Wife had been asking me to pick a mattress from the myriad of online options like Saatva, Nectar, etc. I finally got around to looking at them and immediately realized that buying a mattress online just didn't feel right for us. I called up the Mattress Firm store Saturday morning and got ahold of mattress/sleep expert Robert; he let me know that the store was sanitized and ready for us to come check out some mattresses in person. We visited the store that afternoon and Robert listened to our sleep preferences/needs and took us on a tour through several mattress types and firmnesses until we found one or two we thought we liked. At that point he showed us an adjustable base; while I have never had an adjustable base before in my life, I can tell you that after having Robert demonstrate an adjustable base for you, you're going to want one. Robert showed us every option available without being pushy or insistent. He showed us for beds and bases that covered a range of prices, and offered not only serious discounts on certain beds, but also excellent financing options as well. He even went the extra mile and helped us figure out how to upgrade both of our son's beds as well, and arranged for home delivery of everything. So I went to Mattress Firm looking for a simple twin mattress for my daughter's new bed....It has a trundle. I get there and it seems like there is nothing that I'd really like for the price. I'm about to leave and Victor, the sales associate asks what I'm looking for and if he can help. We go round and round about options and ways to save and we finally come up with a plan. See I need a new queen bed for my guest room as well. Victor suggests a GREAT foam mattress for the queen that he can give me 50% off on. Then he says...I heard you talking about a full size as well... I explain that was my daughter's mattress...But i'll have to wait due to price. Victor says gimmmie a sec. Victor got me a full size foam mattress for 50% off as well. Then he says...Hell, I'll throw in the twin you liked..No charge! Then he noticed I liked a cooling pillow that was not being sold any further. He called around til he found one at another store. He got a $200 pillow down to $70...But then said, I can sell you the demo you liked for $35 if you want that instead. I jumped on that deal. So to break it down...I got a Queen foam, a full foam, a twin with pillow top, and a $200 cooling pillow for $779!....With a savings over $1000. This is the BEST mattress store I've ever dealt with...And Victor deserves a promotion for all the patience he showed. He worked with my wife and I for almost 2 hours to get us everything we needed. He even listened to everything g we said....To him..And in passing. He knew we wanted the other beds at a later date....And was able to get us those NOW! Victor....YOU ROCK! read more

Walked in to get a mattress set for a spare bedroom. Juan took care of me. I was in and out in no time. Very courteous and helpful.

AT THE STORE: Great! Chris was easy to work with and provided excellent service during the Memorial Day Sale. I decided on queen instead of full and purchased a complete set-up. High five. RED CARPET DELIVERY SERVICE - NOT GOOD. Hector and Lawrence arrived 40 min late. Online tracking simply kept pushing the delivery time. I had to make a call to the store to prompt communication. People schedule their days around deliveries; proactive communication (either from warehouse or driver) BEFORE the delivery window closes and BEFORE the customer calls is one area in need of improvement. They started working, discovered they did not have headboard and footboard. Phone calls ensued. Then, the pieces were discovered on the truck (numbering issue)! Then they informed me this was their first day (contract workers) with Mattress Firm. I read the instructions and the three of us built the bed together. Start to finish about 2.5 hrs. with a reminder needed for them to take the red carpet. Their supervisor, Tricia called to check while we were working. I tried calling her back about 10 times, unprofessional voice message on answering machine. Wow. Hector and Lawrence were courteous, apologetic and completed the bed. I recently purchased a mattress from this location and I am so glad that I did! Not only do they have tons of options, but the sales associates are great! I usually dread going anywhere there are sales men because I don't want them to hassle me about products. But the sales associate, Mark, who helped me was wonderful! He was knowledgable about products, helped me find exactly what I wanted, let me try out different mattresses, and went well out of his way to get me an amazing deal that was in my budget for the mattress I wanted. He was so helpful through the whole process and very patient with me, while still keeping distance and not being pushy to get me to buy a more expensive item. I had an overall great experience getting a new mattress over the weekend. The salesman Chris was easy to negotiate with and talk. I did not feel pressured. I even found a cheaper price on my mattress online and he quickly and easily adjusted my price. I did have a couple minor problems with my delivery. They delivered the wrong mattress protector but I was able to exchange it for the right one. They were also running late but they did call and let me know they were and an updated time.
