While in Amsterdam on business, I was able to find Bulls and Dogs near my hotel. Upon arrival, I found that this place is in a food hall. I finally located the local hot dog for which I made the trip. I ordered the classic dog. At first glance, the dog was like the passenger side mirror on a car. Objects are closer than they appear. My dog was a pork dog with a pretzel bun. They default to onion crisps and ketchup (don't revoke my hot dog card - I did not in any way shape or form ask for ketchup -- I know in Chicago I would get dis-barred.) The dog itself was good - it came out hot and was made to order. Maybe I am too instilled in my religious hot dog beliefs - I really couldn't get past the ketchup. While it was good, it did not wow me. I didn't save room for a different dog so I will have to come back and try other options. Overall, solid pick with this place.

It tasted just ok. We expected it to taste better. The sauerkraut tasted pickled...like out of a jar. The red cabbage was overly sweet. The stew had only four chunks of beef. Overall, the food didn't taste fresh made. My wife could have cooked a better dinner at home. When visiting a new country, one expects better food (quality and taste) for 60 Euro.
