DJ Dustin did an amazing job at our wedding! From start to finish, he kept everything running smoothly and on schedule, including our toasts, speeches, first dance, and all the other important moments throughout the evening. He made sure all of our requested songs were played, and we also gave him the freedom to read the crowd and choose music that would keep people on the dance floor and he absolutely delivered! Amazing dj! I hired Maui DJ Services for our Maui destination wedding. They helped create a perfect wedding evening for us. They were referred to us by our wedding planner at the ANDAZ hotel in Wailea. My husband and I are in our 50s and this was a second wedding, so I wanted to make sure we had the right music for our guests which were of many eras! We had a planning call with Kurt and he listened to my concerns. He absolutely nailed the music. He was able to "read the room" and created an amazing energy throughout the night. I got so many compliments on the music. He was a perfect host/MC as well and helped the timeline of our wedding stay on perfect track. Additionally, it was very easy to communicate with them during our planning stages. They returned emails promptly and laid out everything clear and simple. I would highly recommend Maui DJ services. We used Maui DJ Services for both our ceremony sound system & DJ for our wedding ceremony and reception, and would recommend them whole heartedly without hesitation! During the initial communication and planning process, Scott was extremely quick to respond and easy to work with. He made the sound & DJ portion of our wedding one of the easiest and most seamless to plan. At our wedding itself, everything went perfectly, and DJ Jesse kept the dance floor packed all night! Our only regret was that the music was so good that we literally didn't leave the dance floor and missed dessert! Best DJ services on the island, hands down! read more

Dustin was our wedding DJ and the preparation website that we were provided to fill out was quite well done. We were able to specify songs and go through a questionnaire for the general vibe of the music we were interested in, and coordinate with Dustin for the choreographed dance timing. The sound setup was perfect and Maui DJ Services worked together with our venue to have the arrangements be ideal. I was really happy everything went off without a hitch. We had just about everyone attending at the dancefloor at one point and we couldn't have done it without Dustin's energy and skill as a DJ. read more

I can't tell you how many of our guests came up to us during the event (both reception and after party) and commented on how good the music/DJ was. We had a bit of an eclectic mix of music ranging from 2000s pop punk to 'oldies' and they made it flow perfectly. Energy was high and maintained throughout the event - 5 hours of dancing. Live saxophone for after party (Scott) was unreal and learned several requested songs. Photobooth & uplights at after party were on point and we got exactly the vibe we wanted. After being left out to dry by another DJ, Maui DJ Services came to our rescue. Just from the few communications at the very beginning, I knew Maui DJs would not disappoint. Communications were always professional, transparent, and informative. Not to mention their intuitive and easy to use client portal where we added all of our must plays and guests could make requests. Fast forward to our wedding day where DJ Jesse J ran up a fat hill in Kula to meet my new husband and me for a private check in. He was sweating and breathing hard while congratulating us with excitement and the biggest smile on his face. I immediately felt full and warm when he mentioned he was being well taken care of by the aunties who brought him pupus at the stand. Long story short, DJ Jesse J COOKED as an MC and DJ . He kept the vibe high and the dance floor going all night long. Luckily, the venue had a strict curfew because they would've had to drag us out if not. Thank you for everything Jesse J and Maui DJ Services. Until we meet again!!!! Maui DJ Services - The vibe - DJs Near Me - Kihei, Hawaii

I had a small destination wedding in Maui and planned my whole wedding out of state/without a planner and coordinator. From the initial inquiry, Maui DJ Services/Scott was professional, quick to respond, answered all my questions clearly, and proved to be very trustworthy. They responded to my many questions in a very timely manner and never made me feel like I was asking too many questions or bothering them. Their planning system is very detailed and made me feel like I could 100% trust them to understand my wedding day vision, especially as a Type A bride. I am very impressed by their attention to detail and willingness to let you customize every aspect of the timelines/music. I created the playlists and chose specific songs for all the different parts of the day and was very specific for what I wanted with the music. Their system allows you to fully customize what you want pairing specific songs to moments of the day and creating playlists, from your Spotify, that they will play as you want. I made a playlist for our pre-ceremony music, cocktail hour, dinner, cake serving, and the dance party. They will actually use the songs you give them, some DJ's want to play their own stuff or just take your playlists as "suggestions." I loved that we also could create a "Do Not Play List" because I had a lot of songs I did not want played. All of the songs played at our wedding came directly from the playlists I created and tracked in their system and I was so appreciate/grateful for that. Our sound technician for the ceremony and DJ for our wedding reception was Jesse, and he was absolutely incredible. Jesse went out of his way to find me and introduce himself to me before the ceremony which was so nice, because I had a few questions that came up day of that he was able to reassure me before the ceremony. Jesse perfectly executed our vision and paid attention to all the details/timing that I wanted included. Jesse has such a good vibe/energy about him that he brings on the wedding day that I can't explain! We had a few hiccups (our cake was not delivered/ready to be cut when it was supposed to be which messed up our timeline) Jesse was so good about not causing me extra stress about it. He came up with a plan that he ran by me and it all worked out perfectly. He was invested in making sure our day went smoothly and perfectly and I appreciated how much he cared about our day. He brought the energy with the crowd and was such good vibes. I truly could not have asked for a kinder/better DJ. Jesse truly made our day. The whole company is amazing and when you book them, know that you can trust them to execute your day, with or without a planner. They are phenomenal. Thank you Maui DJ Services + Jesse!!!! -Jenna and Seth read more

