The owner or sales person seemed somewhat bothered but not enough to affect the mood. The owner was upset the pellet stove wasn't working and it was cold, so her customer service didn't seem as friendly that we were there. The pricing was slightly higher than other antiques venues we have visited but there was a nice selection. We will return again and more than likely purchase items.

If not, the pictures on the website are completely accurate. I am getting compliments on the dining table already. The owners are both charming and serious about their business. I thought the pricing was fair, and the in-house delivery service - Steve, the owner, and a truck- worked well. My comments are about the mid-century modern furniture business, not their other product lines. But I bet they do that well also.

I bought a teak dresser from Steve last month, and I've been very pleased with it. He refinished it and delivered on time, within just a few days of purchase. If you don't find anything you currently like, just wait - it seems like they are always getting new pieces in.

I have had this for over 10 years and have been able to find only one other kind of furniture that even compares , which is some of the Danish teak. The drawers are full extension and get a lot of use and still are like new. You could open them with your pinky finger. I went to West Elm store just to satisfy myself that it would be worth a purchase and even though the items are pretty, they cannot come close to the quality of this Amish made furniture - not even a little close, so now I do not feel bad that Im not getting any of it.

First we went to a local mattress store that sold legacy brands to see top of the line bed in box. We were surprised at the firmness and quality seemed good. We didn't have any complaints about what we saw or tried. We have always been a box spring and mattress sleeper. Before we decided we had one more stop. We went to a local Furniture store, Millspaugh Furniture in Walden, NY. It's family owned and been in business since 1858. They have a really cool store to wander through. I didn't really know what to expect because this is not a bed in a box store, and they don't sell legacy brands. They hand make their mattresses. When we first got to the store we were greeted by a very friendly sales person with over 40yrs experience with this family run store. She explained in detail wht the process of making the mattress was and what materials they use in each layer are where they sit. We were very impressed. When we tried out the beds we were sold. The feeling you get is being cradled on a soft, plush cloud with support. Becky took all of our senior aches and pains into consideration and gave us her best advise as to what level of plush and support would be just right. We tried all their choices and found Becky's advise to be right on target. My husband and I can't wait for our new bed to arrive. Hand made just for us. Made in the USA. All the fibers are natural and top of the line. Plus the mattress is double sided so you can flip them to get more life out of your mattress. We treated ourselves to their adjustable bed option and two pillows as well. I wish I would have visited the Millspaugh store prior to purchasing our living room set. The difference in the quality at Millspaugh compared to the retail stores are dramatic.
