Not pushy at all or annoying like so many mattress & furniture sales people are!! I only wish that the company sold more furniture so that I could buy a recliner from Judy too. She was always very friendly & available via phone or email. I would HIGHLY recommend GoToMattress to anyone nationwide looking for a new bed... free delivery, set-up and removal and the mattresses are made brand new for you after you order, so they aren't just laying around in a warehouse somewhere. Plus, the prices are very competitive vs. local stores! Working with Judy was the best experience I've ever had when it comes to making a major purchase.

You cannot compare mattress A at one store to mattress A at another because they change the names and terms from store to store. It's a pretty major racket. My dad had purchased a mattress at GoToMattress and was very satisfied so, even though the entire 'mattress online' situation seemed a little suspect to me, I took a look at their site. The savings were UNMATCHED and they had some tools in place to help me determine what 'mattress A' actually equated to in their line up. I ended up getting a slight upgrade from the mattress of my choice as they did not have my selection available. They delivered it to my apartment in NYC and removed my old garbage mattress. I am SO happy still, 3-4 years later, with my wonderful mattress. An excellent, affordable, quality purchase. I only thought to write this review as my mom is looking to update the mattresses in her house and I immediately thought to revisit this store to see if they ship as far as SC. They do.

We enter the store and I see two employees sitting on the furniture talking. I asked about the fabric for one of the models. They let me know by just talking from the back of the couch where they were sitting. No one got up to talk to us, no one greeted us. Another employee let us know the other types of fabric based on the velvet I was looking at. I walked to the back and as we were checking out the floor model, to the right of us there were two more employees. One on the iPad (or tablet) the other on the cash register. Neither came up to help. I asked for some help and the woman at the register seemed to have been irritated by me bothering her. she came over and I asked what type of color a specific fabric was and the response from the woman was *sigh* "we have over 200 types of fabrics" and proceeded to find the tag with the name. I said thank you and apologies for inconveniencing your time and left. This is the worst customer service I've ever received. This is why I have and will continue to order online only.

I went with Floor Concepts because they came highly recommended, but unfortunately I did not have a…read moregood experience with them. The flooring itself came in quickly and the install was scheduled. We took a vacation day from work for the installation, only to receive a text from Karly the day before saying they needed to reschedule with no explanation or apology for the late notice. Once the carpet was removed, we were told a subfloor needed to be installed. The subfloor was installed. We rescheduled the install. We specifically scheduled the install for 1:00 PM because we had earlier commitments.  The installers arrived early and immediately complained that they had been "sitting around all morning doing nothing" and asked why we didn't call for them to come sooner. There was a full unopened box and another half open box of flooring left over. While cabinets were going to be installed in part of the area, that information apparently was not relayed to Karly. However, even accounting for the cabinet area, there was clearly still too much flooring left over for such a small space. When I called Floor Concepts to see if we could return the unopen box Karly was extremely rude and insisted she personally measured everything correctly. (even though she missed the kitchen floor being higher than the room we were renovating) Talked to Sean and got nowhere with him. I later went into the store to show them a picture that the installers reused the old transition instead of installing a matching new transition. It looks terrible. Once again, Karly was extremely rude and blamed us, saying we must have installed the wrong thickness of the subfloor. That was not true. The subfloor height matched the powder room floor, which was also being replaced. Karly had personally measured the space and it was obvious even before the carpet was removed -- that the kitchen floor sat higher than the flooring being installed. I called and spoke with Sean and once again got no where with him. He told me there was nothing he could do other than offer to sell me a custom transition piece for another $200-$300. Seriously, for a 2.5' piece of wood? Shouldn't that be included in the price? At that point, I was completely done dealing with Karly's attitude and Sean's unwillingness to help with anything. While the flooring itself looks nice, except for the transition that doesn't match the customer service, communication, scheduling issues, and unwillingness to take responsibility made this a very disappointing experience overall.  I did not feel like a valued customer.  There are plenty of other places to choose from for our next flooring project.

My husband and I were in search of a new dining table for our eat-in kitchen and our first stop was…read moreBrass & Oak Galleries. We were promptly greeted by a friendly saleswoman that told us to let her know if we needed any help. She pointed us in the direction of the dining sets and we started to look over their collections. We had a few questions about a couple of the sets and another salesperson came over to answer them since the lady we first saw was now with another customer. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the furniture. The set we favored came in a few different colors and could be paired with several different chairs. He gave us a printout of our favorite set with the pricing, including tax and delivery. Since this was the first store we looked in for our dining room table, we thanked him and over the next couple of weeks we went to a few other stores to compare. After we had exhausted ourselves with furniture shopping, we decided to go back to Brass & Oak to narrow down our options. The set we saw there was in our top two choices and we talked with another salesman on our return visit. He checked to make sure the table and chairs we wanted were in stock and gave us another printout with the total pricing. This time the price was cheaper because we had a coupon ($100 off a $1000) and told us that we could order the set over the phone if we decided this was the table we wanted. My husband and I went home and after talking it over, we decided to go with the table at Brass & Oak. Although this one was more expensive than our other choice at another store, the quality was much higher and we knew that this table would last longer. When my husband called to place the order, he asked the salesman if he could match the delivery price of the other store and he gladly obliged. It saved us another $20. We set up a delivery date and time for a few days later. The two delivery men showed up on time as scheduled and they were very friendly. After the table was put together, they opened it up and made sure the leaf was working correctly (it is the kind that is stored inside the table) and then they cleaned up all the boxes and left. My husband and I are highly satisfied with our table and recommend looking at Brass & Oak for furniture and great customer service!

The second one had some scratches and a few dents but I accepted it, anyway, because we were having guests over for dinner that evening. All in all, it is a sturdy set but not very good quality. The table is just over a year old and the finish is wearing off just from normal, everyday cleaning after meals with a damp cloth. I called the store and they told me they could not do anything about it because it was past the one-year warranty. One of their employees told me he would come over to look at it. The day of the appointment he called and said he had the flu and needed to reschedule. It is weeks later and still no phone call. Now I wish I had just spent a little more and bought a table and chairs from the Amish. I won't go back to Brass & Oak.

We did, however, walk out with a couple of clematis plants which were a good deal cheaper than the ones we've bought in the past. I thought about buying some fruit and veggie plants, but since I've never had any luck in the past, I decided against it. So yes, it was a pretty cool store. I'm sure we'll stop in again sometime.