First and foremost I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Scott Duran and his incredible team! We just had our wedding nuptials at the Ritz Carlton in Maui on 9-4-22. It was a little bit nerve-racking not knowing if the DJ would be able to grasp the vibe of a German-Latina wedding. What a combo, right? In my opinion that is an incredibly tall order! Truth be told, we couldn't be happier with the music selection and the fact that he totally nailed it! We requested mariachi music, 90s hip-hop, and A splash of everything in between! He was able to read the crowd and the dance floor was NEVER empty! Thank you for making this evening a memorable fun filled event!!! read more

We had booked Maui DJ Services through our wedding planner and the team was so through. There is a convenient portal to fill out all our must play song requests, as well as any special songs (first dance, bouquet toss, etc.). Throughout the night, our wonderful DJ ran with what the crowd was feeling and honored all of our guest requests! My husband and I were recently married at Westin Maui Resort & Spa on September 28th. Jesse was absolutely fantastic - the portal to add music was simple and easy to use, and you could even add your own music if it wasn't something already in their rolodex. My goal was to keep the dance floor hot the entire night - and saying that Maui DJ services delivered, was an understatement!! Nobody left the dance floor until curfew hit and I am still receiving compliments on how great the music was. Outside of the dancing, Jesse was extremely communicative during speeches, first dances and other transitions. We are so grateful to have Jesse and team make our day even more special. Originally we were going to just rent speakers for Maui DJ Services and my fiance was going to do a DJ mix for our wedding himself, since he used to DJ. However, after a family tragedy hit us only a month before the wedding and we both got covid, it became clear that we needed help. Scott and his team were so helpful and willing to work with us last minute to upgrade our speaker rental to the full DJ package. We were so relieved to have DJ Kurt Kaiser come on board and knew he was going to do great from our first meeting with him. He was so kind, compassionate, and told us how he'd even take care of moving things along with announcements so we could just sit back and enjoy our day. When the day finally came we were so so happy that we decided to book the full DJ package. Kurt did an amazing job integrating a lot of unique songs that we requested and mixing in requests on the fly. Plus, the DJ dance floor lighting was so much fun and we decided to include some uplighting that really made the night special. Huge thanks to the team over there! They really saved the day and made it even more magical! read more

We had the time of our lives at our wedding last week, and we are so grateful to have had Jesse from Maui DJ Services as our DJ! He was so kind, detail-oriented, and FUN! He introduced himself to us before everything started and made sure he had our last name pronounced correctly. That meant so much! He read the crowd so well and the dance floor wasn't empty even once all night! I didn't want to leave the dance floor even for a drink because that's where the party was at all night. Everyone raved about our DJ. Michelle was also great- she did our ceremony sound. Overall, amazing experience with Maui DJ Services. Also loved the portal they provide you access to input songs and moments to be announced. This was so helpful! Maui DJ Services well exceeded our expectations. From the planning phase to the reception, the service we received was second to none. Scott was very responsive throughout the whole process. The planning phase was seamless. We provided our playlist and "special" songs without problems. DJ Jesse absolutely killed it at the reception. He was professional, friendly, and responsive to the crowd. Our playlist was played sprinkled with Jesse's style. The dance floor was never empty thanks to Jesse being on the 1s and 2s. We also had the photobooth service from Strike a Pose Maui and it was a hit as well. The photos turned out great and had great props to use. The printouts are high quality. The digital download option was a plus. If you are on the fence about Maui DJ Services and another company, look no further. Your wedding will be in great hands with Scott and team. DJ Shanalle was one of the best surprises during our wedding day. My husband and I follow the EDM world when it comes to the love of music. That is not the only genre we love so we had very well rounded music at the wedding however EDM is what our relationship is based off of. When passing by her table earlier in the night, I took a moment to thank her for her services and that's when she asked me if we ever went to a festival. Our playlist gave her a clue. I mentioned we had gone to Mexico the December prior for Holy Ship and that's when everything changed. She was there too! If you don't know much about the world, Shipfam is what we know each other by. I had SHIPFAM as my DJ for my wedding and it was a complete and total accident! What a small world we live in and we could not have asked for a more perfect DJ. She understood us in an instant and it was a wedding gift that I will never forget. If you love the world, she's your DJ with Maui DJ Services. She was also amazing at taking cues in the moment. Even if you aren't in that world, she was an amazing wedding DJ and I would recommend her to anyone. The software they had me use to input requests was amazing. Super easy and useful. I didn't have more emails to send or papers to pass by hand in order to make the perfect day. This is a great company and the owner was great about giving information prior to the wedding. I cannot wait to cross paths again with our amazing wedding DJ in the musical world we live in. read more
