I have used this store a few times and have been satisfied up until now. Came in to purchase a…read moredresser and wanted it the same day. Unfortunately they did not have it and needed to be ordered. The sales man offered me a dresser that looked nothing like what a wanted and it was $100 more. He also seemed like he wanted to get me out of the store as soon as possible. Reluctantly I ordered the dresser which was going to take 3-6 weeks. I put down a deposit, but was able to find it somewhere else with sooner availability. I called Furniture and More for a refund on my deposit only to be told I could only have a store credit. I had no choice at this point but to wait for the furniture and pay for the rest of the product. I received a phone call later that week stating I could have my dresser delivered sooner than planned. The delivery was scheduled for that Saturday. On Saturday the wrong dresser was brought to my home. Needless to say $400 I was not happy. I called the store and they told me this is what I ordered. This is not what I ordered. This is what the salesman tried to sell to me and I did not want. I was told I would be issued a refund which is not even pending into my account. I called and the women who supposedly issued the refund was condescending and very rude. She asked if I have ever been issued a refund and I said she. She said "I don't doubt it". I will NEVER use the this store. You get what you pay for and that's poor customer service. Unfortunately the rudest person in the store is the district manager. Sorry my purchase wasn't substantial enough to warrant a better outcome.

As much as I would love to say I can swing a hammer or lift a beam, the honest truth is that I would struggle with the physical demands of construction work. That's ok, because it turns out that charities also need capital, which is where the Re-Store locations come in. Thanks to the dedicated staff and a generous community this store is stocked with cleaned and assembled used furniture treasures, just waiting to be found. The store begins just beyond the meeting areas at the front of the building. You'll find a smattering of books and kitchen goods along with dishes, some tee shirts, and whatever other small things are donated. Then you'll turn to the left and see a collection of dining sets, sofas, and everything else anyone might need to fill a home. Keep going back and you might find appliances or lighting fixtures. It changes every day, so it's best to go often. They don't deliver, but will be happy to help you load your purchases in your car. They will pick things up from your home if your donation is worth their attention, but they are happiest if you can drop things off instead. Please only donate things that others might actually want to buy, as it simply creates more work and cost for them if they have to dispose of things that can't be sold. I'm writing this review while sitting at a table from Re-Store. It's a solid wood table which will live beyond my current home decor decisions. I'll bring it back to Re-Store when I'm ready for a change!

It has been difficult waiting but I understand the company was re-purchased by the previous owner late, October. This caused difficulty with tracking and receiving certain products. The staff at the Dover store was courteous and responsive as much as they could be during the waiting period. The butcher block is beautiful and worth the wait since it matches an earlier install in my kitchen. Another issue is making contact with corporate customer service, it is like the new owner does not want customers to give feedback or have problems resolved. Hopefully this will be improved Going forward.

The complete lack of follow up and misinformation about paying half at start of job and half at completion was extremely frustrating. I then spoke with the manager and while he did refund the deposit could care less about our experience. We will go somewhere else as clearly this is just another very poorly run franchise.

My Husband and I were shopping around local businesses looking for flooring options for our hall…read moreand living room. We wanted to get rid of the carpet that was down (Contractors choice - home 5 years old) and were unsure if we wanted replacement carpet or some other type of flooring. The options too many to list. We stopped at Lowes and the Pergo flooring was an immediate "I like that". We then spotted a design of the flooring and made our choice. I cannot think of or mention anything negative about the flooring department. The salesman mentioned a measurer needed to come to my home for a price of $35.00 but that cost would come off the total price within 1 year of purchase. Lowes was then notified by the measurer of how much material was needed. My husband and I returned to the store to finalize the pattern and underlayment. We mentioned that there was carpet currently on the floor and for an additional price the installers could rip it out. We decided to rip it out ourselves. We were notified the flooring would take approximately 3 weeks to come in. (That was fine - no rush was needed). The salesman then added if we wanted the flooring delivered to our home there was an additional fee. We chose to rent a Lowes truck for 1 hour. the store employee helped load the truck. We were contacted within a week about installation and make an appointment for this. We were cautious about store hired installers having had a negative experience with Home Depot installers in NJ. Once again I have NO complaints! Four men came for the installation (1 a foreman) the job was completed with 6 hours. When they left they removed the old carpet we ripped up. They cleaned up afterwards, except for my new floor you could tell no one had been there. Excellent Service, Professional, Caring...really looking forward to working with them again!

The delivery…read morewindow was Tuesday 9:30-1:30 and I got a voicemail at 12:30 that the refrigerator wasn't on the delivery truck. They would deliver it Wednesday! I had to call the store and change the date because I work! I took Thursday off. They delivered the refrigerator and were on time but the delivery guy told me he couldn't change the side that the door opened on because then it wouldn't work right and said 95% of the refrigerators that they change the doors on are returned. (BS)Then I found a chip on the paint on the refrigerator door! I've been calling the store and have been dealing with the AI operator and have been on hold for a total of 2 1/2 hours just today! Now I'm going to have to DRIVE 20 miles to the store to get customer service. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES AT LOWES!!! I'm going to return this and although I'm boycotting Home Depot, I'll buy one there. They can't be this bad!
