Horrible experience overall. We went with Norfolk based on a referral from a friend who's husband…read moreworks as a cabinet / installer. From start to finish, nothing but trouble. First, our designer lost the design plans and tried to cover it up. This caused us to have to try to re-remember items that we had discussed prior. For example, we asked for no spice rack, then we get a spice rack, so we then had to improvise once the project was underway. Completely incompetant...no apologies, and our designer clearly didn't listen the first time, take notes, and honestly just didn't care at all about us. We should have known then, next time we will just walk away..... Next, our contracter was a complete joke. Never inspected the site for follow up / punch list items. Eletrical and Floor contracters were sub par, we still have a light switch that doesn't work properly. They destroyed our dining room floors relocating our refridgerator, with no full repair, just a touch up that looks like crap. They also damaged our mudroom floor and apparently have no idea how to fix what they broke, so I now have a gap in my floor that has never been addressed. Lastly, they never finished the final revisions to the trim. I told this clown several times what we needed to tidy up on, and several times never receieved follow up. In other cases, he did not properly relay instructrions to the sub contractors, so twice we had cabinet / trim people show up without the necessary materials to tidy up. The cabinent / trim guys were the only bright spot in an otherwise horrible experience. I truly felt bad for Bud and Shawn as their time was wasted by our General Contractor. As it stands now, almost 6 months since we were suppossed to be "complete" and zero follow up. I am embarrased to have people show up with incomplete instructions, and our general contractor has not visited the kitchen to address anyting since NOVEMBER of last year. Do not go with this place, over budget, zero follow up, horrible design team, bad sub contractors. Complete waste of time, and we never got the satisfaction of a final, complete, project....

We hired John to replace just about all of the windows (13) in our 1897 Victorian home. John came highly recommended, and we couldn't have been happier with his work. John was the kindest, most honest, and highly-skilled contractor I've ever worked with. He gave us a very reasonable quote for the window work, and did a great job setting expectations on how long the work would take and what it would entail. John and his team then installed the windows expertly, in the estimated time frame, and on budget. John and his team were also extremely courteous while working in our home during COVID, and went above and beyond cleaning up after themselves and taking away all the garbage. When they left, we simply got to enjoy having windows that kept our home warm . John will definitely be the first person I contact for any work associated with our home for many years to come.

John and his assistant John came over to take a look at our house and to review the engineered plans. John provided us with a fair estimate and proof of insurance. We felt confident that John could do the job. On the very first day of John and John beginning the project, they discovered ducts in the walls which were not shown in the engineered plans. They immediately stopped working and told us to review our options and make a decision that we were comfortable with. They were extremely patient and never pressured us to continue the project. Several weeks later after we had the hvac ducts removed, the project resumed. They moved with great speed through the project. Our house was cleaned up when they left each day. They could not have been more pleasant, and the communication was outstanding. Factors outside of John's control (hvac issues from an hvac company we hired) complicated the project, but John never seemed frustrated when the project was delayed. John took what had become a very stressful situation and eased our worries. He advocated for us every step of the way and went above and beyond any of our expectations. The project was finished in a timely manner, and the work was beautifully done. I can honestly say John is the most honest contractor I have ever met. We are so appreciative to have found him, will be repeat customers, and would recommend him to anyone looking for an honest and fair contractor.

In a rental property that I managed I hired Fedele to repair a structural beam that was holding up the entire house. This is not an easy task. You have to properly jack up the other sides of the home. Create proper notches in the existing beam and the new beam and line them up and seal it together. Fedele will not take work if doesn't fit his schedule or outside his scope. He is extremely honest maybe too much. He is meticulous and has passion for his work. I trust his opinion. Fedele is easy to get along with and has funny jokes. Always glad to see him on a job site.

Joe Natarelli is the real deal. We hired Joe and his crew…read moreto re-do a bad roof that another contractor messed up. The project ended up throwing us some curve balls and surprises, but at every step Joe explained exactly what he needed to do and accounted for every dollar. His crew was great and extremely careful, great work ethic, and great craftsmanship. We were also working with a tight timeline because of a graduation party at our house and the guys all made it happen on time. What a team! He had to hire some subs for parts of the project and the people he found were excellent in their workmanship and extremely kind guys. Joe became a grandfather while he was managing our project - and perhaps the best praise I can say is that he treated us like we were members of his family, that's how much he showed us he cared to do a great job and how he took care of us. (And those twin granddaughters are very lucky to have Joe for their Grandpa!). I would trust Joe and his team any day, and I recommend him 200%!
