The 90 degree weather was hot, hot, hot. Drove up and wandered through the aisles looking at drink options. Snacks too. Their restrooms were clean and didn't smell. Bonus! Ended up with a Dragon's Blood flavored iced drink. He got a soda. Got checked out by the cashier. I found the blend it yourself milkshake and protein drinks a cool concept. And the self checkout register is nice if you're in a hurry. read more

This review is for the Maverik at the Dacono exit opposite the gas station Good to Go. LADIES BEWAR3!!!!! It was 2am Monday morning and I needed to use their ladies room. As I drove up I noticed a male Maverik worker, in uniform, walk out of the ladies room. When I went inside, I asked if he was cleaning it? He said no. Just getting toilet paper! So as I proceeded to enter, he came behind me with two rolls of toilet paper. I looked at him as if to say, you are not coming in here with me, so I will wait. Instead he said there was toilet paper in the middle stall and turned around and walked away. Just for the record, there was toilet paper in the 3 rd stall also. I went in to the middle stall and the next thing I knew the door opens and someone went in to the 1st stall. So I said, did you come in here anyway or is it a female next to me. He says no it is me, if you are uncomfortable, I will leave. Feeling threatened because he never should have been in there to begin with. I rushed., washed my hands and walked out and said to him' 'since when are men allowed in the ladies room?" He mumbled something. Now I will not go to any Maverik and I will tell everyone about this incident. This crap needs to stop in this country!!!!!!! This guy needs to be fired! read more

Yes it is a GAS Station. But this Gas Station tickle us fancy coz for one its HUGE. Aka FREAKING HUGE. Its like going to a Mini Amusement Park itself. Yes it was pretty busy when we got there. There have like a "SLURPEE" aka "CHILLER" or ICE CREAM MAKER Counter aka "BOOTH" inside. I wish I could just chill out in this Gas Station but we need to be back home. Nevertheless, I like this Gas Station. The Washroom was indeed kept clean. The person who handled the transaction behind the counter, his name is Bob. All in all a DECENT Gas Station, in which we don't mind returning when needed if we are in this neighborhood. @197/2013 read more

Nice station and usually ok prices don't know how good their gas is and have noticed a lot when gas prices go up they rise them quickly and when they drop they are the SLOWEST BY FAR to lower their prices don't keep pace with everyone else... will only use this station if I HAVE too! read more

You are required to get credit card approval with cashier no matter what. Don't go here. People stealing gas is now an inconvenience for regular patrons regardless. read more

I have lived in the area for just over 3 years. I would normally stop at Einstein's, Loaf & Jug, Maverick, or any one of the other coffee shops nearby, first thing in the morning. However,  over the last several months, I have only come to Maverick for my morning coffee. There is a young man that works there named Griffin. The first time I saw him at the store, he was very friendly and we chatted for maybe a minute or so - just small chit-chat,  since there were no customers behind me. The next time I was in the store, he remembered me and greeted me like he knew me. So I introduced myself and he told me his name. I have started going to Maverick every morning for coffee, because I know someone is there that is going to be friendly. That sounds mighty 'needy' of me. LOL But it's true. First thing in the morning, before I have had a cup, it is nice to go somewhere I know I am going to feel 'at home' because of the friendly clerks. Both Doug and Spencer, now also greet me by name every morning.  All 3 young men are great people and I was hoping they might get acknowledged for their good job. It's a gas station folks. I think it's one of the nicer ones I've been to! It is very large and fairly clean to boot. The gas prices are very competitive and I try to stop here when I'm in town. It's off the main drag, but not too far from the Outlets and I like that. Loss of one star as the ladies room needed attention and the employees were standing around gossiping. read more

The store's Pepsi fountain is out and so is the iced tea. Seems to be normal. The weekend crew is extremely LAZY. They really need better management. It seems that when they get a decent manager, he(she) gets relocated. read more

I avoid all over gas stations wherever I travel because I only like to fill-up at Maverik! Become part of their rewards program, it's easy, it's not a credit card, and it can give you a sweet discount at the pump! If you sign up for punch-it rewards, anything you buy in the store can get you some freebies as well! I've never heard of this gas station before until it popped up in my home-town, and ever since I've been there I love it! Great in-house prepared food, great selection, extremely friendly staff. Truly the best place around town to fuel up in every sense of the word. read more

The staff there is slow, especially the morning crew. i know it's gas station food and you get what you pay for, but I had higher hopes for quality for a decent quick breakfast on the go. Half the time they have the items for breakfast half the time they don't. The employees there are slow at ringing up customers and the AM shift manager might want to supervise his crew better. Over all staff quality is better at the loaf n jug up the road just 1/2 mile. read more

The store is great, the employees are great, especially management. Corporately these stores are very poorly run but the managers and employees at Maverik are extremely friendly, helpful, and hard working. read more

Good morning last week I had an interview with Naomi she pretty much said I got the job they were waiting for the new manager to come over to the store and they would give me my hours/do paperwork I did not hear from Naomi for four days I called her Monday morning June 18th she told me the position has already been filled but earlier that morning my friend went in to apply Naomi was talking about me she even mentioned my name to my friend she said I was going to hire this one girl but she's kind of nerdy she wouldn't fit in here. that is very mean I am a hard worker 35 just bought my first house in the Meadows I'm reliable I live less than 5 miles away from the Castlerock store I just wanted a chance to prove how dedicated and hard I work I'm very bubbly always want to make sure customers are leaving happy I come into this Maverick once a day because you guys are so close to my house and now I'm in barest to even come in there this is high school stuff going on in your store I just wanted to make money for my family I guess I will find a different job read more

The owner Jon is a customer service pro, and runs a damn good business. It's impossible to walk out of there without a smile :)

This gets 2 stars becasue it's new and clean. It has a tiny selection of goods and often not enough help to get you on your way quickly. It could easily be soo much better. read more

Love it here, all my friends walk here and get snacks and shakes before Castle View games. Its huge with a wide variety of things and very reasonable prices, which is rare in a gas station. Gas prices started off the lowest in town, are about average now but lowering week by week. Great location, kept very clean, love the art on the interior and decorations, definitely gives the Colorado vibes :) read more
