I waited months for a furniture purchase while delivery dates were missed multiple times, with delays disclosed only after I repeatedly chased the store for updates. There was zero proactive communication throughout the process. I've had the great misfortune and displeasure of having to deal with Anthony Goode, one of the proprietors. He needs to get a serious lesson in customer service and hospitality or get out of the retail business. After the second missed delivery, he was unapologetic, deflected responsibility, and refused to provide a guaranteed delivery date. When asked to put everything in writing--including delivery commitments or compensation--he insisted on phone calls only, an apparent attempt to avoid a written record. After extensive back-and-forth and continued refusal to provide basic accountability or a firm delivery date, I was forced to cancel the order. Despite this, the business has refused to issue a refund of my 50% deposit. This is an unscrupulous and deceptive business operation that avoids transparency and accountability at every turn. Save yourself the time, stress, and money--do not shop here. Buyer beware!!!

We purchased a twin tempur-pedic for our son. I had researched, verified, and we knew which one we wanted prior to walking in. They were able to have it to us within 2 days of purchase. The downside was that despite it being the same mattress as our king is, it was too hard - much harder than either of us remembered our king being. So I again turned to their website, searched some more, and found another model, same manufacture, and we went in to have it exchanged. Again, it was maybe 2 to 3 days after that before we received the mattress. The delivery guys were very professional, quick, and even set up the mattress both times.

This was evidently frustrating and quite disappointing. She did what a normal person would do and took the furnitures back to the store for an explanation or refund. Initially the representative told my mother that would only get a store credit. This was obviously unacceptable as she was not planning on buying anything else from the store. After she threatened to hire a lawyer, the store representative agreed to give her a refund but would charge her for delivery. This is the epitome of poor customer service. There was no sense of responsibility or desire to help my mother in this situation. This store is small business but it will not thrive if it continues to treat its customers the way they treated my mother.

I really like being able to find cards that are unique & somewhat local instead of CVS, target type places. I spent more time in this store than I should've but bought several birthday cards that were pretty neat. Many of them were either made from recycled materials or had soy free ink, not the usual Hallmark crap. The store is a decent size & they have other random household items that they sell here. Yeah come in & take a gander, you never know what might find.
