I could tell they knew what they were doing when we conversed getting a quote... and when it was time to get the job done, it went pretty smoothly. There was a small hiccup at the completion of the job but they came right back to finish/fix it up... (probably would have noticed it if we did a final walk through, but I think we had just left the house). Before contacting this company, I had reached out to many other companies and without success. As mentioned in other reviews, my roofing project was a smaller one, so no other company wanted to touch it. Either they were too busy or my project was too small for them. So I had very low expectations when I called Maverick and spoke to Greg. To my surprise, he was open to helping me with my project (even though they were extremely busy), and he even came out to do an estimate. Greg was an absolute pleasure to work with, his prices were very reasonable, and he delivered on his promise. Note, summer is the busiest time for all roofing companies, so my only advice is to schedule your roofing project before or after summer (if you're timeline is flexible). This will ensure a higher probability of getting on their schedule; especially if it is for an entire roof replacement. read more

Not a review on their work. Very nice on the phone. We set an appt for the following week but didn't show at the time agreed upon. Greg texted 30 mins later asking for an hour later the appt time and I asked him to call my wife once he got there. His response was "will do". He was a no call no show for that later time. We waited till 2 hours after the time and still no word. I texted him again and still no response. All good if you guys are busy and don't have time but it'd be better to communicate that. I had a great experience with Maverick Roofing and would recommend them to friends and neighbors. We ended up needing a complete tear-off of the roof, and replacement with new decking as well as shingles. We got about 4-5 quotes and all of the estimates were pretty much in the same ballpark. We decided to choose Maverick Roofing because Greg was so approachable and honest in answering our questions. For example, we had a lot of questions about roof ventilation options, and he was open to talking about all of them. Some roofers seemed to want to stick to their roofing routine and did not want to talk about ventilation options that were not part of their routine. He was also straightforward in answering questions and did not engage in any slick talk. He was also very responsive to our calls, texts, and emails. We are also grateful for his eye for detail. He had asked us about rain gutters, which we didn't give any thought about except that we didn't want the "rain gutter" look at our entry. But he was concerned about how the rain would waterfall at our entry, so he showed us how we could have a rain gutter without the "rain gutter" look, which we are very happy with. (We ended up with a straight, smooth sided rain gutter that integrates smoothly with the fascia and a rain chain instead of a downspout.) After they were done, we had a beautiful new roof! Greg came with his team and they worked on time with the schedule they told me to expect. Emergency call to Maverick after coming home from the holiday and seeing the heater exhaust pipe was leaking water into the heater! Gregory answer and gave me a quote immediately. Came this morning and deadlier the silicone flashing on the heater exhaust and another pipe he noticed had old flashing. He even refused payment for such a small fix. Had to force it on him. Greg came out and gave an estimate on our leaky, enclosed patio roof. The price was very fair compared to the other roofing companies that came out. He explained all his recommendations in detail and answered any questions we had. It's been over a month now since the install and it has rained a few times. I purchased 2 properties that needed extensive work and out of all of the vendors (contractors, plumbers, electricians, drywall), they are the only folks to do what they said they would do, in the time frame that they said (in fact, I think they completed ahead of schedule), for the price they said they would do it.
