Needed a stainless steel cleaner and this was my third stop for a product made by Brillo which I could not find in the last two. A team member named Victoria greeted me and asked if she could assist after I explained what I was looking for unfortunately they did not carry but she said she could order it for me or I could try barkeepers friend which she highly recommended. I purchased sponges and product based upon Victorias Recommendation and it worked excellent! Needless to say I will be coming back for all my cleaning and hardware related purchases ! So off the bat, this place is super clean and well organized! The bathrooms feel homey and clean. There is not one thing out of place in this whole store and the floors are spotless and shiny/polished. When walking in, I was greeted by the people at the register and was told if I need help, there's someone to help me. Just a pleasant experience and I had to write a review because people need to know that this is an awesome location!! NOT SAFE in Pandemic. I just got back from this store (5/27/2020 around 245)- there were 4 employees not following mask law - I was not wearing her mask at all - 3 others including the 2 cashiers did not have their noses covered. read more

Like another reviewer on here said, I agree that it is very well organized, extremely clean and all of the workers go out of their way to help you find what you need. Not to mention if you take a look around you just might find something interesting as they have a lot of different things such as kitchen tools, dog treats, decorative items, etc. In fact, hubby needed some minor parts for our RV and he didn't think they would have them but I said let's try here anyway and sure enough they had them. I personally hate the larger chain hardware stores as they never seem to have a free customer service person available when you need one and it can be a maze trying to find just what you are looking for. I went to Lowe's and Home Depot to find a large socket and wrench they were useless. So I went to Brett's and they helped me out and I had what I needed in my hand in two minutes and out the door in five minutes. I am now taking my business here from now on. read more

Poor customer service and unfriendly staff. This is one of the reasons why big chains are putting small and local business out of the market. If you going to be treated with no sympathy, you might as well go to a place where you can actually find what you need. Just leaving the store now, system is down and there's 6 employees in the store that have no idea what to do. No other option but to let about 10 sales walk out the door. I've been here before and mistreated by the owner's. It's been a couple of months and I thought maybe I should give another try since is so much closer to me than Home Depot or Lowes. I like to support local buisness and all, but there prices are sickening on some things. The owner absolutley price gouges and takes advantage of fear tactics big time at this store on seasonal items. I dont mind paying 20$ to 30$ dollars more on a big ticket items but over a 100$ dollars extra on the same item down the street or the next true value is where I have to draw the line. Stopped in here this evening to get ideas and equipment to mount a few things to my dock. As soon as I walked in, the cashier asked if I needed help with anything. He pointed me to a guy who worked in the hardware section. I explained to the employee what I wanted to do. He came up with ideas, walked me around, and picked out the different brackets, nuts and bolts that I needed for my job, and explained to me how to install everything. The staff here are extremely helpful and knowledgeable, the customer service is phenomenal, and they know their stock inside and out. read more

Wonderful store. Can pick up many items I need for my home and property. The customer service is out of this world. I'm often accompanied to this store by at least one of my small children and I ever leave Brett's True Value without an employee insisting they help me to my car. Place is great. They don't have everything that Lowe's has but it has a lot of small stuff that you probably are looking for. You walk in, someone asks you if you need help, if you do that person stays with you and finds everything you need. Never had a bad experience. read more
