If you go to the mattress warehouse in Waldorf you need to work with Lamar. Lamar is a great salesman and knows his stuff about mattresses.

This place has bad customer service! I was in the business the guy didn't ask if I needed help or anything. Typical maryland business.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE... 3/16/2022- purchased Nectar mattress (asked if it could be delivered the following Wednesday-my day off, they said Yes we have it in stock and Yes it can be delivered next Wednesday) 3/22/2022-I called to confirm delivery for next day (3/23/22) their response, " so we don't have your mattress in stock, we don't know when we'll get it but when we do we'll call you". I said, " well I'm moving tomorrow, I have the movers coming with the furniture, I need a mattress to sleep on." They said, "can we deliver another day?" I said, "what am I supposed to sleep on. No I need a mattress tomorrow (3/23/22). They said, "let me see what I can do". Their sorry ass option: 1- we can deliver a higher grade bed, if you like it, keep it but if you don't YOU have to PAY for shipping it back OR 2- take a down grade mattress, if you like it keep it, but if you don't we'll pick it back up. I'm pissed now. First you sell me a mattress you don't have, then gonna charge me to send it back. So I had no choice but to take the down grade to avoid being charged. I get it....don't like it. A week later I get the call that they have the mattress and can deliver but NOT FLEXIBLE on day of delivery. Mind you, I was told if I want the mattress I paid for on 3/16/22, I can go searching their different stores and pick it up myself. So delivery day yesterday 4/1/2022, they show up, OPENED my mattress OUTSIDE, brought it in, put it down. I come home and it has 2 holes on the bottom of mattress, big ass dent in the middle of the mattress. Looks like a orthopedic hospital bed that's bent in the middle as if I pushed a button to sit me up. Mind you, I have to sleep somewhere. So now I've been up since 5am (normally wake up at 7am for work), back, neck and shoulders killing means have to go to work today. I AM BEYOND PISSED FRUSTRATED and all I've gotten through this whole HORRIBLE experience is "I'll see what I can do", no solutions, a lot of runaround, no sympathy, attitude, some of the things said to me had me feeling like "who you talking to like that". I couldn't believe some of the things that was said to me. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was told NO REFUNDS only exchange. They've been running me around between store employees and their customer service department and STILL NO RESOLUTION. I spent a little short of $1,000 and I'm still waiting on a FREAKING DECISION TO BE MADE while I'm sleeping on this POS crap. I found the bed made for me and definitely recommend the bed match program they use. However, I have to say I was left a little frustrated with my experience at Mattress Warehouse in Waldorf. I made my initial visit to locate and price my perfect mattress. I selected a Sterns and Foster bed and was satisfied with my selection. I left to price the mattress at a competing business and returned the next day to purchase. When I made my purchase, the salesperson forgot to charge me tax. He voided the sale and tried to recharge the amount. I don't know about ya'll, but I don't have loads of miscellaneous cash hanging around, so the new sale was declined because the first sale did not go through. This resulted in two more return trips, a 7 day delay in receiving my mattress, and still not receiving the mattress protector that I was assured would be on the truck for delivery with my mattress. Delivered the wrong adjustable base! Poor customer service!!! Deceptive practices!!! On 5/28/2018, my husband purchased a LACERT APT K Mattress (king sized mattress) and VERGE K (king sized adjustable base) from Mattress Warehouse in Waldorf from Donna DE7878. On 06/01/2018, I took delivery of the mattress and two twin non adjustable bases (which were delivered until we were able to receive the VERGE K adjustable base). At the time of purchase we were told that the king sized adjustable base was not in stock but would be available within a week and we were expecting it to be delivered at another time. On 06/07/2018, my husband contacted Mattress Warehouse to check on the status of the VERGE K and was told by James that the adjustable base was in stock and delivery was set for 6/9/2018. On 6/9/2018, I took delivery of the adjustable base as my husband was not home. The delivery person set up the base and placed the mattress on top of the base while I waited in another room. Once he was done with the set up he gave me a demonstration to show that the base worked and then asked me confirm by signing the line on his phone. I took delivery of the base but I was not aware that they