My wife and I went there after first going to Johnny Janosic (sp?) in Dover. JJ was unwilling to move on price. We stopped at Mattress Warehouse next. The woman who waited on us was knowledgeable and friendly. We were shown to a device (basically, a bed with built-in pressure sensors linked to a computer with specialized software). It tested what firmness of mattress would be most comfortable for us and compiled a list of all the models they had that matched those parameters. We selected one in our price range and the sales rep was flexible on final price and terms (which any mattress seller should be.) The industry is known for having an ample profit margin, partly to leave room for sales and other negotiating discounts. The store did everything promised and the sales rep called promptly after our scheduled delivery time to make sure everything had unfolded as expected. We have had the mattress and box spring for about two months. We are very pleased with the purchase and are getting better sleep then ever. After a recent comfort match at Mattress Warehouse I purchased a Tempurpedic Contour Elite ( one of the firmer ones) mattress and adjustable base. I was looking forward to finally getting a great nights sleep free of back pain. The bed was quickly delivered in excellent condition. The bed was too firm for me and after night 30 I returned to the Camden, DE store and was helped by Devon and Brian. There was no hassle at all I was able to exchange the bed so I selected the softest of the Tempurpedic the Cloud Luxe Breeze. It was delivered quickly and now I am sleeping so much better. No more pain and no more tossing and turning from pressure points. Did I say how much I love the adjuable base!!! I would recommend purchasing from Mattress Warehouse. They have a wonderful finance plan too so despite my bed being kind of pricey it was something I was able to purchase. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five was that you weren't able to get Simply return the Mattress for a refund and could only exchange for something of equal or greater value. Make sure you do the Comfort Match though so in case your Mattress doesn't suit you can exchange it.. read more

My girlfriend and I went there a couple of months ago to check out some mattresses since my girlfriend has shoulder and neck issues and her chiropractor recommended her to check out this place. We were greeted by Alicia the store manager and she told us about this technology that will find the right support for you in a mattress. You answer a few questions and then watch a short video while your body is being measured. Yeah, the video was a little bit weird since they tell you that you can't choose your own mattress, but I guess they're right lol Alicia was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions we could think of. We found a mattress that was recommended for us and she gave us an awesome deal! We also went with an adjustable base with the massage feature and let me tell you it is amazing! Since we got the mattress my girlfriend did not wake up having to take an Advil or feeling worse then before going to sleep. Same for me, this mattress has helped us tremendous in getting a better nights sleep! I guess the right support in a mattress is important after all lol read more

Great selection, great service. Could not be happier with my new mattress. My experience with Mattress Warehouse in Camden was great. I was asked to take a short sleep test to determine the type of mattress that best served my needs.
