I am writing this review so that consumers who are looking to buy a new mattress know what to expect when you are not satisfied by this company's products or service. Because of Mattress One, I have learned that I must read consumers reviews before making purchases. Especially with something as important as a healthy sleep.
I bought the first mattress on February 9, 2016 for $500.00 After only 3 months, the mattress became unsown and was not offering the support I needed. When I reported the issue to the store, the employee even confessed himself that I purchased a cheap mattress and needed to upgrade. All I wanted was a good night's sleep, so I did just that! I upgraded to a "better quality" for an additional $200.00 for a FIRM mattress. I made sure to test the mattress in store before agreeing to their gimmick. In addition, they made me pay an additional $130.00 for exchange and delivery, knowing that I was not satisfied.
3 1/2 months after upgrading, I have realized that I sink more and more into this mattress. There is no firm support. I have been experiencing more back pain due to this. As far as having to visit a masseuse for the first time in my life! I contacted the sales office in Midtown where I purchased the mattress. They now claim I must email the corporate office in Doral. That they cannot help me. The Doral store, nor any of the company's personnel refuse to contact me direct to settle this matter. They only function through email which is frustrating. They give you the answers they want to give, with no actual solution. They refuse to address my concerns. They sent me an email with instructions on how to submit my mattress inspection where I had to submit photos and a testimony. If you are not capable of doing so, they will happily charge you a $50.00 inspection fee for one of their representatives to do so. Since I had already spent time and money trying to get a good night's sleep, I did as they requested. I sent them pictures showing proof that the mattress sinks significantly once weight is placed on mattress. I am not a heavy guy by the way. Their response? That is normal body impressions. And that the conclusion of my inspection does not show anything that can be warranted. If I wish to further dispute, I must pay the $50.00 for their personnel to come to my home and do another inspection, and will have to wait another 10-15 business days after inspection. If it is determined that there is a defect, I will have to pay another $90.00 for exchange and delivery? What??? Wait? So I still have to pay more??? But why am I being punished for defective merchandise?
I visited the store direct with wishes that someone could help me, since the management staff in Doral refuse to call me. The employee cursed and insulted me saying that I am not the only one who comes to complain. He cursed me, so I called the cops. After cops saw photos of my mattress, they agree that that is not normal for a mattress to sink that low. Unfortunately, the cops cannot do anything.
I have had back pain from sinking into this mattress, and developed neck muscle spasms, that is why I am now sleeping on the floor until I find a solution, with all the money that I am out of.
I want people to know what to expect. Maybe you get lucky and buy a good mattress here, but if you do not, like me. This is what to expect. read more
