Let me tell you I left that place feeling like a new person. Doing this review months later so cannot remember the name of the staff that did my massage but it sure you will have a positive experience with anyone there. The massage was relaxing yet deep enough to take care of my concerns. Clean and great staff. Cannot say it was cheap but definitely worth what you pay for. I will definitely go back when I'm in the area again.

I am used to enjoying Thai massages--here in the US and in Thailand. When I lived in Los Angeles, I…read morewould typically treat myself to one at least once a month. You can imagine how over the moon I was to find this place in lil' Rhody. Thai massages are dry massages and involve a lot of gentle stretching and some acupressure. I typically leave energized and not sleepy. The massage quality is at par with what one would expect for this modality. I have no complaints here. The only setback is the service rate. This place, perhaps due to lack of competition, is pricey. This has prevented me from coming regularly. That said, if you've never had a Thai massage before and are curious about what makes it different--while not planning to visit Thailand soon, or any other state where there are more spas offering this service--then do visit Thai Tranquility Bodywork. It's worth being familiar with Thai massage, and this place does a good job.

Frank is the epitome of a professional, knowledgeable, and respectful healer. I have chronic neck pain/headaches and numbness/tingling in my hands from hunching over a computer. Frank is very attentive to my reasons for coming in, and will shape the massage around what I want to get out of it (for all of you who like someone who will push hard to get those knots, Frank's your guy! yet will never bring you past your edge). Frank is SO smart about the body. It makes me feel empowered to have a massage therapist who clearly knows neurological and muscular system-- Frank will tell you exactly WHY it is that certain areas of my body hurt, and communicate what he's encountering during the massage. He always sends me with stretches and techniques for alleviating any symptoms, which means my body is happy for much longer than a day or two after the massage. Other perks are that you get to pick the music, and the staff & other therapists are always really lovely. Go here!

They don't allow you to use any discounts when paying with a gift card. I have been here several times now and have always loved their service, atmosphere and care, and was so excited to book myself a birthday massage, after receiving an email for $15 off in my birthday month. I went to pay and use said discount and was told that because their gift cards can often be purchased through some sort of deal, I can't stack discounts. This, in theory makes sense, however, knowing that this gift card was not purchased at a discount, this seemed a bit strange (I guess there is no way for them to see that there was no discount applied to purchasing a gift card...). Anyway, I was disappointed in this, as I had booked mainly to be able to use this discount and there's no indication anywhere that says you can't use a gift card with it. To be totally clear- they are fantastic here. So friendly and welcoming, I've never had an experience any less than fantastic. It' was just a strange thing that caught me off guard and I thought I'd post it to let others know.
