I've been seeing Dr. Cavendish since 2021 and wouldn't go anywhere else! He is so nice & caring and hires the most kind staff! Dawn is the hygienist and is very thorough with the cleaning and overall checking all things in my mouth. Besides getting my teeth cleaned I have had to get my bite adjusted after I chipped my tooth and Dr. Cavendish was so patient with me as I went in a few times to get my bite adjusted because it was not feeling right. Susan runs the show as she is the front office manager....and she is SOOOOO nice & funny! She's got the WOO (winning others over) and is a pleasure to talk with in person or even via text when I get my reminders for my appointment. Just had a great, thorough and painless cleaning by Belle! I was really nervous but she was very gentle (even when going below my gum line). She explained everything she was doing, showed me my X-rays and also the pics she took with a tiny camera. Their office was low key, kind and professional. I go back next week for some small fillings and will update further then. So relieved to have found a great place to go for cleanings! The new front desk lady is not nice at all. Belle and the other dental assistance just try to up sell on everything. They'll even skip the overview from Dr Cavendish to hurry time. Somehow I was always charged when my insurance covers the cleanings. When I question my charges they just give me the run around. Don't get scammed into paying extra for clean teeth. read more

Would give 0 if I could. He spends no time and after he did a horrible job with a crown 1 yr ago, and I mentioned a gap behind it, he still did nothing and now there is decay and that decay is into bone. I made appt. days in advance and said I needed it taken care of at that appointment (along with a filling that fell out) and I drove all the way and he spent 5 min with me and told it would be another $3700 for that tooth (mind you this was only ONE year ago that I paid for the crown!) and he didn't have time to fix the filling on other tooth. AND he said there was a cavity on the next tooth, that two other dentists since have said there is NO cavity on that tooth.Blatant arrogance and terrible dentistry. I have gotten TWO other opinions so far that have validate shoddy work. No wonder all his office staff have left. Didn't recognize anyone when I walked in and the back office girl had attitude to start with! And then he had the gall to charge my insurance for the visit -- even though he did nothing that I came in for!!! GO elsewhere! read more

Both my husband and myself have been going to Dr. Cavendish for about a year now and we absolutely love it (as much as one can going to the dentist). The staff are not only helpful and friendly, they genuinely care and worked with us. Dr. Cavendish himself is quite skilled and made my extractions (4 wisdom teeth and a molar) quite painless. And as someone who has a mild phobia when it comes to dentists, orthodontists and drills in my mouth, it was extremely comforting knowing what capable hands I was in. read more

I had a cleaning scheduled today for my wife and I. When I arrived they told me I needed x-rays and an exam at the last minute because it had been a year and a half since I've been in. I told them I was moving and my new insurance would cover the exam and x-rays so I just wanted the cleanings at $89.95 each rather than $200 each for everything they wanted to do. I explained the situation and they refused to clean our teeth. I have been coming here for 13 years. I have spent thousands on teeth whitening, porcelain caps bridges and much more. The dentist that started the practice, Dr. Piakis was one of the nicest and most professional people in the industry. He would never treat his long time customers like this. The warm feeling that this place used to give is gone. A fish rots from the head down....so sad it's happening to this place. read more

Called office as a new patient with an a wisdom tooth problem. They said they could get me in that same day and even called later to say I could come in earlier if able! The office staff were very friendly and Dr. Cavendish was a really nice guy. Unfortunately my problem was one that had to be handled by an oral surgeon...but they worked their magic and even though it was already 4pm was able to get me in to see one that same day :) I have been looking for a new dentist, and thanks to an emergency visit I think I have found one! read more

Dr. Kavendish was recommended through a co-worker. I am - or I should say had always been apprehensive about going to the destist. (Bad experiences). Dr. Kavendish's office was easy to find, very friendly office staff, Kathleen is amazing. She performed my xrays while discussing every little thing she was doing. The digital xrays were immediately available for me to view, displayed on the monitor in front of me. The office was prestine clean and again ALL staff were very, very friendly. I decided that since it had been over a year and my mom constantly asking why I haven't gone, I went looking for a dentist. He was near my house and they took my insurance, so both excellent qualifiers. When I got to the doctor he was very nice and the entire cleaning took maybe 20 minutes. Wasn't bad at all. read more

I was traveling through Phoenix and woke up with a tooth abscess. Found dr Cavendish on Yelp and showed up with no appointment. The front office staff was friendly and very understanding. I was seen within 30 minutes. Unfortunately I needed a specialist and they quicqly worked out an appointment the same day. I highly recommend this office ! read more

I miss Dr. Piakas. I love Terri and Karin. Recently, however, I paid my deductible and then a bill for $456 showed up to my door as in insurance error. And somehow, it's my error to research and fix. AND, my tooth still hurts. Meh. read more

I would make sure you check and double check if you are trying to make sure your insurance is in network. I got stuck with a $100 bill due to this error. I love when I have to pay for other peoples mistakes. read more

I have found a Dentist! Havent been to a dentist in a few years- no insurance- so I called a bunch of places for a resonable consult- Dr. Cavendish does consults for free- I only paid $26.00 for a couple of x-rays. I II got a same day appointment and when I got there I was only in the very nice waiting area 2 minutes before they called me in to be seated. The quote as to deal with said tooth was very resonable. Doctor Cavendish is super pleasant, and takes time to explain all options etc. I can't say enough about his wonderful front and back office staff. Great experience, and I will go back! read more
