Unfortunately for me, the new place is 25 miles further north at the Jefferson Valley Mall. This is as far as you can go in Westchester county because Putnam county is just across the street. Like most malls across the country, JVM is not doing great, with not a lot of tenants or customers and it just seems to be barely hanging on. At least their anchor store, Macy's hasn't bailed yet. I'm hardly ever up this way, but when I am, I'll stop in at WTH to see any new stuff (and to see the old stuff). The new store has almost as big a footprint as the Galleria store, but way bigger than the previous White Plains mall one, which got the wrecking ball also (I'm not sure if that's a good omen). Everything was moved here, every plane, train & automobile (literally) and even Barbie (but no Oppenheimer). John told me he has big plans for the new store and to check back for new inventory soon. Each aisle has a hobby specialty. The biggest proportion is in the back where all the model trains reside. Glass cabinets are filled with vintage Lionel trains and other well known brands. The Hot Wheels collection made it over, as well as the Barbie and Hess truck collections. But my main hobby focus are model airplanes and ships and their collection of old kits is pretty impressive. They get new old kits all the time by buying up old collections and reselling. This trip, I got (3) 70's-80's nostalgic plastic airplane kits that I've had or wanted since I was a kid. I could wander the aisles here all day and they would have to kick me out. Maybe I'll go back after I grab some lunch at the food court...

He takes his time to see if he can give you a good deal for what you've got and will be 100% with you if he feels that what you may have may be beyond what he would know to offer or if it's just simply not for his location. His shop is not a pawn shop, it is a collectible memorabilia shop. You find some hidden gems in there that will take you back to that time you were a kid opening that new toy your family got you. He has cards, figures, toys, collectible kitchen items, name brand clothes/bags, sports, collectible knives and more. Everything you would ever need would really be here. And if you play instruments, there's probably something there for you too! Jimmy got us an in home repairman to evaluate the a/c within 2 days. When the repairman arrived he was very professional and knowledgeable about the a/c and deemed it not fixable but advised that he would notify the main office we to arrange for a replacement. The main office contacted us and said there would be "no replacement from GE warehouse until after July 2, That was unacceptable as no guarantee when it would actually be available. Not to mention the predicted heat wave this week! Jimmy said they had " 58 "identical to the one we bought less than a year ago a/c's in Appliance sale plus'own warehouse!" Jimmy encouraged us to advise GE of their availabilty. After many phone calls to GE we were finally given permission to buy one from Appliance Sales Plus and GE are reimbursing us the full cost and installation costs! We are happy that GE did the right thing but we couldn't have done this without Jimmy's help. Jimmy went the extra mile for us...he understood that it was not just a comfort issue but a health issue! They had a great selection of essential oils to pick from to create your own custom scents. Alex had us smell different scents and jot down a few smells we liked so we can curate candle fragrances. The 8oz candle was $38 and the bigger candle was $50. Everything was included in the price and I definitely think it is worth it. The candle takes 2 hours to set which is perfect because there's plenty to do, explore and eat in Cold Spring NY. It's a fun experience to do with friends, family or solo!