had delivered the wrong base. When the delivery person gave me a demonstration he only used one remote. Once he had demonstrated that the base was operational he gave me an additional remote and told me that it was extra and I could use it for backup. (it was still in its package and did not contain any batteries). When my husband arrived later that evening he decided to put batteries in the additional remote and test it out. It was then that we realized that they had delivered two twin sized bases instead of 1 king sized base as only one side of the bed was raised. Once we lifted the mattress we saw that it was two bases instead of one. We have spoke with Donna and James at Mattress Warehouse in Waldorf to let them know of this mistake. They suggested that we contact Glen Corona or customer care. We contacted Customer care and was told to contact the store that we purchased from. We also contacted the Regional Manager: Glen Corona at 301-682-8504 ext. 322 but did not receive any response. read more

Worst experience ever! Purchase a mattress from here in July, the delivery date was a week after I paid for the mattress. They waited until the morning of the delivery to call and say they did not have my Mattress in stock and that they would have one in stock on Monday (this was Saturday), and would be able to deliver it on Tuesday! No one could accommodate the time which would have been after work on Tuesday. I'm not sure why, since they supposedly deliver up to 7:00pm during the week. I ended up purchasing a similar mattress the same day from Sam's and had family pick it up the next day (since I had already given my original mattress set away an hour before my mattress was to be delivered). The funny thing is when I called this store in waldorf , the young lady who sold it to me was not very sympathetic at all! When I came in the same day to get a refund, then she wanted to upgrade the mattress, but I told her it was too late! She should have shown more concern when I was upset on the phone after finding out they were not delivering the mattress! It to 8 business days for them to credit my money back to my credit card! I had to call several times until I was able to get a contact number for the GM. I should have checked the reviews for this particular store! My mistake! Lesson learned! read more

Their return policy sucks!!! I cancelled my order 24hrs after i paid and cancelled the delivery. I never received anything and i had to wait 2 weeks to get my money back to my debit card. They took my money in 2 days but took their precious time to return my cash. I will never shoo here again!! read more

after shopping for mattresses, we decided to stop at Mattress Warehouse. Terry & Ed waited on us. After much going back and forth with price, they gave us a GREAT price. I only wish they would have started with that price instead of all that going back and forth. BUT - we got a great mattress at a GREAT price. My husband and I had excellent service from David. He took us to a machine that determined the best beds in the store for us specifically based on our sleep patterns and preferences. 6/20/16 To whom it may concern, On Sunday, June 12, 2016 we purchased a King size Tempur-pedic Supreme Cloud bed which cost $6000. It was scheduled to be delivered the next day, Monday June 13th. The bed arrived and after the drivers placed the bed in the house I noticed a pink stain on the mattress cover. My husband went outside and asked the drivers to come in and look at the stain. The driver was very sweaty and with a cloth which could have very well been a rag he used to wipe his sweat proceeded to wipe the spot. It would not come out. He called the warehouse and the dispatcher asked if the spot was on the mattress or the cover. The Driver and his Assistant pulled off the cover and saw there was not a stain on the bed. So the Dispatcher said, just pull the cover off, it's supposed to come off its plastic! He is on speaker phone so I am overhearing this conversation. I told him this is not a disposable plastic cover, the cover goes on the bed. This is a very expensive bed with a zipped mattress cover that stays on the bed. So he asks is this Mrs. Dorsey? I said "Yes it is". So he told us to reject the bed and they would send it back. So we did. So they rescheduled the delivery for Saturday, June 18th. The bed arrived, just the mattress. They left the boxspring and it had the SAME STAIN in the same place! This is a new set of delivery people. They called it in again and were told to have us reject it, it must be a manufacturing issue. So I watched as they took the bed back outside and put it back in the same box and taped it up. Probably to give it to another unsuspecting customer!!! We had the next delivery rescheduled for the 3rd time today, Monday, June 20. We did not receive a call with the