The reason I rated them 3 out of 5 stars is the lack of inventory. While the stores presentation made it appear like they had a lot of shoes and sneakers, the fact was they only had a few pair of each kind. There is never a lack of footie socks to try on shoes and if you shop sales you can get some good deals. If you don't see your size, the employees can check another store for your size and ask that it be held for you. They can also order and ship shoes to your home. I recently returned a pair after deciding the fit wasn't quite perfect. So long as you don't wear the shoes outside on pavement, they will accept a return. Sign up for their emails for coupons and rewards. I don't get email spammed and have pulled up coupons on my phone to save a few bucks.

Their parking lot gets filled pretty quickly, so while they appear to have ample parking, sometimes you have to park pretty far away. When I entered, I went to the back, where I thought online order pickups would be. I had to pick up two separate orders, one for my dad, and then one for an order I placed yesterday. When I arrived, I went to the back, but this was the self serve pickup. Being totally confused, I asked an associate, I gave her my order number and she says, I don't think it's filled yet after checking and there being no record of the orders. I wound up leaving, then because I didn't want to come back, I downloaded the app and noticed one of my orders, the most recently placed one was canceled, due to the item being out of stock. I came back in, asked an associate about the order my dad placed. Come to find out one of the items in his order, the one that was for pickup was also canceled due to lack of inventory. I wish Kohls would do a better job of making sure items are in stock before allowing you to pay, and then saying your order is good to go.
