Peter was our sales guy very friendly and very accommodating and most importantly not pushy!! He felt like our friend not our salesman. I'm sad that the Middletown store will be closing as I do not like the high-pressure in Paramus they do not care about their customers just their money. Also their sales are a joke! I wish there was a petition I could sign to keep the Middletown New York store open! I also just talked to Pete on the phone he is the other sales guy other than Peter he was very nice as well. I advise everyone to go take advantage of these awesome sales.

But then you ask yourself, well do I work at this furniture store? I have to ring myself up? Not like that gets me a discount or anything. So you go to the store, show yourself around. Pick a couch you like, and then have some guy kinda fumble around with your debit card, I guess? Not like he doesn't deserve a commission, but they could probably pay a lighter staff a more liveable wage to offer a better customer experience. I don't blame an apathetic sales associate who begrudgingly put on a suit before they came to work for doing less work than needed for a customer shelling out a few thousand dollars for some particle board and foam. Still, maybe the whole furniture store industry is just a board room of dorks with an Alibaba account and a marketing budget. Just seems dumb. Two stars could have easily been three if the guy could have knocked off some dumb car dealership style fees. It's just gonna be some free crap on Facebook marketplace in 15 years, sure it's a nice couch now... Anyways, two stars and that's only because it was a clean nice store.
