Jeffrey at this location was very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. We really enjoyed working with him and he was also super nice to our baby. He's very accommodating and wants the best for his customers. read more

My wife and I went to Mattress Firm on Central Avenue in Hartsdale, NY where we were helped by Nancy. The king size bed is comfortable, but it now sags in the areas we sleep. We are small elderly people and not overweight. So this is a bit of a disappointment. read more

My boyfriend and I are in the process of moving and we wanted to stop by to see what mattresses we liked. We had no intention of buying anything today. As soon as we walked in Frankie greeted us and gave us the complete run down of all the mattresses. He helped us narrow down what we liked. Frankie was extremely knowledgeable about each brand of mattresses -- we actually ended up buying a mattress!! We are extremely excited for it and I'm so grateful for Frankie's help. read more

Pretty sure this is the store I went to - over near Kohl's and Nathan's. Fenix was awesome! So friendly and knowledgeable while helping me find the right mattress for me - explaining all the differences in springs and padding. He wasn't trying to oversell or just get me to buy the most expensive one. He was patient as I kept going back and forth between the few I liked, and in the end even helped me to get a deal buying a pre-owned mattress of my top choice. It was an absolute pleasure working with him and I'd recommend anyone go to this shop to work with him! read more

If you want to be scammed out of your hard earned money and duped into a useless credit line, be their guest. If you want high quality names but low quality products at high quality prices, come here. Why pay a third of the price when you order directly from the manufacturer when you can pay triple the amount it's worth going to Mattress Firm. Nothing like a failing business that does not pay their bills offering unsuspecting victims the opportunity to fail and do the same. This company along with its employees have no shame in scamming the community and I hope they go under soon. read more

Stay away from these people! If I could give them a 0-star review, I would. I bought two different mattresses from them in one week, and even though they haven't been delivered yet, they've been sitting on my credit card bill. I normally wouldn't have a problem with that because I want the mattresses, and I expect them to be delivered, but I have a refund for part of the order, and they won't refund me until the order is delivered. So they will charge you before delivery, but they won't refund you. And they say there is nothing they can do about it. Utter BS! And then--mind you--that's a different story than what I was told when I called the same person back the week before about my refund. He just told me to call him and get the refund pushed through. Clearly lies! And get this--the corporate policy on refunds is 2-3 days! It's been 3 weeks since I've been asking for this refund! Somebody is not telling the truth! And then guess what--for one mattress, they gave me a discount on the box spring and gave me the bed frame for free, but on the second bed, which I bought a week later, when the same promotions were running, they wouldn't give me the same discounts, despite admitting to me that I was getting the SAME FRAME on the second bed. If you want to buy a mattress from thieves, buy it here. And by the way, this is my experience after dealing with both managers in the store--Charlie and Terrance. Talk about customer loyalty and goodwill. I've spent $2000 on two mattresses in 1 week, and I'm treated like utter shit. No wonder Mattress Firm is in horrible financial condition. They treat their customers like gum on the bottom of their shoe! https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.houstonchronicle.com/business/retail/amp/Mattress-Firm-s-parent-company-faces-accounting-12417548.php UPDATE: Its been a month since I've requested my refund, and still no refund! read more

Mattress Firm Yonkers - Mattresses Near Me - Yonkers, New York

This has been the worst mattress buying experience I have ever encountered. We were delivered an incorrect mattress of lesser quality naturally and did not catch it until delivery people left. Contacted Anna and Corey at the store and the could not be less sympathetic. As representatives of the company, there should have been some ownership taken. Their response was that they did not pack the truck. We will purchase again from ANY Mattress Firm and would advise anyone else to do the same. read more

I have a receipt with my delivery day (today, over a week after purchasing) and we received no call from mattress firm. We called on the day of delivery to find out it is out of stock and the manager was unremorseful, did not apologize, and said "we are in a pandemic" to excuse him of adding 2 weeks onto our delivery. I have no mattress in my bedroom and mattress firm would have never notified me if we hadn't called. the in-store experience was just as bad as the follow up. Never going back here ever again. read more

I have just encountered the RUDEST employee at your store. In the middle of trying to explain something to him, ANDRES GENTLE interrupted me by saying, "LADY" and called me rude several times. ANDRES GENTLE refused to give me his bosses name, saying only God was above him. I CANCELED my order, and it is ANDRES GENTLE's fault. He also said he cannot send me a cancelation email. I AM FURIOUS. read more

I recently purchased a mattress from this company and it was bad from the start. Upon delivery the bed was not completely encased as promised , and the delivery people did not let us inspect the bed before they took off. We soon realized the bed was infested with mites and bed bugs after my mother began getting bite marks after sleeping on the bed. We had multiple pest control companies come and confirm our suspicion about the bed. Mattress firms corporate refused to remove the bed or try to accommodate us in any way. In result we had to fumigate our whole home and have prossional cleaning on all household items (clothes, sheets, blankets) costing thousands of dollars. I bought this bed for my mother with cancer so she would be comfortable. Instead we got a nightmare that turned out home upside down. read more

I have come to this clearance store since I was a teen with my mom, back when it was named Sleepy's and the mattresses were all over the floor and disorganized. I went back tonight with my little sister to get her a mattress set for her apt and wow! This location is so tidy, clean and neat now! The manager David is such a sweetheart and totally worked with my budget. I came back plenty of times before but now I know I will not dread it as much! It was such a nice, calm and swift process. read more

