This is a great place to get Invisalign and braces done! I just started my Invisalign treatment with him and my niece is also in treatment for braces phase one and we are all thrilled! Dr. Maurice Simanian is not only knowledgeable and passionate, but he also listens to patient's needs. I've had braces before when I was in high school and my retainer and I didn't really get along lol I really appreciate that he put the time to walk me through the entire treatment plan to make sure I'm happy with the result and understand what the plan is. I also need to add that his team is super sweet and efficient as well. They scanned my teeth, so no more goopy impressions! Pretty high tech! There is tons of parking and it's so easily accessible! Dr. Simanian is the best orthodontist in East bay hands down! His office is super clean and the staff is always extremely accommodating and friendly. He always has a smile and goes above and beyond to accommodate his clients. He's incredibly knowledgeable and knows what he's doing. My two oldest kids had their orthodontic treatment done at this office when Dr. Williams was there. Half way through my 13 year old's treatment, Dr. Simanian took over and we were a bit nervous, as we were so used to Dr. Williams and extremely happy with him for years. I have to say that Dr. Simanian picked up where Dr. Williams left off and he is just as amazing. He's friendly, knowledgeable and and thoroughly addresses any questions and/or concerns you might have. In addition to Dr. Simanian, the office staff is always friendly and you rarely wait longer than 5-10 minutes to be seen, if not immediately. The Sunvalley Orthodontics office will have you smiling from the moment you walk in until the moment you walk out. Not just because they performed an outstanding job and met my expectations with regards to my dental needs, but because Dr. Maurice Simanian and his team of professionals go above and beyond to create a positive, comfortable, and fun experience. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by the front desk assistant who added some humor to put us at ease before meeting with the doctor. The office looks warmly furnished and I mention this because it shows how the team pays attention to detail patient satisfaction. Upon meeting with Dr. Maurice, he checked my teeth out (I will never forget this) he gave me a mirror to look at my teeth with and asked me to point out what I saw that was "wrong" about them, and I pointed out 3 things, and he told me to keep looking at my teeth and we found like 5+ things that were actually very obvious and quite noticeable after he pointed them out!! I thought to myself, whoa! This guy really knows his stuff! He threw out some options and gave me his best advice and I felt like I learned a lot from that one visit. Dr. Maurice Simanian is very personable and quite the comedian, I found myself thinking I wish I was an Orthodontist too! Parents- this seems to be a great place to bring you children especially for braces. The young kids I saw seemed to have fun while they were there, and the ones getting their braces off looked perfect! He gave me some options for clear braces or Invisalign. What great plans and reasonable. Most important, he was confident to turn my lifelong crooked smile to a work of art! PRICING- they work with you on all levels. If you have insurance, excellent. Being a new patient, I wasn't sure if they would take me, but upon calling, the receptionist made me feel like they would always have time for me. We always had a great experience at Sunvalley Orthodontics, initially with Robin Williams, and then with Dr. Simanian who took over. However, I've just come to find out that this business is closed! We received no notification whatsoever. My daughter was on schedule to do the second phase of her braces, and my son his first phase. In trying to make an appointment, there was no active phone number. What happens to all my kids records that they kept? I'm really disappointed there wasn't at least a postcard saying "we are closing x date please contact us for further information" or anything of that nature. Disappointing.
