My favorites were definitely the al pastor and carne asada. So delicious and worth coming back for! The truck is next to a gas station, and parking is limited, so keep that in mind. They accept cards with a % processing fee, which I didn't mind. I also appreciated the handwashing station and the self-serve sauces and toppings!! A great food stop. Would definitely come back!!

I will say, tortillas are good and taste fresh, al pastor from the trompo was crispy, juicy and the sweetness from the pineapple was well balanced. unfortunately the asada was lacking for me. it was dry and the texture was almost like ground beef. we also went at 10ish, not too late, but they didn't have many of the salsas and onions cilantro and someone had to ask them to bring out more. it could have been an off day! and it wasn't a complete miss so ill def see for the next time

The crew in the truck were just awesome. Super nice guys and working hard to get food out. Ordered a Smash Burger for my wife and she said it was okay but really needed chili which she added. She also wished she'd ordered a double saying it wasn't very substantial. I got the Gogi-Gooey and it was good, but way too salty. I tried the Lemon Pepper Fries which were good but also pretty salty. I got the chili just to try it and that was good. I drove in from Burbank and wouldn't do that again, but I did like the Brewery and would maybe eat here again if I visit Paperback. 3.5 stars but rounded up because the guys were cool.

The fried…read morerice is packed with flavor and cooked to perfection, and you really can't go wrong with either the steak or the salmon--they're both tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. One thing you absolutely can't skip is the sauces. Between the teriyaki, yum yum, and hot sauce, every bite gets even better. Each one brings something different to the table, and together they take the meal to another level. If you're looking for a spot that delivers quality, big portions, and incredible flavor every single time, Hibachi on Wheels deserves a visit. I'll definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu!

Because the menu is so customizable, I'm rating everything by ingredient: 2/5 Chicken - Overcooked. 2/5 Steak - Good flavor, but I don't think it traveled well (ordered through a food delivery app). Not worth the upcharge. 5/5 Sauces - Would recommend their Crack Butter (Garlic Butter) and Crack Sauce (Yum Yum).

But I guess you can call it fate when we saw the Kogi BBQ truck at the Jackalope Festival at Pasadena this past weekend. I ordered and enjoyed the short rib burrito! For the price and the portion and the flavor - come on, it's so worth it! Definitely recommend the short rib burrito! Delicious and satisfying. I love the combination of the rice, kimchi, and meat all rolled up in a burrito! Yum! I can't wait until we meet again!

I went last weekend to the Lunar New Year event in NoHo and saw that they had the truck there - it was kismet. I decided to order the Korean short rib burrito for my first dive into the Korean Mexican fusion world. I was not disappointed. Love how the kimchi and short rib work within a burrito, and it's very fair pricing for what you get. I liked that they weren't stingy with the beef. The flavor was savory and had plenty of the umami flavor you expect from Korean bbq, and the kimchi brings a great crunch. The line was long for the truck, but from what I've heard, I may have gotten off easy with only a 30 minute wait - this place is popular! Anyway, really dug it and found it something fascinating and new to me. Excited to try the tacos next.

The thought of the two teaming up seems unattainable but it's been done and it's called Dulanville Food Truck! Yep, they serve up delicious eats from both establishments on one food truck! It's a cute truck that I was able to try at Infatuation's Eeeeatsfest. Of course what they offer depends on where you are catching them, but they will always have some form of that signature Prince's hot chicken recipe on the menu and if you're smart, you'll get that. I also highly recommend their Mac & Smokin' Cheese if it's on offer...omggggg. Mac & cheese is one of my guilty pleasures, childhood classic comfort foods, and this version is fabulous. Creamy pasta baked with four cheeses but having that signature soul punch with a dash of Hotville's sweet heat seasoning. Obsessed! I saw they're going to be at Winterfest today so am going to try to swing by for some more yums! You can see where they are on their website or ig! :)

Hotville, founded by the family that invented the Nashville hot chicken sandwich (Howlin' Ray's is…read morean imitator), teamed up with LA soul food giant Dulan's to open a food truck: Dulanville. It's excellent. I hadn't had Hotville since their brick & mortar space closed last year. Other than the food coming out of a truck, nothing seems to have changed. I tried the Dulanville truck for the first time when they were at Three Weaver's Brewery. I had the fish sandwich, fries, collard greens, banana pudding, and peach cobbler. The fish sandwich was spicy, fresh, and delicious, and the portion size was very generous. The sides were tasty, and the desserts worth ordering. I really enjoyed the banana pudding, which had nice slices of fresh banana and was topped with a Pepperidge Farm chessman cookie. The peach cobbler was really good, too. Service was friendly - just like it was at the brick and mortar space. And the wait time was short. I'm glad Hotville is back - even if in food truck form - and look forward to eating with them again.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful -- especially for an indecisive person like me -- pointing out what's popular, what they personally like, and what they recommend. I chose to go the "build your own" route and landed on: 1. Base: Chili Garlic 2. Noodles: Yakisoba 3. Protein: Fire-grilled chicken 4. Toppings: Carrots, cabbage, red peppers, sesame seeds, crunchy chili garlic The portions are solid -- I easily got two meals out of one bowl. Since I like spice, they gave me a side of their spicy sauce, which added both sweetness and heat. With all the sauce, it was definitely a bit messy, but the flavor was bold and the kick was real. The noodles and chicken were cooked well, though next time I might choose something a little less intense so I can better appreciate all the ingredients. With that much heat and garlic, some of the other flavors got lost. All in all, lunch for about $25 on Abbot Kinney is a great deal, and I'll definitely be back to try more combinations!
