    Thai Bomb

I was curious about this new noodle shop on Abbot Kinney! It's small, with a few cafe tables outside and one inside for seating. Most people order to go. The food was made fresh so served hot and the taste was delicious. HOWEVER. I did takeout and didn't look at the container until I opened it to eat. Major disappointment and concern as their thin plastic containers are most likely not heat resistant, which means chemicals leach into food. Cool concept as a store offering only noodle dishes but PLEASE change your serving and takeout containers!!

    Gotta get this!

Funny thing--I never actually look forward to takeout. Too many things can go wrong: Food gets cold Food gets soggy The takeout bag rips A homeless person snatches it My pets treat it like a buffet But NOODS? NOODS made takeout fun again. Their takeout "Noods Box" looked like the Tiffany's of food packaging--a total scene-stealer and perfect for a TikTok unboxing. I ordered the ever-popular Garlic Chili Noods (2 with chicken, 1 with beef) for me and my two boys. The Thai Bomb (with chicken) went to the wife. And for my famously picky daughter, a build-your-own soba with seared ahi tuna. The verdict? The garlic chili noods were a smash hit with the guys. Perfect portions, bold flavor--I usually hesitate with new garlic noodle spots, but NOODS delivered. I've officially found my new go-to. The Thai Bomb was another winner. If you're into green curry, this is your jam. The only complaint from my wife? Too much for her tiny stomach--she took the leftovers to work the next day, and yep, the flavor held. As for my daughter? She liked it enough to stretch it over two days. The real win? She asked when we could go again. If you know kids, you know that's everything. I also got to chat with Tommy, the owner--super cool guy and a long-time food truck vet. NOODS has only been here a few months, but it's already filling a serious gap in the neighborhood. Don't get me wrong--Abbot Kinney is fun and all, but the food variety at that $17-$20 range? Sparse. Glad you're here, NOODS. Looking forward to becoming a regular.

Was excited to try the noodles here and in the end was very disappointed :( The birria noodles did not taste anything like birria, but of course we are not at a Mexican restaurant, but it had a very odd flavor and we were not able to finish the meal We also tried the curry Thai & it had great flavor! The meat was dry and tough. It's a beautiful presentation & sounds amazing, but I feel like it can be better! The noodles itself weren't bad, but I think they should have an option of plain noodles. Their noodles are mixed with other veggies & it does give the noodles an odd flavor. Not sure what sauce they use separately for the noodles There's limited seating outside. The service was fast and we were able to watch them make our noodles. The staff were kind! Just not my cup of tea!

I think this place is a winner. Tasty and different from other fast foods. Good variety. It's a great place to get a bite to eat, not a Michelin star restaurant. I would recommend it for what it is.

Love the pick your own topping selection. Will say they were very difficult to mix in the serving bowl, I wish I had a bigger bowl to dump it into or that they mixed it and then put it in the bowl. It was yummy, but pricy for what it was, tho gotta contextualize for location. Not much seating, we waited and grabbed a spot outside

I was in the neighborhood looking for lunch and stumbled upon Noods, so glad I did! Everything on the menu looked amazing, so I asked the cashier for a recommendation. He suggested the Garlic Chili Bowl, and I went with chicken for my protein. It was packed with flavor and seasoning, absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be back to try more from their menu!

The best noodles ever. You cannot believe they have such a big variety Mexican Thai bomb garlic chili noodles and you have gluten-free. I want to tell you this is one of the best I have ever tried. I really recommend to come here.

I had a fantastic experience at Noodles a Noodle Concept today! I ordered their signature dish, the Thai Bomb, and it was absolutely delicious. As a vegan, I was thrilled with how flavorful and satisfying this dish was. The noodles were perfectly coated in the savory sauce, and the bowl had a great mix of texture thanks to the fresh veggies and that amazing, perfectly seasoned tofu (as you can see from the photo, they loaded it up with black pepper seasoning--so good!). The best part? The price was actually amazing for how filling the portion was. If you're looking for a great value, vegan meal that truly explodes with flavor, you have to try the Thai Bomb here. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Does this version hit all the right notes for you? Don't forget to add the location before you post!

