I would give them both 7 stars if I could.

The technician told me the compressor had failed and that I needed to buy a new refrigerator. I wasn't confident in that diagnosis, so I called Sears Appliance Repair for a second opinion. Their technician quickly identified that the compressor start switch had failed. He replaced the switch, and the refrigerator has worked perfectly ever since. I contacted this company to request a refund because of the incorrect diagnosis, but I've heard nothing from them since. Do yourself a favor--save your money and call someone else.

He was polite and direct, and told me he could get to me that same afternoon. I'd been having issues with my system since it was installed by those (in)famous Geeks nearly two years ago -- and despite having them come back several times, they were never able to get it to work properly. So, I gave up, even though I'd spent a considerable amount of money for that upgrade. Very frustrating. It took Jack less than an hour to figure out what the problem was, and get the system to run as it was always supposed to. In addition, I had him begin my efforts to create a Smart Home, by linking my TV and lights to my Echo, and explain to me how I could upgrade my thermostat as well. I would highly recommend you use Zen for your tech needs. This is the type of company everyone wants to have access to, in case they're needed: prompt, courteous, reliable and fair (the hourly rate is quite reasonable). Jack will be my first call if I have any such issues in the future.

I had an appointment set up for one time. Nancy tried to arrive earlier than the scheduled time…read more When she arrived, my son answered the door to advise that we were not ready. Again, Nancy had showed up sooner than our SCHEDULED appointment time WITHOUT MY CONSENT. I scurried to try to accommodate Nancy's early arrival. Finally, I was ready. When my son went outside to see if Nancy was still present, she was not. Nancy had left. Nancy didn't call, text or even blow smoke signals to advise that she was leaving, she just left. When I called her business to inquire as to what had happened, she had her people to lie and say that she was in a "meeting". How could you be in a meeting when we were scheduled to be in OUR meeting at the same time? The fingerprint meeting. I called and left several messages. I also sent several text messages to the line that she had called me from earlier. I never received a return reply. I was very upset as I was on a tight deadline to complete the fingerprints for my employer. THANK GOD that my employer was flexible, but man! I would never recommend this place to anyone. Nancy is unprofessional and a liar. Although, I've forgiven her, however, she is what she is and it's all done with a smile. To this day, she's never contacted me to resolve the issue or to apologize. Typically, I won't take time out to post a negative review but people need to know how unprofessional she is. One of the main reasons that I chose to post this review is because of the sensitivity of the situation. I'm in physical therapy right now for my leg. So, having her to come to me and being willing to pay an extra $250 for the mobile service on top of the regular fees was going to be a convenience that I needed at the time. The fingerprints were needed in order to retain the new position that I had accepted with my employer. My employment was attached to the fingerprints being completed. Thankfully, I was able to find a better service that cost less and that actually showed up when they were supposed to and not an entire hour early without consent like Nancy did. In conclusion, if you DO decide to patron her business, be sure to tell her from the very first moment that the scheduled time IS THE SCHEDULED TIME and do NOT SHOW UP EARLY as you WILL NOT be available. Because she'll schedule an appointment for one time but then call, text and leave messages trying to show up a whole day or so early. So, cut her off at the beginning and let her know that, the time is the time and to not try to avoid the scheduled appointment. Oh, because she did call me a day or two before the actual scheduled day asking to come over then. I advised her that I was not available and that I will need to keep my previously scheduled day and time. However, she STILL came over early on the scheduled day and caused an unfortunate situation. Do what you want, but please be aware of who and what you are dealing with. And if the prints that you need is for a job, I would ABSOLUTELY UNEQUIVOCALLY advise to not patron Nancy and her business as you could lose your job messing around with her messiness. He handled the full design and installation of a fairly complex residential network for me, including setting up a wireless bridge to an adjacent building using an antenna system. Everything was thoughtfully planned, professionally installed, and clearly explained along the way. What stood out most was the communication and his absolute commitment to get the work done right -- no surprises or hurdles he couldn't quickly overcome, just straightforward recommendations and honest pricing. The system has been solid since installation, and it's clear he takes pride in doing things the right way. If you're on the fence, I'd strongly recommend giving him a call.