estimated time of delivery around 7am like we did the last two times. We were told they always call between 7am and 9am. So my husband called the warehouse at 301-378-2589 and they said delivery was scheduled for 12-3pm. Well at this point it is almost 1:30 so I called the store where we purchased the bed, Mattress Warehouse located at 3368 Crain Highway Upper Marlboro, MD. I spoke to Lamar. I asked Lamar where should I leave a review/complaint about my experience with Mattress Warehouse. He said there are a lot out there from Yelp, to Google but I would post it on Facebook. That is the only one where I have seen them respond back.Lamar said for your trouble I will give you a $150 refund, on your review please state that TJ and Lamar gave you great customer service. I told him when I see the refund on my account then I will update my review. Until then, its not happening. He confirmed it would be delivered between 12-3pm. My husband received a call at 1:56pm and was told they were 35 minutes away. So they came and it's the same delivery drivers from the 16th. This time the mattress was dirty! He called the warehouse and they told my husband he would have to call the store. There were no more of the specific bed we ordered in the warehouse and they would not get a shipment in until Friday, so that means we could not get a bed until sometime next week! This is UNACCEPTABLE! I can't believe we have been without a bed for our master bedroom for 2 weeks and counting!!! What kind of business would allow such poor customer service? I purchase my first mattress in July 2016 let me start by saying the sales team on site were great and professional. Not sure why I went here for my search for a new mattress I purchased my previous mattress from Macy and had it for about 17 years. I thought it was time for a new one. So my husband and I went through the mattress test and the sales rep recommend a few beds we selected one and paid around $2,000.00. Delivery was fine but we were 2 weeks in and I was getting no rest and my husband side was leaning over all ready. So we called because there is a warranty on the bed they said we need to wait 30 days. No improvement and no sleep. I started to sleep back on my old bed which we moved to the guest room. So they finally after several phone calls they sent an inspector to come out and check the bed out. They gave us the run around but finally approved for an exchange. We went to the store not wanting to spend any additional money and ended up with another bed which I thought would be better. IT'S NOT!!!!!! All of a sudden I have back pains and hips aching every morning. Like wise my husband side of the bed is doing the same thing as the 1st bed. Leaning to one side please note my husband is not overweight. We haven't called back because of what we went through the first time. My recommendation is that you stay aware from mattress warehouse......because do we really no which bed we are receiving? If this store just a stock of reject mattresses? So now since I can't sleep and joint problems I have to start my search over for a bed. I will be returning to Mary's or Sears; companies who support there customers and back here products. I know this was long and I have been wanting to write this review for a while but when I woke up this morning in pain I felt like I needed to let the world know not to purchase a mattress from here. After checking out a few other mattress stores I stopped in Mattress Warehouse on Crain Hwy in Waldorf. At first everything was fine and the staff very friendly. I stated my budget and was shown a few options that I was told were very good. I was indecisive since I had seen something at another store I liked but was trying to check out as many options as possible. First clue was at this time when the 2 sales people on duty (one of whom claimed to also be the store manager) started verbally bashing the other company. Even if they are not a good company, that is very unprofessional behavior. Upon seeing my hesitation the sales person/ store manager suggested we run a "soft credit check" to see what kind of financing I was eligible for. I was approved for a much higher amount than I wanted to spend. Funny thing...all of a sudden the mattresses I had been shown that were very good 10 minutes ago were junk and I should get one that cost even more than the amount I had been approved for, all I needed was a small down payment. The more I resisted the pushier and ruder the salesperson/ store manager got. I left without purchasing anything from that store but did have a much better experience down the road. And I found out yesterday that the "soft credit check" was actually a hard inquiry and financing application. I now have a credit card I didn't ask for nor do I want as I won't ever do business with store after this experience. read more