Ordered the birria and garlic noodle options. Both were fantastic! Full of flavor, not dry, good amount of food for the cost. Staff was super friendly and helpful! Brought food to my car because there was no parking.

The food photos looked unreal and the store smelled so good I had to come try out Noods. The store is fast casual where you go to the front to place your order. There is no indoor seating and handful of small tables outside with very uncomfortable seats so I think it's better to order the food to go to be more comfortable. I ordered the Mexicana and my husband ordered a custom beef, ramen noodle, chili garlic base, cilantro, red onion, and scallions. I have to say I was let down by my noodles. They were not as saucy as I would have liked and the Birria base was more of a thick paste that clumped around the noodles. The toppings are not mixed in and since the cup is filled to the top it's hard to mix and might have been better if it was transferred to a larger bowl. The toppings tasted fine, I think my biggest issue is the base did not live up to my expectations. My husband really liked his bowl so perhaps it's best to pick a custom option you prefer. Next time I think I would try their glass noodles and a different base since the Birria one didn't deliver the saucy taste I wanted.

The menu is quite simple, but beware that no prices are listed on the main menu, but they are on the paper menus. They accept Apple Pay/credit cards. I ordered the asada burrito and the pollo caramelo and added the grilled poblano (as recommended on Yelp!). The tortillas were the true stars -- soft, nice chew, with a buttery mouth feel (probably lard). The fillings were just ok. The inside reminded me of a Taco Bell 7 layer burrito -- a lot going on but all the flavors kinda blend together. I (incorrectly) thought the beans were refried, but they are not. Whatever is going on inside, I didn't find much structure. The burrito was the best. The caramelo was a lazily folded burrito. I read that it was like a quesadilla, but I couldn't disagree more. I would skip this next time. I spent $25 and it was a lot of food, but I wasn't impressed, especially given the hype and the fact that LA should really be the pinnacle of Mexican food. Not sure if I'll make a second trip here.

Now when you pull up originally you might think, "am I in the right place" but once you park and get into the courtyard, it is LOVELY! Amazing ambience! There is a bocce set up, string lights. It is a little slice of oasis in the middle of the fashion district. The restaurant itself - beautiful. I couldn't ask for more. Absolutely perfect in my book. Beautiful plants hanging, perfect Spanish music in the background (any place playing Natalia LaFourcade is a win). The drinks were great! I had the jungle bird which was fun. Food was so good too. The whipped beans are the star! We had the guacamole which was tasty, great tostadas with it. The arepas were good but the pork belly was a little too fatty (I know pork belly is always fatty) to the point the fat muted the flavored for the arepa a bit, but still delicious. The empanadas were great and as someone who lived in South America and ate empanadas every day, these really took me back to my Paraguay days. The squash blossoms were light and perfectly fried. Unfortunately my friends had gone to Funke the night before so they were comparing the squash blossoms and Funke won out, but they still liked Dama's! Small plates were enough for the 3 of us. The staff are lovely humans who really seem to care about their customers. We have some faves on the menu. The bean dip is fabulous and I'm addicted to the baby gem salad. They have recently amped up the filling in the delicious crispy squash blossoms and I love the acidity and heat. The fish is also a hit in my books. One dish that doesn't work for me is the lamb chops, which is a shame since it's my favorite protein. I've ordered them multiple times with clear instructions on temperature and have found them overcooked and tough. The beef tostada was just ok. Whilst I loved the pickled veg on the side, the beef was underseasoned. It wasn't bad - just not up to the standard of other dishes. The vibe in the place is welcoming and the restaurant is nicely appointed. We will continue to be regulars and it's really worth trying if you haven't been yet.
