I'm unsure of the name of the sales rep (older male) that assisted us but we visited the store around 7:30pm on 11/29/23. We were the only customers in the store and was barely greeted. It took a while for the sales rep to even get up from his desk to assist us. While inquiring on the different types of mattresses in hopes of finding one to fit our comfort, the sales rep seemed very irritable as he was short and unconvincing naming the highest price for every mattress we inquired in my opinion, assuming we wouldn't be able to afford it. Not once did he express interest or offer his suggestion on what he think would be the best fit for us. His entire demeanor was unwelcoming and we immediately felt judged due to the fact that my husband and I are young adults however, our general manner and the way we present and carry ourselves is beyond the stereotype therefore, you simply shouldn't judge a book by its cover. I understand it was an hour and a half before closing time, but that shouldn't have impacted our experience. We ended up leaving the store and thankfully was able to take our service to another location and was treated with exceptional customer service which allowed us to successfully purchase the right mattress for us.

Recently, it actually started to cause me some lower back pain. So as much as I dreaded mattress shopping, I knew it had to be done. Maybe there are people out there that get excited about mattress shopping, but I'm not one of them. But alas, it was on my long list of adulting to-dos on my day off. I was running some errands in a shopping center nearby, so I decided to drop in. The store was mostly empty, but I was immediately greeted by a warm and welcoming employee by the name of Abdul. I had a general sense of how much I was willing to pay but had no idea where to start. Luckily for me, Abdul was knowledgeable, thorough and patient while educating me along the way. With his guidance, I was able to test out over a half dozen different mattresses before finding one that I felt was a great fit for me. I was also able to arrange delivery for the next day, which included a service to remove my old mattress as well. Not only was my experience in store five stars, but so was the delivery service. They were able to confirm on arrival time that was accurate and when they arrived, the delivery folks were fast and friendly. Hopefully it will be awhile before I have to shop for a mattress again, but I was so pleased by the service provided here that I would gladly return as a customer in the future! The salesperson I worked with was knowledgeable and listened to what I needed. While he showed me some more expensive options, when I selected something less expensive that I thought was a better fit for my needs, he didn't push me to buy the pricier option. So, sales aspect of this place gets an "A". They didn't have the mattress I wanted in stock so it had to be ordered. 10 days after I had ordered, I called and they seemed a little surprised that I was still waiting to hear about when the mattress would arrive. Altogether, from the time I ordered to the time the mattress was delivered was over 2 weeks. Even though my townhouse is about 10 miles from the store, they charged me $49 for delivery because I live in the District. And on the day of the delivery, the 'delivery' was one skinny guy with a pickup truck. No way he was going to get the mattress up to the 3rd floor by himself, so my husband had to help schlep it up two flights of stairs. So, in effect, we paid for the guy to get the mattress to us on a pickup. I kind of feel like they should pay US for the manpower we provided to actually deliver the mattress to the bedroom. The 'service' after the sale is the reason for the 3-star rating. I liked the salesperson but I feel like the wait time and the delivery experience were not at the same level.