My family had a difficult task finding a bed for my father in law. Monica and Sean expended 2 hours and a ton of professional expertise to help us in that endeavor.we departed the store with the most perfect mattress ever . it was in stock. A 10 year warranty and a warm happy in house ambience was the icing on the cake . the best recommendation I can offer is not to waste your time shopping elsewhere. You will not be disappointed. read more

Want to be gaslit your entire mattress buying experience? Then shop here! Upon coming to this store, I was sold an extra firm mattress by the manager despite being a stomach sleeper (I trusted him). After sleeping on that expensive slab of concrete for what felt like a century and having joint pain every day I finally realized it was probably the mattress and took it back. Thus time, I was shipped the wrong mattress and charged up because it was "higher in price." After telling them it was the wrong one they charged up again despite it being a MUCH CHEAPER mattress than the one they sent me and also charged another delivery fee despite it not being my fault they sent the wrong one. Their "customer service" line sends you back to the store. Do yourself a favor and buy a mattress somewhere normal, especially because they're already so expensive, and if you don't want to keep incurring their random fees to fix their mistakes! read more

This mattress firm has the most incompetent employees. From the beginning, Jorge had the wrong address in my order.. after I told him multiple times what the correct address is and he wrote it down- but still put the address in incorrectly! He also gave me a delivery date that I was not able to work with, and I called the store to have the date changed. I was told I would receive a call back after they spoke with customer service, and of course never heard anything back. I called to follow up within an hour to find that they closed the store. I then asked for a refund the next day and was told the refund would be in my account in 7-10 business days. It was June 3rd, and I was told this on May 12th. I still have not received the full amount that I paid!!!! Working with this store is useless, so I have had to call the customer service number numerous times. read more

Bought a discontinued model from Shawn reassuring me it would be a new mattress and received a dirty stained floor model. Refused delivery, was told by George that I would receive another mattress, new and upgraded without additional charges for the inconvenience since they could not find that model. Second delivery, matress stained and dirty, driver said he wouldn't take it either! Sent back and demanded a refund. Took two days off for deliveries! Sleeping on the couch. Called consumer affairs, they said it was not the first call about dirty mattresses being delivered. Sleepys has been bought by another company. Cancelled my credit card charge, calling BBB, Board of Health and the Attorney General. DO NOT BY A MATTRESS FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!! read more

Hello, a few months ago i purchased a matress and boxspring from this store.Bill helped us with purchase..The delivery was on time and his assistance with choosing a mattress was very helpful. I've have had the absolute worst experience at this Sleepy's dealing with one of their sales associates, John. Not only did this man completely ruin my order, making it impossible for my new building to accept the delivery of my mattress, he did not even know how to use his email. When I asked him to submit a certificate of insurance to my building, he didn't seem to know what it was. This is a STANDARD request as most apartment buildings in NYC require them during a move. When I said I could send him a sample via email, he said he wasn't sure what his email even was and said that he could call me back in 20 minutes once he'd figured it out. He then proceeded to give me an incorrect email. When I didn't hear anything back, I called the store and he said "oh I realize what happened, I gave you the wrong email!" Basically, he wasn't even going to call back to tell me it was the wrong email... So he gives me another email address, which AGAIN is the wrong email. 4 hours has now gone by and he still hasn't sent in my request for a COI. After requesting to speak to a manager, he gives me his personal email and sends it in to company where I'm told it will be another 48 hours until I even hear back. As a result, my COI was not submitted on time, my mattress was unable to be delivered, and I had no bed to sleep on. I will never use Sleepy's again. read more

I am very happy with my mattress purchase from your Yonkers store. The staff member who helped me (Andre Gentles) was extremely knowledgeable about the different options that were available to me. There was no pressure (which was a welcomed change from other merchandise purchases I've dealt with in the past). I already referred two of my friends to visit your store for a mattress. Thanks again!! read more

I drove around for quite a while looking for a mattress for my son's bunkbed,I tried several other places where the prices were either just too high or the quality was low. Such fantastic service at Sleepys I couldn't be more impressed! Go to Yonkers to see Rashawn!

Jorge was great with helping us out. The bed I fell in love with was $$$$ but he found it in the warehouse at half the price, which was the make it or break it factor. And I couldn't be happier!!!! Thanks so much read more

Buyer Beware.... Even though Sleepy's in Yonkers changed their name to Mattress Firm, they still employ the same lazy, inept sales people. My husband purchased a mattress before their transition and was told by the salesperson Ana that it would be delivered in 2 days. When I called customer service, I was told that she misinformed us and it would take 2 weeks + to deliver the mattress. I went back to the store to get a refund and after 2 months of phone calls finally got most of it but not all. It's now months later and Ana says she can't do anything because it is Sleepys and when you call Customer Service, they refer you back to the original salesperson because they cannot find it in the system. Save yourself the aggravation and go to a reputable store without this many bad Yelp reviews. Wish I had checked here first! read more

Stay away. Scammers. Their mattresses are over price. They would say you are getting a sale price when indeed you are not. Do your home work the prices online are cheaper than what they are quoting in the store. read more
