They started squeaking getting into or out of bed, They also started squeaking when you were in bed at night trying to go to sleep. I tried to seek remedy with the 10 year box spring warranty but squeaking was not covered of course. Not to worry, Ken and Gloria, owners of Everything Cool immediately said not to worry that they have our backs on this one. They offered us replacement foundations that are superior in quality to what we had originally purchased in September 2020. We paid a small fee for the set up, delivery, and haul away of the defective box springs. Well done and thank you Ken and Gloria. I called the store-they told me the agent who sold the mattress will call me when he got in. I did not receive a call until 8 pm! Then the delivery date he made wasn't going to work for me. I'm really unimpressed so I cancelled my order and ordered through a different company. It is a big purchase for most people and salespeople should not be so flippant. Steer clear if you don't want your time wasted.

The manufacturer's help line was very helpful and solved the problem as a malfunctioning controller and is FedExing me a new one. So, do yourself a favor and buy at the Jacksonville or Oak Coast or at another bed dealer. These clowns should be avoided. Other reviewers called them liars but I think they are not smart enough to lie effectively.this

1/28/2020: Date of purchase/Credit Card charged…read more 2/7/2020: Scheduled date of delivery 2/6/2020: Received call from local store to cancel delivery and was told the mattress was damaged and therefore could not be delivered 2/13/2020 or 2/14/2020: Rescheduled delivery date from local store (They couldn't tell me which) 2/13/2020: I had to call to find out my delivery window at which point was told to contact corporate because the store who sold it to me now couldn't tell what happened. Called corporate/customer services and phone call was dropped twice after holding for 15 minutes each time. Got through to custom service rep who looked the order up in the system which showed the item was never in stock to begin with so there was no way they could have ordered it, let alone ordering a second one when my first came in "damaged". When I indicated that I would like a refund for my non-existent order, the customer service rep said it would take 2 to 3 business days for the refund to be processed and a I would receive a confirmation that same night that she had initiated the refund. 2/14/2020: I never received a confirmation via e-mail so called customer service back and spoken to a different rep. She indicated the refund would not go through for 5 to 7 business days. When I explained the other rep had told me it would be 2 to 3 business day, this rep told me no, it's 5 to 7. I then asked for my confirmation that the refund had been initiated to which the rep responded they won't send a confirmation and that I will receive a receipt once the refund has been processed. When I responded that the rep yesterday already had started the process, this customer service rep said she could put an expedite on the refund which would take 2 to 3 business days to go through. 2/20/2020: I had still not received my refund, so I called customer service again. The rep I spoke to said that the refund had been initiated yesterday (2/19/2020) and that I should see the refund in my account within 48 hours and that she would send me a receipt. 2/22/2020: My refund has still not hit my bank account. That is 25 days now that $4,897.94 has been taken out of my account, I never received the mattress I ordered and customer service has not been able to give me an accurate timeframe for when I will get my money back.

(a person who is not employed would not likely be plunking down bucks for a new mattress). I was forced to work from my weekday pad (since I live on the West Side of Florida Friday thru Sunday). I explained all of this to the sales man who assured me they would have no problem hitting their delivery window. Here I sit an hour after that delivery window closed with no call from the driver and no idea when I can expect delivery. Called the store (literally across the street from my apt) and the salesman attempted to reach the driver and get an ETA with no luck. Salesman finally called me back and gave me the driver's number (he's not answering of course). So I locate their corporate number in Miami and at 3:45 pm on a Friday I get a recording that says "Sorry we're closed." No identification of who the company is, no option to reach a customer service rep...just a "hey, it's Easter weekend and Miami traffic sucks so all of we corporate types are bumping off early...customer service be damned." Communication (from anyone who could give me an ETA) would have helped keep this negative review from dropping a star every half hour...but....clearly Mattress1.com is not aware of the power online reviews wield...the deserve to lose customers and market share until they fix their broken delivery and customer service/communication processes. If you're into gardening like I am, you'll appreciate their selection of seeds on their shelf, and plants in their greenhouse. I prefer to start from seed, but if I want just a few of something (like cabbage or peppers) I'll stop by and grab a tray of starts from the nursery. They also have fruit trees, house plants, bags of soil, and things like hoses, sprayers, and sprays for pests. If you're raising animals, they have a pretty good selection of items for dealing with the needs of pets or livestock, such as feed, hay, pest control, wound care, etc. You can also purchase live chicks here. If you're raising humans, they've got hunting supplies, home repair items, and local food items like honey and eggs. I've even seen rare produce like Seminole squash a few times. Every so often, I've seen order forms for pasture-raised poultry, so I know and appreciate that they're aware of and willing to serve the market that wants a more natural approach. Price-wise (from the garden supply perspective only), I find them competitive with other local businesses, and having the personal touch is nice. They kind of remind me of Ace Hardware in that way.
